    May 15: 65.17 kg / 143.7 lbs - given up on eating back my workout calories, it's not happening. I'm okay with being under as long as my energy levels and mood are good ;)

Otherwise, I would think it would create a weird gap from April to May that isn’t accounted for —except for at the very end of the challenge. I suppose.

    05/09-194.2-(Trend Weight: 193.3)- It’s my birthday tomorrow. I really wanted to give my body better health, a better weight, a better outlook. April was horrible and May has not went as well as I had hoped. I’m disappointed. I travel today for my 4 month dental cleanings for myself and son. We’ll have a late restaurant lunch and do some shopping while out of town. I’ll try to choose carefully. Tomorrow is an art gallery and concert at the high school my grandchildren attend. I’ll be spending the evening with them. So many foodie things this week!


    05/16-193.6-(Trend Weight: 194.3)- The progress should have been much better but it was a foodie week. My Birthday, Mother’s Day and some general out-of-town travel. Hopefully this week will be better although I’m already on day 2 of travel.

    So this weeks a gain. Some off it is expected due to fluctuations and TOM.
    But some off it is just, my child had a birthday, my work treated us to pizza, friends invited us to barbecue and I have eaten some more than i should at every turn. But I am not going to sweat it. I am continuing my streak on logging and seeing what I am doing. Today is constitution day and rounds up the week of slip ups and I will start up a fresh and motivated tomorow knowing I have had plenty of easy mode this week.

I have been a member of MFP since November 17, 2016 but did not start to use it regularly until July 1, 2020. I had to look at my profile to refresh my memory. Wednesday's are my regular weigh-in. So I will start April 5th.

    Family history of heart problems including my younger siblings. I have white coat syndrome so primary care physician said to take blood pressure readings 3 times in the am once a week for 3 months. This will give me an accurate average and if I need to increase my prescription. Thanks for asking.

    I think I finally figured out how to reply to a specific post - I tried once or twice before but messed it up. I also hope that everything with your blood pressure works out and wanted to thank you for replying to a post of mine a while ago. I'm 58 and this year I have really noticed that my weight gain has affected my health with higher blood sugars and arthritic pain. I am hoping that losing a few pounds will make a difference. Best wishes to you and good luck on your weight journey.

    Well, I didn't lose, but I didn't gain either, so that's something! My clothes are fitting better, so I think I have been body recomping, as I have been weight training for a few months. I have upped my steps and included a morning walk into my routine, but have also been eating more calories, so it's giving me a good idea of what it's going to take to stay at maintenance. I really want to lose 10 more pounds, but I'm finding it hard to stay disciplined in the evenings.
