Did 30 min HIIT on the elliptical and then 30 min on the stairstepper. The went to Aldi, home and laid by the pool for a bit. Then lunch with my cousin. The plan for tomorrow is to do a strength DVD

At lunch I had this fish platter, some sort of fish, scallops, and shrimp with vegetables (cauliflower and broccoli <no butter> and the cucumber/tomato salad as my sides. Just water to drink. I logged shrimp tacos because that's what I thought I was going to have, but it probably had the same number of calories or at least close

The lady who I was going to play cards with yesterday couldn't find anyone else to play so we played rummikub instead. Nice for a change. I really don’t like the way Newcomers is playing right now….too many rules. I want to be a bit challenged (and it is).

Katla – don’t worry about fixing MFP. We know and love you, regardless of what MFP does or says. You are dealing with so much right now, this should be the least of your worries

Got a set of 5 pounds weights (for $2 at a thrift store) so I just left them at the gym down here. I always needed to take the 5 pound ones from the weight rack and always worried that if someone else needed them, I had them. Now there is a set in the room that I use. I told them that I don’t care if someone else uses them. As long as they are there when I come back, I’m happy.

Heather – I’m proud of you for reaching out to your old friend.

M – that was very nice of you to do for Katla (contacting the staff) and Pip – thank you for offering to walk Katla thru it on speakerphone

Annie DE – yea for the weight loss

Found out that I really can’t do xstitch in the evening on the porch. The light out there is not bright enough. Tomorrow Vince is talking about changing the light. He goes to see the orthopedist and we’ll see if he needs the MRI

Walked around the parking lot, did 10 laps. Still not at 10,000 steps, but pretty close

Barbara – Vince has the sensitive passwords in a program with a password to get in. I can draw a picture, too….as long as I have tracing paper….lol Happy birthday!

I have to admit, I am not missing Rebecca’s food porn….lol

Allie – what a wonderful thing of you to do just listening to that lady

Off to take a shower. I take one about every day down here it’s so humid. Plus, I usually take a “rinse off the sweat” shower after the gym.

    UPDATE W/katla

She called me. I was able to get her to log out of the other name but she doesn’t have the right password for katla49. Got her to click on forgot my password so it can send her a reset link to her email. Told her to go to the front desk of where she is staying and have them help her on clicking on the link to reset her password. She didn’t know how to put me on speaker so it was a bit of a challenge on hearing her all the time. I will call her tomorrow.

    Thank you!! :)

    Happy March Everyone!

Barbie thank you once again for another month. I can’t believe it’s March already!

I have been reading but not taking the time for notes the last few nights is because I have had one friend after another call this week and I’ve been on the phone for 2 hours each night for the last 3 nights!
    I am conversed out.

I applied for a new job today, if is another LTC facility here in the city. Less than a minute drive from where I currently work so no difference in my commute.

I just saw a commercial for another dating reality show. It’s called “Farmer Takes A Wife”. 4 farmers vie for the love of a city girl who can handle being a farmers wife. I don’t know how these shows keep coming.

Pip-Thanks for helping her. I know she is frustrated and will be thrilled when it is fixed.

Got to go back to our old building for Zumba and are now back to two nights a week. It will take some time to get used to it(plus learn the new songs they started doing during the two months of class I missed after my surgery). Did ok, not great, but better than sitting at home on my butt. Next Wed. is my birthday but I will be going to class(went to class on my wedding anniversary too;) ) It is where I want to be and I should be able to do what I want for at least an hour of my birthday. Will be working that day too. Did hit my 10,000.
No walking today- it has rained the last few days and today, I was just too tired and it was too windy and cold(and I just wasn't feeling it). Maybe next week I can get back on track with walking and Zumba.

We will do our usual Thursday errands as I am off. Dh is now off 6 days a week, some weeks 7 as of today. They put the retiree restrictions back in AND started a new program so they don't need his help on price changes every Wed, just every other Wed. I am hoping he picks up at least a few shifts a month in the deli. Having him only work 2 shifts a month is a huge change after him working 35hrs this past week alone. What ever happens, it will work out.
Going to a new Asian buffet tomorrow. He went with a friend this past week for the first time and really liked it. Supposed to have a lot of great seafood. He said the calamari was amazing and he went back I think he said three times for more, great scallops and stuffed shrimp. A bit expensive but we will do the lunch which is just about half the dinner price. May see how it is and maybe for a splurge go there for dinner.

Going to watch Survivor. It is recording so I can skip the commercials. One of my favorite shows. I have only missed one episode in the previous 43 seasons.

Had a peanut butter and honey sandwich after class. Will have some tea and that is it, hopefully.

    Machka 2 points for me.

    Never have I ever:
    Had a myspace account
    An AOL address
    :D

Happy Birthday to the March birthday girls - there a few of us if I remember rightly.

Nothing much happening in my neck of the woods, which I suppose is a good thing, things can always be worse!

I've been exercising regularly for a few weeks, what do they say, do something for so many days it becomes a habit - I hope so, but I am easily distracted >:) Unfortunately my weight is not going in the direction I want. Having logged my food for the last week or so, I can see where I am going wrong, but it is hard to get back on track.

I don't like reality shows and rarely watch them. Some of the shows they have on TV lately I can hardly believe, not sure of the name of one I saw when browsing through the channels, but I was suddenly accosted by a mans genitals on screen and a woman saying what she liked an disliked about them! :o Think it was called naked attraction or something. Times have changed :D

Time is getting on, so I'd better get some housework done before going to check on my mum.

Take care and love to all <3

I've been going back and forth about the AOL address. I know we used to get AOL CDs so we could sign up for an AOL address, and we would use the CDs to scrape the ice off our car windshields, but I don't remember if I did have an AOL address for a little while or not.

But I know I never had a MySpace account and was a late starter with FB.

    Happy March 1!
Took my Miata to get her first oil change this morning. I had a lovely conversation with a young man in the waiting area. He was so proud of his young daughter and trying to be the best father/person he could be for her. Afterwards, I drove the car to work with the top open, heat on, and music blaring. I am so happy when driving her! Work was okay, busy! Ginny You are right! In like a Lamb at least until after work, then all H*** broke loose at our house! I watched the most beautiful lightening until one boomed right outside the window! I screamed. The funny thing is the rain didn't come until about 40 minutes later. Then it came in buckets! The weather is crazy! Stay safe!

You are all such inspirations! From simply stated goals to explicit goals and everything in between. From caring for loved ones to caring for yourselves. The willingness for trying new things and the securities of doing the things that are known.

Happy Birthday, Vicki, Barbara, Machka, and Debbie!

Pip Thank you for helping Katla.

Teri and Kim Healing thoughts for healing for loved ones.

Tracey Best wishes for new job!

    Rosemarie and Julie ((hugs))

I appreciate you all! Thank you for being here.

Didn't get this posted last night, so posting now before work.

2 points for me. I've always had a Yahoo account and never been on MySpace.

Went for my run this morning. Saw these young people shrieking in the freezing cold water! We had a frost last night! :o They were obviously enjoying the pain! :p

    Good morning ladies!

    Ginny thanks for the tip!

Kim I'm so sorry your mom fell. Hope the surgery goes smoothly.

Tere, good luck dealing with your husband's recovery. Hope the pain gets better.

I had a MySpace account for awhile but it wasn't very interactive. I never had an encyclopedia or an aol address.

Happy birthday to all the March women!

And hope you all have a wonderful day.
