Hello ladies!
Well our weekend couldn't have gone any better, it was just perfect.π€π
Husband managed the drive down and back without any issues. We had a nice dinner at a seafood place on Friday night. I had a shrimp and crab tortellinis, with a beer. It came with a large salad. I ate more than half of my salad, but by then my beer had kicked in so kind of picked at my tortellini. I didn't have any bread. My granddaughter instructed that I sit next to her so I was coloring.π
We met the next day and went over to my mother in laws place (she is 90 years old, bless her) and had lunch with her. The boys were able to also chat with their cousin who lives upstairs with husband. Athena was her cute self, we seemed to be joined at the hip if we're in the same room. I love being her grandma! Eli and my husband seem very content with each otherπ. He's really the sweetest 5 month old ever. On Friday when we visited at my.sons place before dinner, I had quite the wet shirt from Eli's teething. He's a cuddly little babe.π€π
That Saturday night was a family function at a local pizza place. Both my sisters were there! My eldest came, and my middle sister was able to come since my niece drove her, and my niece brought her three kids too.π. We had a niece come from husbands side of the family. She came with her husband, and their 5 yr old daughter. So my granddaughter and her played and ate pizza together. All in all a nice get together, and surprised by who was able to come.
Sunday was a breakfast at Elmers and a day at sons just soaking up the grandkids and our sons chatting. My son made tacos for us all. We left at 7:30 pm because we had to wake up at 3:30 am on Monday to drive up and drop youngest off at Sea-Tac. I was proud of myself for keeping things together until we walked away from him in the security line. Then I was a mess, sobbing quietly. My eldest was like "its ok Mom, he'll be fine". I didn't really stop until we got to the car. Sometimes life gives you so much emotions they have to spill out of your eyeballs to process. π₯π
We still have eldest son for a bit before he heads over to Japan. Tonight is Chinese food.π€π
Hugs everyone!

