NOVEMBER DAILY WEIGH IN AND LOGGING CHALLENGE!!!

If this thread stays put, so will I, as I only have time for one daily thread. If not I think I will start posting in the Just For Today thread in Motivation & Support. I like that they use some kind of "spoiler" feature to shorten longer posts, like all of the month's weigh ins (although their posts can still get quite long). The other daily threads either are even less active or else they really want you to post in a specific format.
I could just post to my feed but there might not be enough accountability doing that.1 -
Nov 1: 170
Nov 2: 169.8
Nov 3: 169
Nov 4: 168.4
Nov 5: 168.6 (Had a busy week, ups and downs, very little exercise, snow has set in, not overeating like crazy but not happy with my lack of accountability to my habits. Focusing as best I can on the positives.)
Nov 6: 169.4 (Got a refreshing sleep, started my day with the Peloton and a healthy breakfast, feeling good today.)
Nov 7: 167.8 (I went back and looked and the last time I weighed less than I did this morning was Sep 8. This feels like a critical time for me to move forward back to maintenance. Trying to make good choices.)
Nov 8: 168.4 (Got my Peloton ride in last night and ate well. Things are on track. Today is very cold and I am commuting in to the office.)
Week 1 weight loss: 1.6
Nov 9: 167
Nov 10: 168.6
Nov 11: 169.4 (Currently on our way to Banff to do our first winter hike of the season. It's a good one - looking forward to the exercise.)
Nov 12: 169.8 (Today we went to a nearby city to run some errands. Want to climb on the Peloton when I get home.)
Nov 13: 168.2 (Started my day with a walk with a friend. Watching football here shortly. My husband is making pork ribs for supper. Need to get on the exercise bike.)
Nov 14: 169.6 (Didn't get on the bike last night as planned. Got into a Sunday blues funk. I made up for it after work tonight. Feel good with how my day went.)
Nov 15: 169.4 (Kept it simple today. Got my 10K steps. Ate well. Got crap done. Alcohol free. Hopefully I sleep better tonight than I did last night!)

Nov 16: 169.4
Nov 17: 169.6
Nov 18: 171.2 (Had a tough day yesterday and ended it with a binge. Of course, that didn't help anything. Getting my mind back on track today. Unfortunately I am having some middle of the night insomnia where I wake up and start worrying so I need to resolve that.)
Nov 19: 170.4
Nov 20: 172.4 (Not pleased to be where I am but I sunk into a funk that took me a couple of days to get out of. On the plus side, got great Peloton workouts in yesterday and today. Time to move forward.)

Nov 27: 174 (Got my 60 minute Peloton ride done. We are off to Banff for a Christmas Market and supper.)
Nov 28: 173.4 (Had to go into the office today to meet a new employee who started for us. Didn't have the energy for my workout when I got home. Have to juggle my time based on the energy I have.)

My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 62 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

11/28-196.6-(Trend Weight 197.9)- I woke up today feeling yucky. I had some leftover pumpkin cheesecake yesterday and I ate dinner way too late (again), so my acid reflux is giving me grief! But I also woke up with this wonderful premonition of being in the 160’s (my goal is high 140’s), and having my weight teetering after a big Holiday dinner near 170 pounds and being worried that I was going to tip the scale upward in the new yucky decade. What a great feeling to worry that my scale might hit 170 after a feast and not 200! I can do this, that’s the message I was getting. In regards to the challenge, it has definitely been slow, but let’s not forget that come Jan 1st, everyone will be looking for challenges with their new years resolutions in tote. I will see everyone on the other challenges but it may not be a bad idea to keep going and then see what happens during January. Just a thought.
11/29-198.4-(Trend Weight 197.9)- An expected bloat day. I was under calorie in diet and average in calorie burn/movement. Tomorrow is a travel day to cardiology. I hope to find out more about what the plan is for the Doppler tests I flunked on my legs. I imagine they will want me to see a vascular doctor but we shall see.

