11/03 - 160.2 lbs. Did one hour of crossfit. Felt so fatigued and out-of-fuel that I chose to eat 200 calories above my goal to make room for more carbs today. I need restitution tomorrow. Think this is my 6th or 7th day without a rest day. Feeling FOMO as I won’t be signing up for the gym tomorrow 😅 I would love to go, but my body says NO 😂
11/04 - 160.2 lbs (no change). Been enjoying my rest day 🌟 Sticking to my calorie goal today. Considering doing some kind of carb cycling for the days I do crossfit. I feel like I need to up my carb intake a bit without necessarily turning up my calories too much. My CF workouts feel better when I eat a carb-«rich» meal 2 hours before. I had a couple of days where I ate cottage cheese without any added carbs before my workouts, and it’s been horrible 🥲 Lesson learned. Girls who eat lift bigger plates 🙃11/05

Decent run, probably a little dehydrated, short yoga in the morning, kept to low carb high fat and overall felt really great, no cravings, didn’t feel hungry all day.

Short yoga in the AM. Super excited this eating plan is working so well. Still overall feeling encouraged and happy. Even moods, no hangry outbursts or temptation to eat my kid’s Halloween candy.

👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE👍👍 Round 204
My goal is to lower my blood pressure through weight loss and exercise, so what I eat, and when, is a major focus for me. I am trying to use a heart healthy diet while intermittent fasting, which helps to take care of my mindless snacking in the evening. I am limiting my alcohol to social occasions only.

Do you guys weigh yourself the same time everyday? Just wondering because my weight is different if I have a bowel movement, if I go for a walk, how much I pee, if I have breakfast etc.
Wondering if I should start having some toast, a cup of tea and water and go for a walk before I weigh myself so there's less pressure to get a lower weight. (The scales are in my parents bathroom, so it's hard to get in there first thing).3 -
@sugarfreesquirrel I weight myself same time/ way each day. In the morning after I pee, before I work out. For me this works because I have a scale in my bathroom but I don’t think it really matters as long as it is the same each day. That is to say you can weight yourself after breakfast each day…it is not about the number so much as the over all trend direction.5

64 yr young F, 5ft 4 Round 203 (my 135th). As always, thank you. @QuiltingJaine.
That's the last 0.2 pound of holiday weight gain gone. Now to move on to the weight that crepy on before I went! I'd like to lose a pound this round.
No binges, keep within calories & macros.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. Healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

I always weigh myself naked (sorry TMI!), first thing after my first visit to the bathroom. Would it be possible to ask your parents if you could move the scales into the bathroom for you all to use first thing? Or alternatively treat yourself to your own set.6 -

@Lunalovefool
women who lift need to eat like big beautiful horses!!!! To quote Casey Johnston from She’s a Beast.
Lol I get your workout FOMO. I have three different workout crews and I hate missing fun times with my people!
I usually just cycle my major muscle groups, do yoga or choose cardio OR strength as “rest” days.
Nothing wrong with exercising every day if you love it and you let each muscle group have recovery time. Also nothing wrong with all out rest days!5 -
I got care free in maintenance and the scale went up one lb at a time. Now I’m turning it around one lb at a time.
2016- 245lbs
2019- 142lbs
9/12/22- 185lbs
11/3- 178.2
11/4- 179
11/5- 178.6 just sticking to the plan. I’m feeling strong and capable. Lol it is such a weird conversation in my head with my self image. Our relationship with our bodies is so complicated. I recognize that I would be ok at this weight forever as long as I’m fit.
But still I want to lose 20lbs.
Practicing self love gets easier the longer you do it. Eventually it even becomes the truth.6 -

Ask to move the scale or get a separate one for yourself. I wake up, pee, get dressed, start the coffee pot, empty the dishwasher, and then weigh myself. If I weighed myself before I dress I would weigh about a pound less. No matter when you weigh yourself or what you wear, do it the same every day to get an accurate weight gain or loss.