Did a complete strength training DVD, the plan for tomorrow is to do a Body Attack DVD.
When I went to the Y there was a train stopped on the tracks so I, literally, sat there for 1 hour. I know one road by the Y that intersects another road further down, but I couldnβt remember if there were any train tracks before the intersection. And my phone was in my trunk.
My leg is still oozing, but even less than yesterday. I really cut it deep. Fortunately, we have gauze and tape down here
We have a meeting here at the condo about the seawall (that needs to be replaced which means a good sized assessment) Vince is worried about how much the assessment will be
Annie β donβt they make a milkbone-type thing for cleaning dogβs teeth?
April β I didnβt realize that your son was being moved so quickly. How wonderful for you! I love yogurt in the IP, too. I tend to like it not as βbitterβ and I can control that in the IP
Michelle NV β rant all you care to. We exercise so we have large shoulders
Itβs pretty warm and not windy so I told Vince that after dinner weβll walk across the street and get ice cream for dessert. Hopefully, this will get him to start walking again. I also found out that as long as you order SOMETHING (it can even be a soda) you get a free slice of pie on Wednesdays at this one restaurant. That can be a Wednesday walk.
April and everyone else β remember the saying βa problem shared is a problem halvedβ
Lisa β I know that Iβm up on my tetanus
Annie β I think youβll do great a Tech. Proud that youβre going after it
Eating: I donβt know where I heard it, but Iβve found that having protein really does reduce those βcravingsβ
Barbara β before my Wii gave up the ghost completely, I used to have to unplug it to reset it. If it is your brakes, hope it isnβt something real serious
Michele who is looking forward to tonightβs ice cream. Itβll be mint chocolate chip with Andes candies4 -
Thanks Lanette for asking and Machka for answering, was wanting to do this recently too. The mfp search is more targeted, but the Google search came up with another auntiebk, a gal named Brenda Klutzβs Pinterest nickname and boy has she pinned some good looking recipes! :}
Michele brava for the yoga and pilates results!
Barbie et al about how far weβve come, when Mama was born, women didnβt have the right to vote. When I was in high school we had a dress code that required dresses or skirts with maximum and minimum length from center of knee. That having been said, thereβs still a ways to go, as you know if youβve ever been given the run around by an automobile professional. Much as I resent the reality, Iβm thankful Joe took my car in to talk to βthe guyβ about the brakes and brake bulb lamp fault warning.
Evelyn ββ¦lease know that I do laugh, cry and fume right along with all of youβ Ditto ;}
Heather ((hugs)) hoping for help for your legs. Iβm enjoying anticipating your Sicily/Tunisia cruise.
Wow Terri, that Profile/Replies is slick! Thanks! ((hugs)) for your DH. Good of him and his pal to collect that friend and give him a day out.
Kylia hooray for DH joining your walk! Love your sign off quotes. Sorry your DH was a grump on top of your cut finger. You do so much, wish he appreciated you more. (hugs)
Heather the article!
Lisa ββ¦put it in my planner so itβs real, right?β Right! OMG the $$,$$$ Skyrizi prices. :noway:
Margaret thanks for the PEMF info and William Pawluk. Intriguing.
Allie, added Tracy and her twins to my mfp prayer list. ((hugs)) Brava for your quick walk around the building. Baby steps.
Beth ((hugs))
Rita found your watch? Halelujah!!!
Tina 2 plus day migraine? (gentle hugs)
Debbie ββ¦He just said, most mom's would be happy their son was doing well . . . and then he let it go-β That is a huge attitude shift!
Vicki your birthday is one day after your DHβs?
Lanette does walking on dirt paths cause the same pain as walking on pavement?
Rosemarie I love that your grand dog sleeps beside you. Our big, black bear of a dog, Shadow, comes and sleeps alongside of me after Joe gets up. Very comforting. I too am looking forward to longer, brighter days, but the snow forecast for Saturday, well . . .
Kay, those are some important small wins, hooray!
Michele ow, that bleeding leg sounds like it hurts! Hope the recommended guy calls back with a reasonable quote.
Ginny, Iβm with you about the Sauvage commercials Good luck at the implant appointment, keeping fingers Xd for you.
Michelle in NV ((hugs)) No need to apologize, this is the safest place for dumping our woes. Weβve all had those kinds of days, feeling bad from poor food choices. ((hugs))
April safe travels and virtual hugs to your son. Whatever helps you to bring good energy to him will help.
Deb__23 con VERY Grats for eliminating late night snacking. Thatβs a tough one.
Machka thanks for yours to Michelle in NV. The voice of experience, Iβm sure it will help.
Margaret good luck with the yoghurt!
Rebecca wow! What a reunion. Everyoneβs joy shines out from those pics. So happy for you all.
Michele your plans to get your DH to walk. Donβt know what Iβll do if my wii and balance board ever quit completely. Do you know of any alternatives?
Kept hearing Johnny Cash sing about ββ¦everywhereβ so had to share my paltry list.
Lived: California, Idaho, Oregon
Travelled: Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, New York, British Columbia, England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Israel.
Thought Iβd travel some more after retiring, but Joe doesnβt want to and to be honest Iβm mostly content to stay home. Might make an October trip to SoCal to visit friends and sibs and one day to Colorado to visit friend and see the Skye Terrier Roving Specialtyβ¦
Joe called and my care passed its inspection with flying colors. No need for brakes or any other repairs. Thank very goodness! Casserole-a-thon and doggie daycare trial now for Friday morning.
Later, lighter, lovelies!

Rebecca: Wonderful to see you enjoy all the extended family who visited. Your eldest boy sounds like a wise one.
Greatly enjoyed Craft this morning. After lunch I had another appointment with the surgery nurse to check on my eczema. Itβs almost all back to βnormalβ. I will have to be more regular with moisturising in future to avoid it breaking out again. And the nurse said to be sure and get help immediately if it flares up again. I plan to keep it covered to avoid it getting aggravated again by my clothes.
Up early tomorrow to get our weekly grocery shopping done.