Hello everybody!
My goal is to weigh in daily and maintain this month, I have some nerve-wracking medical procedures coming up this month and I’ve decided to just maintain for my sanity.
SW: 250
UGW: under 150
11/1 W: 204.6
11/30 GW: 204
11/1: 204.6
11/2: DNW
11/3: 204.6
11/4: 204.6
11/5: 204.6
I guess I could get an award for consistency!
11/6: 203.8
11/7: 204.6
Ate my feelings last night. Big scary appointment today but will get some answers (hopefully.)
11/8: 203.6
I learned yesterday my cancer is 100% curable! 😃 I will need to have surgery and radiation and possibly chemo, which I know won’t be a walk in the park but overall the news I got yesterday was good!
11/9: 203
11/10: 204.7 🤦🏻♀️
Ugh. Not what I want to be happening. I’m like an eating machine. Eating my emotions.
11/11: 203.8
11/12: 203.8
11/13: 203.8
Stress.
11/14: 202.5
11/15: 202.5
11/16: 201
Getting close to the big “O”.
Yesterday was the first time since my diagnosis that I was able to work a full day without a nap or an anxiety attack. It felt good!
11/17: 201.7
My emotions are like a rollercoaster. I had some new lumps I found looked at yesterday and am getting them biopsied today. I was pretty down last night. I think the lumps are likely nothing, I’m just getting tired of being poked and prodded and this is only the beginning! Gotta dig deep and find some new strength.
11/18: 202.5
Ugh, all swollen up. In some pain. About four hours of work to do today then I am doing something for me! Let’s make it self care Friday if we can! ✨
11/19: 201
In a funk today
11/20: 204.7
Yuck. I think maybe I did too much yesterday after the procedure Thursday, I’m all swollen up. I had plans to do more today. I guess I have to take it easy but there’s so much to do!
11/21: 202.5
I got a lot done yesterday and also took some time for me. I got some vegan chocolate in a gift box and I tried it, not for me! I think it was made with coconut milk and some sort of bean.
11/22: 201.7
11/23: 202.7
11/24: 203
Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating!
Food wise I am looking most forward to the rolls and the pumpkin pie, since those are things I only eat this day of the year.
Get your stretchy pants on!
11/25: Nope.
11/26: 204.7
Geez oh man. I feel heavier. Onederland looks so far away now!
11/27: 205.7
Yikes! I’m not sure where this is coming from, I’ve eaten at my calorie goal the past two days, I didn’t think there would be a gain. My clothes are tighter. I’ve got to get this under control. I worked so hard to lose those 49 pounds, I don’t want to put them back on!
11/28: 205.7
Ugh ugh ugh
11/29: 204.4
Finally a little reprieve. If the numbers had climbed even higher I was going to throw the scale across the room. (Not really, I’m actually not a violent person at all.)
11/30: 205.4
I sought out comfort food last night.
Ending the month with a gain of 1 pound, this is the first time there hasn’t been a loss since March. I am not okay with this and I know what I have to do, my resolve is weak right now!2 -
@ashleycarole86 I am sorry to hear that work is causing you grief and worry. I am all too familiar with this. I admire you for still getting on that bike! I hope the haircut was some good self care!
@midsummer174627 Do the injections work?
I’ll post a December thread in a few hours when I’m near a computer!1 -

11/30-196.2-(Trend Weight 197.8)- Back down to my non-waterlogged weight and the weight prior to Thanksgiving dinner I had Saturday so I’m pleased. I am traveling today to cardiologist but cancelled tomorrow’s trip due to something important coming in the mail that requires a signature. I started my Christmas decorating yesterday afternoon. It’s moving right along. I’ll be working Thursday and Friday to finish it all up. This has been a pretty good round for me. I’ve lost 1.6 lbs and for me to lose any weight in the fall or winter is a WIN!!!

11/30
[x] Weighed: 158
[x] tracked: 2070ish
[x] exercise: no
[x] post to MFP for support (late)
Got the second of three injections so felt gross and tired all evening. Did not really pay attention to calories but made sure to get veggies at lunch.
12/01
[x] Weighed: 158.6
[x] tracked: about 2000
[x] exercise: no (still can't)
[x] post to MFP for support yes!
I'll do an end of week/end of month wrap up tomorrow night or so. Excited for the new thread!
@joans1976 too soon to tell on the injections but they are doing something which is more than I can say for many things I've tried!1 -
End of Month Check-In
11/2: 159
11/30: 157.8
Total change: -1.2 (but really the trending weight is the exact same at 158)
What worked, what didn't: I listened to my body, did not lean into binging on days like Thanksgiving, but didn't not indulge either. I weighed in almost every day and for *me* that is a great way to have gentle accountability and it keeps me from getting into a "**** it" state of mind. What did not work is that I could have been better at shopping and meal planning so I get veggies and fruit. Several days I bought a salad for lunch just so my body would have some greens for the day. Also I have been half-heartedly tracking at the end of the day instead of real-time tracking or even pre-tracking. But anything resembling a loss in *NOVEMBER* makes me feel great See you in December
