I don't think she is able to do that ... she could, but I think it's beyond her.
@durden , @Betty ...MFP staff ... can you please help Katla49. She is definitely not tech savvy and is under a lot of stress in other areas so is unable to fix this herself. She also only has a phone and not a laptop.
Thank you!
Hi @Machka9! I can't commit to hopping into this thread and helping- I also would really strongly suggest not posting, or advising others to post, their passwords on a public forum... but based on what I'm seeing here I think this user would be best served contacting our Customer Happiness team- this is exactly the sort of thing they are here to help with.
@myvt9v4crh To reach our support team for assistance, please send an email to support@myfitnesspal.com explaining the problem you are having. Our Customer Happiness team deals with stuff like this all the time and would be more than happy to help.

Annie more muscle burns fat more efficiently. Less time to get more muscle gives you more time for calorie burning aerobics SWSY also strengthens bones. That having been said, you do what works for YOU! Your pot roast sounds mouth watering, can’t tell you the last time we had it.
Karen you and yours to Katla. Saved the Keep Me meme to my desktop for daily prompting.
Terri rejoicing at your DH’s “all clear”! In awe of your, Heather’s, Karen’s brother’s, Lisa’s, Tracey’s and everyone’s art. Just wow.
Lisa and Margaret Joe feels the same way about having workmen in our home. Hates the disruption. Things he treasured have disappeared. I always forget and long for home improvements, but keeping savings for the must haves that Joe agrees to, like our water system upgrade coming soon.
@Katla49 fingers X’d for your DH’s cardiologist appointment. Having you here under whatever name is important to us too. Maybe a younger nurse or tech could read the advice here and help you out? Writing Karen’s list might help. Very hard to have only on the phone you’re trying to use to fix.
Heather something is better than nothing, amen sister amen!
Vicki a very merry un-birthday to you today, and also to your DH, my birthday twin!
Lisa any word on that property?
Allie Miles’ pics really tell his story.
Machka “…be proud of every step” Yes! Stringy bark flavor? Ah Eucalyptus! Good medicine! Recently saw a post about devastating invasion here of Asian hornets. Hope they stay far from your hives.
Michele, fear not, there’s lots of us older than you too!
Carol, Allie, Beth, Lanette, KJ, Rita et al, thank you for the Birthday wishes!
Rita “…show up anyway” Bravissima!

Barbara happy birthday!
Well I was trying to fit yoga, aerobic walking and rearranging my basement corner into today. But I got involved in my dad's taxes. It's a mess. He doesn't have the necessary pile of tax documents to start with. He can no longer answer questions like did you get mandatory distributions from your 401k? He had a tax folder from 2018. Such a mess, and he feels terrible about it.
So at least we got him started on TurboTax. We lost his old account because they have his old email. So the next step is finding papers. We cleaned up a bunch of junk papers. I'm trying to focus on making little bits of progress today. And I did laundry! I keep telling him that he spent a lifetime providing income, and that's the big picture. It would be a much harder mistake to fix if there wasn't enough income.
So I had two extra portions of chocolate and an extra tea. But I think I'm over the emotional upheaval now. These taxes will be a major focus of my time as we try to find or replace the
documents. At least he is not resisting my help.
Thank you for listening to me vent. You all are such an important part of my caregiving, and my life overall. Thank you so much!

Rosemarie, my deepest condolences on the loss of your husband.
Katla, I wish I was close by. I would find you and fix your problem with MFP. I think what happened is that you got logged out of MFP by the system, then instead of logging back in, you created a new account. My advise is the same as some others have said. Find someone there who can delete the new account and help you log in with Katla49 and your password. I know you are overwhelmed right now. We are happy to have you here posting, regardless of your user name. As long as you sign your post, we know who you are. Pip, you are so sweet to offer to help. I hope that you can help her on the phone.
Beth, I did not reach my February goals either. I am thankful to have at least stayed the same. I have also been really successful in meeting my protein goals. Unfortunately, I relied way too much on protein bars instead of real food. I aim to do better in March.

Had a nice chat with my friend L today. Discussed my new book's first chapter, the family palimpsest. I'm having fun remembering my grandparents. She told me lots of stuff about her grandmother.
I ordered a new black, edge to edge cardigan today. My pension arrived! The one I wear every day of my life must be more than 10 years old. It is so thin and has holes under the arms. I have ordered an identical new one! I was thinking of the cruise, because it is my cover up for daywear. It will arrive tomorrow.
DH is really getting into the painting. He has drafted out copies of two 1930s advertisements. Must have another painting session soon! I will get my bedroom view right!
Much love, Heather UK xxxxxxxx4 -
Barbara - I don't know when your birthday is, but I wish you A VERY HAPPY ONE!!! I hope you are treating yourself. You deserve it.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx0 -
Barbara, ditto what Heather just said! I stink on ice at keeping up with birthdays. And no, the folks that own the house are MIA, haven't seen them since December. There's no For Sale sign, so I still have hope they haven't sold it out from under us... Plus I keep checking the obituaries, just in case. Talked to someone else who knows them, and she said the husband has looked like he was dying for the last ten years. Apparently hasn't gotten there yet...
Walmart trip, so am worn right down to the ground. I've got lots of blood work slated here in a couple weeks with the VA. It will be interesting to see where everything stands.
While reasonably technical, I'm on a droid phone, so would have been less than useless in this discussion. I hope Pip can gently guide Katla through the necessary effort to get things back to right.
Later,
Much love,

Happy Birthday Barbara!

