GR8TAWK Sounds like you are doing well with your approach to prediabetes. I'm not doing low carb but focusing more on carbs that have more fibre and ones that are low glycemic. Have you checked out the American Diabetes Association website? They have a lot of info about carb counting and meal planning. I couldn't see what they recommend for daily intake of carbs but the Canadian Assoc. recommends 45 - 60 grams per meal and 15 - 30 per snack. I know lower carbs will help with weight loss and I'm sure you will see a difference. When do you get your A1C checked again?

I can so relate to this especially the buying smaller clothes part! I don't do that anymore either.