Rebecca - Oh my heart... from here, I can feel yours overflowing. How many years since your boys have all been in one room? When you're a military family, those times are so incredibly precious. So pleased that it was good.
Rori - All the talk about everyone's travels reminded me of our favorite traveler, Rori. Hope all's well, and that you're living your life as its usual breakneck place. You're always missed.
Evie - Hope you're continuing to get better.
Read everyone's posts, and I'm sorry I've not taken notes. Please take everything Barbara AHMOD said above and repeat it from me. As usual, she and I stay on the same page...
Here's today's organ recital... πππBack from my second test of the day, the full-body scan. During the first scan, they put in the IV and took a scan of the knees. In the second part, after the bones had time to absorb the radiation they put in earlier, they did the full body and then zeroed in on the knees again as well.
They were going to do three more body sections, zoomed in covering one-quarter each, but apparently, no big issues were showing on the big scan, so they just did the zoom on the knees. Sounded good to me. And, also on the good side of things, no disrobing, just taking off my watch and glasses.
These days are... exhausting, even when they're good. They strapped down my feet, hands, and head. If I were a claustrophobe, I'd have been completely doolally - the full body one begins with a scanner about three feet square lowered down within an inch of your nose. I'm not claustrophobic, and I only opened my eyes once and quickly closed them. During the full body, the bed you're on moves from under the scanner very, verrrrrry slowwwwwwly, taking a half hour to move five feet... and then you're done.
And... on the way home from the scan, got a call saying the cardiologist is moving the heart ultrasound back to my birthday. They sedate you for that one, so Corey has to be there to pick me up. It's one way to spend your birthday with your husband, but not exactly the one I would have chosen. But then again, if you flip it, I get to spend my birthday making sure my heart can handle the stroke-preventer placement later in the year, which is a very good thing. π Working on that flip, π but I'll get there. ππ»
Tomorrow is the gastroenterologist. Whee!
Corey just called, he's on his way. I stopped and got him breaded chicken strips, which he loves on a monster salad of his own making. We picked up chickpeas the other day and I tried roasting them this afternoon with olive oil and some spices. They're kinda like Corn Nuts without the salt. Hopefully Corey will like them. If not, it was a dollar spent to find out one thing we can put in the "Nope" column.
Started watching "Resident Alien" on Netflix, which we have for one more week. Actually laughed out loud more than once during the first two episodes. It was telegraphing its punches toward the end of the second one, hopefully the writing will pick back up.
Later, y'all,

Hello all:
Rebecca-what a great visit you have had! Tears are normal-they help us heal.
Lisa-you descriptions of your medical issues are very entertaining (at least as we read them).
Terri-I missed you were having such a problem with eczema. Staying ahead of it sounds like a most sensible idea.
So implant went ok-didn't really take that long. Get it checked in a couple of weeks to make sure staying as it should. Then a few months after that checked for placement of external head and visit to dentist to get crown made. Process of placing post was not painful (good numbing). It is now throbbing a bit so will take some more ibuprofen.
Was going to go to ladies' group tonight but am still pulling together numbers for meeting with commissioners tomorrow so I think I need to finish that up. I am taking time to finish up exercise and move with an indoor walk. I got out for a mile at lunch but it appears like rain is coming (even though radar doesn't show it. Supposed to have some heavy storms later.
Take care all,

just got back from MIL's and then lunch-
It was beyond craziness over there. We went a little late because we wanted it to warm up(he cuts her hair in the back yard because she doesn't want the mess in the house)-she agreed to all of it last night- this morning she went off on him as soon as we walked in the door because he was late and she was trying to take the garbage out(he told her last night he would do it this morning when it was full)-
The meanness of what she was saying was so bad. Set him off so so much yelling and cussing. Wanting to find help because she can't do everything by herself(he is there twice a day every day, with the exception of this past weekend). The yelling and argueing went of for well over an hour- he was telling me he was going to cancel going to any of the shows-not worth it to him if he has to deal with her when he gets home. As we were leaving, she said, aren't you going to cut my hair(for the hour prior she refused to let him do it-going to call a taxi and go someplace and get it done)-SERIOUSLY!!! So she went downstairs, he had calmed down for the most part and he cut her hair and everything was calm again- totally bi-polar. She actually apologized after for blowing up. She never apologizes -always his fault.
Earlier when I told her it needed to stop, she said well he started it- No, she starts it and he reacts and yells and then they both yell.
I held my tongue for the most part but she kept digging, saying mean things but when she started talking about my son- that was it. I didn't say everything I wanted to and dh thanked me while we had lunch for holding back.
So, at least for now, he will do the shows. He needs the break from her and we can use the money.
We stopped at our favorite Mexican place for lunch. Taco Tuesday-$10 for that whole plate full- 3 chicken, 3 birria, 2 shrimp.

