Treadmill done for 25 minutes today. Melody, 20 miles is very impressive. My workout is a little over 1 mile.

Quiet day today as hubby is working on the field for the next couple of days. Need a haircut and hopefully that will happen on Thursday when we go grocery shopping. Will stop into Great Clips and get a much needed trim.

Hoping everyone is doing well with their exercise challenge. Good to have a routine to keep moving.

No treadmill today as we went grocery shopping and I got my haircut. Didn't get back until early afternoon.

Still dealing with the smoky air and our air quality is very poor. Just spent a bit of time with the dogs outside and then back indoors with the a/c running. Tackling some usual housework and laundry.

Welcome to our group nettnett73! Let us know how you are doing.

Seems like challenges are a good deal for this thread. Welcome to NettNett (I live a couple of hours north of Branson), Thus2cat, and GR8 who originally asked about a challenge!

I did ok on day 1, did most of my 30 minutes. Laid and Sat A-Round all day Tuesday reading a book I started the evening before … so didn't get but half of that time in. Today was better, got about 45 minutes in. … I need to do some stretches and chair EXERCISES … I know it will help me have more stamina and strength after just a few short weeks.

Treadmill 25 minutes. Find it so boring on the treadmill but downloaded a new series on prime video to my ipad and watched the first episode while I walked. Not too bad overall. Would much prefer to walk outside but it is simply too smoky for that right now.

Next week Friday will be a bit stressful as getting together with family/friends of my late sister. She passed away suddenly last October and they are now having her urn placed at the cemetery columbarium with a reception to follow. Talked to my brother who lives in a different province and he is coming with his wife. Will be nice to see them again. Surprised that this wasn't done a few months back. They had a celebration of life for her in October.

Hubby is back working on the field so a quiet day for me.

    Melody, peach muffins sound good.

nsk, pace yourself, I'm sure we all have on and off days

Joy, I find the treadmill boring also that's why I like walking outside it doesn't seem like exercise. You are still dealing with the smoke, I know what it's like because it drifted here (Midwest) it took several days for it to pass on. Air quality was very bad and smoky.

    30-minute walk today

Day 4. Walk for 50 min.

It rained most of the day but got sunny right before sunset. Did some errands. Otherwise kind of low energy on my part.

Joy —Hope you will make it through the next week without stress or smoke.

    Ladies, you are doing great!

yesterday was a wash as far as countable exercise goes.
Oh, I did do a lot of leg and feel movements however they are PT and it would e stretching to count them into my minutes. Spent most of the day with my feet elevated above my heart level or sitting in a chair and doing the PT cause I had another bout of edema in my feet that prevented me from being able to walk much: feet hurt too much to put weight on them. Thank goodness e a fasting day. I had fresh leff overs and easy foods on hand so it didn’t need to be a fasting day

Today I feel much better and was able to put socks and shoes on I’m having my morning coffee on the e patio and doing chair yoga. Thank goodness again for cell phones so I can have a video on to follow along with on the exercises. Will I get in m

nsk…Sorry to read about your edema problems and good for you doing chair yoga.

titus…To my way of thinking, housecleaning should count as it's still movement!

Quite proud of our little group and our exercise routines. Did my 25 minutes treadmill and it wasn't too bad as I'm getting into the new series I'm watching.

Had a slight frost yesterday. Haven't checked the garden area yet but it may have affected two tomato plants I have out there. Will take a look later.

Thanks Joy, I used to really 'beat myself up' at one time when I didn't complete a task or goal I'd set for myself; but I'm more relaxed about it now. I still regret not hitting the finish line but also know a body can only do as much as it can do and then you have to let it go for the day and try again the next one.

Yes, I agree Titus … housework counts … my doctor said so!

Day 5. Claiming 60 min. of walking. Some of that was walking around a zoo. Saw a cute baby red panda. Very shy critter. Beautiful weather.

Housework is exercise—it makes us tired , right?

    I really like chair yoga!

No exercise today. Went to the dump this morning and then did pretty much nothing constructive for the rest of the day. Blaming hubby as he started watching football at 10:00 am this morning and still watching. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Day 6. One hour walking. Nice day after rainy morning. I hope I can keep this up next week when we have workers in the house. I would rather not leave while they are here.

Better day today. Got my treadmill walking in so feel good about that.

Have one large tomato plant out in the garden area and finally got a couple of nice ripe tomatoes. Will have a toasted tomato and bacon sandwich for lunch today. Have had one very light frost that didn't affect the tomato plant but will keep and eye on the weather and may have to just pick them green and let them ripen in the basement.

Meeting with my travel agent on Wednesday (phone call) and booking my trip to Europe for next June. Booking early and taking advantage of the discounts on right now. Decided not to do the river cruise as I think the hot weather in Europe has affected the river levels. Will do a 10 day Imperial Europe tour which includes Munich, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg with stops at two other small cities. Itinerary looks very interesting with lots of history in that part of Europe.
