Hi, I’m Tiffani. 41 female 5’1. Lost 20lbs 2 years ago and felt so good but I’ve put it all back on and I’m finally ready to get back on track. I’m only tracking food right now and will add in movement at some point.

    1: 159.6
    2: 159.0
3: 159.0 (ate good yesterday despite having lunch provided at a work event. Very proud of myself and I’m sure that’s why I didn’t jump back up in weight this morning:) I’m trying to listen to my hunger cues…something I’m not very good at.
4: 159.6 ate good yesterday. Definitely didn’t go over my cals so I guess my body is fluctuating water weight. I feel really good about being back on track and doing something rather than just wishing I was thinner lol

Travelling, and Ate nothing but fast food yesterday. Still within calories. Up north , but bizarre weather. It’s the hottest it’s been in 125 years here. Beautiful area. Used to live further north from here. (Sudbury ), It was really cold in the winter… brrrr…this area reminds me of my childhood.

Hello I'm Darlene and have been with this group for a few months now; my favorite support group on MFP. Retired, 63-year-old. Married (Greg), one adult daughter (Allyson), and one goldendoodle (Monty).

    My goals for October🍂 :
Lose 4 pounds (always my goal) - BUT I am only 6 pounds away from getting out of the obese category - so setting a stretch goal to get there by the end of the month. Usually if I announce something I do it so . . . .. fingers crossed. ⚖️
Hit my orignal 1,960 mile goal. I am on a mission to get 2,023 miles in 2023, when I first started my goal was 1,960 - a good year. When I realized that I would achieve this early changed it to 2,023. 🏃‍♂️
    17K Steps daily 👣
Drink 6-8 Glasses of Water Daily 💦
    Strength Train 3 days a week 💪
Tai Chi or Some Stretching exercise 1 day a week 🧘
    Log daily 📝
Stay under my calorie range 🥗
    Read daily 📖
Do something creative or fun daily 🧶 🖍️ 🧩 🎮
    ⚖️ 🏃‍♂️👣💦💪🧘 📝🥗 📖 🧶 🖍️ 🧩 🎮

Weight Loss to Date: 53.8 Pounds
    September Ending Weight: 174.2

    🎃👻🍂Happy October!🎃👻🍂

    Oct 1: 😁 173.8 A good start 👣💦📝 🥗 🎮
    Oct 2: 😁 173.4 👣💦💪📝🥗 📖 🖍️ 🎮
Oct 3: 173.4 👣💦📝🥗 📖 🖍️ 🎮 The Hogwarts challenge that I am in has an assignment this week to run/jog for 20 minutes. It doesn't have to be in one session. Years ago, I did the Couch to 5K and jogged a 5k on my 50th birthday (a time when I was almost at my goal weight). I thought about doing that again, but when I tried earlier this year my knees couldn't take it. I thought I would try again when I lost 60 pounds - I'm not quite at 60, but close - I guess this was a sign that I should try again. Yesterday I did day one, and it was fun. Keeping my fingers crossed because I really did love it.
    Oct 4: 173.6 👣💦💪📝🥗 📖 🖍️ 🎮
    Oct 5: 173.4 👣💦 📝🥗 📖 🧶 🖍️🎮

This is always difficult, because you don't have much choice in the food at the conferences (at least that was the case when I had to go away to conferences). Do the best that you can, but just commit that when you get back home, you'll be back on plan. You've got this.

    Starting weight September 1: 141

    Goal weight for October: 132.8

    October 1: 136.2
October 2: 137.0 I logged 👍 Wow, my weight can really spike up quickly. On Sept 30 I was 134.8. Now 2.2 lbs higher. But this is not a surprise. On Sept 30 my mom took me out to lunch; and the mac & cheese was sooooo bad. I just had to go home and make mac & cheese to go with dinner, the proper way, with all the butter and flour and cream cheese and buttery bread crumb topping. And I ate too much of that mac & cheese. And then yesterday we had a long party with friends, and there was a ton of great food & wine. So I overdid it there. So, now back to the plan. My goal is to get back at daily logging & daily meeting my calorie goal, AND to drink lots of water. Cycle day 1 should be right about now too, so the weight could stay here or go up again. Just going to get back to the plan and try to stick with it from here!
    October 3: 137.0 I logged 👍
    October 4: 136.8 I logged 👍

5: 159.8 I ate a little more yesterday but still under maintenance by 1-200 cals. I think the bump up was because I ate more towards the end of the day. I know if I keep on keepin on it will eventually show up on the scale

Away from home, eating out all the time, and staying within calorie goal, but don’t feel good. Fast food is not sitting well with me.
I usually cook for hubby and me and always have vegetables. So far on this trip, I’ve eaten, wraps, burger, and chili. Need Tums!
Tomorrow should be better. I packed us food for a 10 hour train ride through the Agawa Canyon. Fruit and raw vegetables included.

My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 63 years old and from the Michigan USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s

Starting Weight (from Sept 30th): 188.2
    Goal: 184.2 (Four lb Loss)
    Actual Ending Weight: xxxxx

**************************************ONE DAY, ONE STEP, ONE DECISION AT A TIME************************************

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    10/02-187.0-(Trend Weight 189.0)-

    10/03-186.2-(Trend Weight 188.5)-

10/04-186.6-(Trend Weight 188.5)- Finally TMI after 3 days of no action and the scale went up? Go figure! My calories were under, my carbs were under, I got in 32 minutes on the exercise bike using HIIT with it, my water was so-so. The only thing bad was my sleep last night. Just shy of 4 hours of sleep. So many things are in play with weight loss including hormones. I’ll just roll with the punches and let the universe even things out. As Billy Joel sang, it’s a matter of trust.

10/05-185.8-(Trend Weight 188.2)- I was happy to dip into the 185 range this morning, However, I travel today for my bone density scan. I’ll do my shopping while out-of-town and also have a nice lunch or dinner with my son so I know the weight will be back up tomorrow. I did chose my highest calorie/carb allowance day on zig-zag for today because of the travel. I know I went over that but I will be following today with the lowest allowance for the zig-zag week tomorrow as part of my plan. Hopefully this will mitigate the damage and will be good like a bad dream before you know it.