Good evening ladies!
Collette came this morning and it seems I've been running around here ever since. Snowed and rained a little while she was here, but roads were not icy.
Annie - I gave my dogs chews made by Oravet. Recommended and sold by the vet. Didn't really help, perhaps because my dogs were older. Rosie is now on 1 week of Clavamox every 2 months to prevent infections and hopefully keep her from losing any more teeth. She's only 6 so is healthy enough for the cleaning probably this year. I tried the drops in the water for a little while but couldn't tell any difference. Enjoy hearing about the pharmacy tech training. You can do it!
Rebecca.... love love love those photos. Thank you so much for sharing them and the recap of your weekend with the family. It really made my day.
Debbie - good job getting MIL straightened out. If it weren't for you, your DH would lose what's left of his sanity due to her abuse. How much rain are you supposed to get? They are saying 1 to 2 inches, possible mild flooding. Pretty normal for around here. That lunch looks great!
Lisa - glad the scan wasn't too bad. Hope the gastro tomorrow is easy.
Ginny - did you say you were retiring for sure by the end of the year??? Glad that dentist appointment is over, hope the throbbing subsides soon. Ice pack or hot pack might help? I can't recall which, lol. I just remember pain after root canals - mainly the gums and jaw from having my mouth open so long.
Barbara - So glad your car passed inspection and no problems. Life and plans back to normal for you, hooray! I'm not sure how walking would be on dirt trails. I'm so spoiled right now with my house walking and all of the amenities, walking outside doesn't seem that attractive. Unless the teleporter drops me off on some huge grassy UK estate with a castle in the distance. I'd love to walk out there with the sheep.
I'll have it drop Barbie on Shetland while we're in the vicinity.
Michele - you really did it to yourself. Still bleeding? Are you on blood thinners? Glad you got your tetanus shot. When do you head back north? Hope the assessment isn't out of this world, I understand Vince's concern. Glad you got some walking in.
April - thinking of you all day and your son's move to the facility near you. Hoping everything went smoothly. Glad you'll be joining the "Check-In" group (which started out as "Accountability group")
Rosemarie - that grand dog sounds wonderful. I love big happy dogs like labs, so nice to cuddle with.
What you said about your guy friend who died and you were destined to be a widow made me think. I made a couple casual guy friends in this community, great senses of humor, interesting fellas that I thought would be eventually be fun to have a lunch with. One died in a head-on, hit by a druggie driver. What a tragedy, his wife had died a few years earlier from lymphoma and he retired early so he could enjoy life and go fishing with his dog. The other died due to a stroke while driving - hit a tree and luckily not another car. He was a loving grandpa, had been in the Peace Corps and was an amateur anthropologist which just intrigued me immensely. I'm going to stop thinking about lunches with interesting men or someone will label me as some kind of "black widow."
Well, no eggs today. Not a one. The girls have been slowing down. They were great laying thru fall and up until now so it's OK. When I go out at dusk each night to lock their coop door, Gladys and Thelma always come rushing out to say night-night. I give them pats and pick them up and tell them they are good girls. Then I set them down, they shake their feathers, grab a couple beaks full of pellets and walk back up the ramp. I highly recommend the "Rainbow" breed - which I think are mutts bred from barnyard chickens in the south. Also known as "Rainbow Dixie" I think. Highly intelligent. Hybrid vigor.
I know I skipped some of you and will try to catch up tomorrow. Better close for now.

Just reading through the posts.
Only got about 2 inches of snow last night and pretty cold here.
Started decluttering again. Got one bedroom and the closet in the entryway done today so pleased with that. Starting on the kitchen tomorrow. Will tackle the pantry and maybe a couple of drawers if things go well. Ordered a drawer organizer from Amazon today. Will see if it is ok for a kitchen drawer or maybe my dresser drawer. Happy with the progress Iβve made so far.

