    Highest weight ever: 345. (lost down to 210 about 7 years ago but alas...didnt keep it off)

    @pamlorbieski I see that you are still down almost 100 pounds from your highest weight! Congratulations on that! I will continue to be inspired as I watch you on your journey. I know you have all the tools and you've got this! Is it you that mentioned possible skin removal surgery? I would love to know the average cost of having my "bat wings" removed from my arms!

    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, high blood pressure and cholesterol, some osteoporosis and coronary heart disease with a stent in my heart. I am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

    02/01-194.6-(Trend Weight: 196.7)- It’s a short month but I will not lower my expectations for myself. I want the next five pounds gone! That would literally be finding me dipping my smallest pinkie toe into the warm welcoming waters of the 180’s (189.8). What a dream! It’s sink or swim!

    02/05-195.6-(Trend Weight: 196.7)- Well, darn it anyway! I lost a little progress but nothing I can’t quickly make up if I stick to it and give it the old college try! I am still doing well from my challenge start weight so I will focus on that. We don’t want to get too upset and fall into emotional eating! My goal this month (5 lb loss) would put me into a new decade—the 180’s. It’s like a dream……. Can I really do THAT?

    I weigh in every day and calculate weekly averages.

    Week 0 (op to January 8th): 96.8 kg / 213.4 lbs
    Week 3 (January 29th): 95.4 k / 210.3 lbs (lost this week: 0.2 kg / 0.5 lbs; lost in total 1.4 kg / 3.1 lbs)
    Week 4 (February 5th): 95.0 k / 209.4 lbs (lost this week: 0.4 kg / 0.7 lbs; lost in total 1.48 kg / 4 lbs)
    Target: lose 12 lbs / 12 weeks
    Still going down despite week of skiing with diners and drinks. Now down with COVID19, let's see what that does for myweight.

    I have been losing motivation and have seen significant decline in health. Gained weight, Cholesterol and Blood pressure, lethargy creeping up. Hoping to keep my goals simple and achieve the goal with slow and steady progress.

    Goals - Move 10K+ steps everyday, IF 16:8, planned eating - all meals should be planned atleast one day ahead of day and eat planned meals only.
    At end of March, I expect to see better number for Blood pressure.

    Reflections -
    Jan - Ate home cooked meals, portion controlled, IF and 15K+ steps almost all days except one worked well. Pre-planned meals allowed to eat out and still control daily calorie consumption. Stamina has increased, felt tired first 1.5 week but this activity is easily manageable now. Introduce Zumba/strength training atleast 2 days a week in Feb & decrease steps in those days.

    02/12-193.6-(Trend Weight: 195.5)- It’s been a very good week of following plan for me. Not perfect for sure, but so much better. I have also worked on improving water intake and using my exercise machines I have at home (exercise bike and treadmill). I did have one or two mini-binges so I am trying to find replacements for my cravings that will be enough. It’s certainly a process! My mini goal was to lose 10 pounds between Dec 10th and April 9th (Easter). Even an older person like me with lots of excuses (though most are valid) should be able to do that! So far, so good. My weight was 198.4 on Dec. 10th. I’m giving it everything I’ve got!
