Sometimes I feel like everyone has an opinion about how I should care for my body (and a variety of other things) but I have absolute authority even when others don't like my path.2 -
Hello everybody!
My goal is to weigh in daily and maintain this month, I have some nerve-wracking medical procedures coming up this month and I’ve decided to just maintain for my sanity.

I learned yesterday my cancer is 100% curable! 😃 I will need to have surgery and radiation and possibly chemo, which I know won’t be a walk in the park but overall the news I got yesterday was good!

Yesterday was the first time since my diagnosis that I was able to work a full day without a nap or an anxiety attack. It felt good!

My emotions are like a rollercoaster. I had some new lumps I found looked at yesterday and am getting them biopsied today. I was pretty down last night. I think the lumps are likely nothing, I’m just getting tired of being poked and prodded and this is only the beginning! Gotta dig deep and find some new strength.3 -
@midsummer174627 Sing it sister! (We just voted on this in the US) It’s amazing how often people offer their 2 cents once they find out you are trying to change your weight/health. Often unasked for. There are many threads on here about dealing with unwanted advice and “support.” You do you. You are the only one who has to live in your body for the rest of your life so what you do to it is your business.2

I have one goal for Nov. to leave the two seventies behind forever. I eat low carb, but no doubt to many calories. So I plan to log everything, every last calorie. Accountability is the name of the game. Best of luck to all lets do this.

Had the first of 4 sympathetic injections tomorrow so I won't be exercising for a few days. Tomorrow is the second I am getting iv sedation. I'm focusing on healthy anti-inflamatory foods and less on calories. I'm feeling hopeful this is a step to getting my nerve stuff under control!
Oh and I'm almost back to my weight from last week so yay!2 -

Nov 14: 169.6 (Didn't get on the bike last night as planned. Got into a Sunday blues funk. I made up for it after work tonight. Feel good with how my day went.)
Nov 15: 169.4 (Kept it simple today. Got my 10K steps. Ate well. Got crap done. Alcohol free. Hopefully I sleep better tonight than I did last night!)

My pants are looser and my top size went down a whole size (that is wonderful because of my diabetic belly). I am ready to have a good day today. I do have the other half of a Chinese dinner waiting for me for my dinner (from my daughter), but I am also babysitting again all day so up & down the stairs it will be. Handymen will be here today and I will be unpacking boxes of food to put back into cabinets. We are getting that close to being done! There will probably be one more weekend after Thanksgiving for details but furniture should go back in this week!

Nov 20: 172.4 (Not pleased to be where I am but I sunk into a funk that took me a couple of days to get out of. On the plus side, got great Peloton workouts in yesterday and today. Time to move forward.)2 -

What worked, what didn't: My family's visit de-railed things for a few days and in the past I would have had a hard time getting on the scale after a bad day, thinking "oh, I'll wait until the 'water weight' goes away" but this time I stayed the course and kept weighing and tracking, and things righted themselves. Good lesson for this week when I will be travelling on Thursday and Friday. I won't weigh in or track probably either day (I will keep focusing on eating only what my body wants, though) and next Saturday it will be back to business as usual!
@ashleycarole86 it is tough to have a binge, I know it feels like the moment gets away from me so fast. I've been having wake-up-and-can't-go-back-to-sleep issues too. Even when I can get back to sleep it still sucks to have an hour or so missing from my rest.

My emotions are like a rollercoaster. I had some new lumps I found looked at yesterday and am getting them biopsied today. I was pretty down last night. I think the lumps are likely nothing, I’m just getting tired of being poked and prodded and this is only the beginning! Gotta dig deep and find some new strength.

11/22-198.6-(Trend Weight 198.7)- This is my bloat day w/o medication yesterday so I’m actually very pleased that my overnight weight stayed the same. That may signal progress. The Good Lord knows I’ve been working hard trying to pull this kitchen back together before Thanksgiving. So many boxes to unpack! So many stored dishes and cookware to rewash! Etc. etc. Lots of movement and calorie burn. No problem getting steps in. Our holiday dinner will be on Saturday. Plenty of work until then! This is going to be a tough foody week for so many. Let’s just do the best we can and remain Thankful for all our blessings. I’m pleased to see the progress of so many of you in so many ways. Even with the American Thanksgiving Holiday ahead of us, I hope we can end this month with progress and pride!