Well yesterday was a tough day, as I was hoping with all my might to get a call from youngest sailor son. I commented on my ships moms page on Facebook, "any news"? I then got on the incoming vessels for the port of San Diego. Nothing. I was looking at the list of arrivals, and ones in port, nothing. I got a message from the Ombudsman that the ship is still out on patrol which I appreciated. Interesting that they put nothing out on the ships page saying that the tiger cruise was cancelled. I received a message from one of the moderators that just said, "why"? I thought that was pretty blunt. At least when I am messaging members on my navy moms site I say, " hi I am one of the moderators with Navy Mom Strong, what is your question". I told her I was texted by the Ombudsman so my question was answered.
So all stress and anxiety was really nothing. Lee was extra attentive as in the morning I was feeling just broken. This morning I woke up to a croissant on my coffee maker.💖😁
Paying bills and completing my shopping list. Its the simple things that set me right again. Oh and I washed my hair and gave myself a coconut oil massage. Noticed I have a small blister on my left big toe. Annoying!
Thank you Barbie for starting off March on the right foot!💖🤗. I don't know if I will have any goals this month. I have noticed that if I keep life light and not so regimented, I do better. I do not do well with a diet mindset as I then constantly beat myself up mentally and that's not the way to live. So I will just do things like:
-eat meals that I know I process well. I have a handful, and so I keep items stocked to eat those weekly.
-take my vitamins and drink enough water daily.
-walk as much as possible.
-only step on scale weekly if that. Its not important to know my numbers. More important how I feel.

Happy birthday Barbara!
Went to dentist this morning for checkup and cleaning. All is well. Got the pickup back home and it is running well. It is sunny but very chilly today. Planning chicken white chili for this evening. Will put it in the crockpot soon.
Lanette - seriously considering at least a small generator. The solar power sounds interesting.
Pip - hope you can help Katla out and thanks.

Our son and daughter are in our home in Oregon, packing up to bring our things to Illinois. They’ve done so many things and among them are finding DH’s wedding ring and his glasses.
I am sorry to say I have no idea how to fix the mess with my identity. It saddens me.
Being with all of you is important to me.

Can you read personal messages in MFP?
You are important to us too and we are sad for the frustrating struggle. 💕

I did my thirty minutes of yoga and thirty minutes of aerobic walking Yay!
I ate 1164 and have a current deficit of 228 calories. Well my target is a deficit of 300, so not great but not bad for an emotional day. I have to stay firm and not eat anymore because I spent my calories on chocolate.
Annie in Delaware2 -
Pip - Thank you for helping Katla on the phone! I was trying to figure out if I could do that, but I am not as confident as you are with this techy stuff.

Afternoon ladies
Well went to the GI doc for nothing 🙄 as im not due until next year, but do you think any of them looked that up? Until the Dr came in?
But you know when your somewhere that you need to be,guess I was supposed to be in that waiting room.
This woman was at the window speaking with the receptionist, and then sat down a few chairs away from me and started crying
I told her it would all work out and be ok.. she unloaded
Her mom died 3 weeks ago,her dad has cancer, her MIL is dying .she is unemployed and is responsible for 4 people and was like at the end of her rope.she was going in for an endoscopy. She cant drink anything for 4 hrs after and only water after that and 8 hrs after that ahe can have a snack..
The poor girl was just beside herself
So i sorta gave her my story about the heart surgeries and the kidney stuff and being in the hospital all those times and here I am watching a 1 yr old. Told her I would keep her in my prayers..
So ,needless to say I go back in April of 20248 -

My son will be getting a new iphone for me but it will take time. He is currently starting to Illinois from Oregon & it will be awhile before he can get a replacement for this old phone. He will be driving a truck to our daughter’s house and will bring our possessions in a rental truck. Until I get a replacement phone, I can text, but that’s it.
It is frustrating and this phone will hit the trash bin as soon as I get a new phone and dial tone.

This old phone is not working well enough. I plan to buy a new one, down load all the photos through the years, and upload them to a new phone. Our son is skilled, and will be able to upload all the wonderful memories. Meanwhile I’m going to keep this old phone/camera charged until our son gets here. After that I’ll be able to post here whenever. I’ll do all I can to keep it charged.0

Melaleuca is a tea tree and tea trees are in the myrtle family.
Stringy bark is a type of eucalyptus.
However, to my taste buds, the honey from each has a similar taste ... but to me, the stringy bark is less "medicine-y" so I like it better.