Machka - Coptic markers are really good. Card makers and scrapbookers use them a lot. I canβt afford them, but I love the price of those ones. I will be ordering them.
We did get some snow Sunday into Monday. Itβs something but not enough yet.
Joy - Quebec is beautiful. I have never been to NFLD or the Territories.
Allie - Iβll pray Tracy has a healthy pregnancy.
Annie - yay on ordering the books. My pharmacy has stools for the pharmacy assistantβs to sit at for when they are serving customers.
I feel for you struggling with your Dad. He sure is a handful.
Rita - Iβm so happy for you that you found your watch.
Lisa - my Walmart had summer clothes this weekend. Itβs pretty funny because we just last night and today received our first really big dump of snow this year. My lawn was showing yesterday morning.
Heather - I thought you gave wonderful answers to the Hoovian.
Vicki - weβve always lived pay to pay too, the only travelling we have done has been local.
My DH had to have a letter from the doctor to have that med approved for diabetes too. He decided after it was approved not to try it though because of the stomach issues it can cause. Heβs already had enough of those.
Barbara - I hope your vehicle troubles are resolved with little expense. They are great when they run well, but such a pain when they donβt.
Rebecca - I am so incredibly happy for you, what a wonderful weekend!
I understand the tears, you worded it so eloquently.
Joy - funny we didnβt get snow last night here.
I had to take the battery charger into my eldest and her DH today, her car wouldnβt start and his needed air in the tire but his air pump broke. He was going to change the tire but the lock but broke. Michaela told me I was βPlan Cβ because daddyβs βPlan Bβ didnβt work. π. She didnβt know what βPlan Aβ was.
Kaitlyn had told me when she saw me on the weekend that their furnace was broken and couldnβt be fixed until Monday. I texted her today to find out if it was fixed. It isnβt, and wonβt be until Friday. Her, Brodey, the dog and all of her plants have moved to Raquelβs for the week.
Of course, itβs cold here this week when they really need it.
I started a new session yesterday, this one is on Mental Health Disorders. Im finding it interesting so far.

Rebecca - So, so, so happy for you that the weekend you have dreamt of for so long went off so well. Seeing the boys all together is wonderful. I also love the pic of grandad and the baby.
My son is off on Thursday to see his dad, who isn't doing too well. Kidneys mainly, but mobility is going down. He's going up to Glasgow by train, but making an overnight work stop in Liverpool, and another working lunch in Glasgow, so the company gets to pay for the trip. My ex lives near Loch Lomond, in a pretty village with a famous gastropub. He is flying back on Sunday. Edie was happy because their mum is taking them out to Fatto a Mano on Sunday to compensate for their dad's absence.
Before we took up the easy option of cruising, mainly in the Arctic, Baltic, and Scandinavia, we travelled with an individually tailored company called Nomadic Thoughts. Went to India twice, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Morocco, Mexico. We had our own driver and stayed in fabulous hotels. Because these are third world countries, they cost less than a cheap B&B in England.
Under my own steam, I have been to, Australia six weeks, Hong Kong, Peru for a month, Mexico a month, (work), ( Kenya (for work and vacation), Denmark (work), Morocco, Italy a good few times, Spain many times, France, (uncountable times, for long periods), Germany, NYC, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Monaco. John has done much more, for work, including Indonesia and Hungary. I've been to Scotland, Wales, Ireland several times.
I've loved each and every one of them. France feels like my second home and I speak French pretty well. I think I was French in another life. India is close to my heart. My father was there during the war.
The ease of cruising suits us now, without the flying, or driving. This year it is Portugal, Spain, France, Gibraltar, Sicily twice, Tunisia, Malta, Menorca, Morocco. Four of those places I haven't been to before!
Still on my bucket list is Greenland and Eastern Canada. I really want to go to Quebec and Montreal. I don't have much of a yearning for the Far East, but Japan is tempting, if I was with a good guide. I would want an insider's track and a business class flight! I'm also tempted by South America again, but I don't think these long flights will happen.
We will see what cruises drop through the letter box next month. The Greenland/Canada one is fearfully expensive. Two cruises worth! But, you only live once! I'm a great believer in following your dreams.

Plants - they grow well here! I'm used to planting something outside ... and staring at a patch of dirt all year wondering what happened. When I selected flowers for my drystream garden, I wanted short flowers, something no taller than about 8 inches. I carefully read the packages, selected several different kinds, planted them. The first year, nothing much came up. I expected that. The second year, I had a whole collection of flowers that were over 2 feet tall!!
I got oregano because I love the scent: https://www.bunnings.com.au/diy-advice/garden/planting-and-growing/how-to-grow-oregano. These ones are not supposed to grow more than 20 cm/ 8 inches. What have I got in the garden? Massive plants nearly 3 feet tall! I love them and I've planted more elsewhere. They'll probably take 2 years to come up.
Music - when my husband was in a coma, I read to him. I had a book about animals I read sometimes. I read from the Bible a few times. And I read my assignments to him. I was working and in university at the time.
As he was starting to come out of the coma, I asked about playing him music. They reluctantly agreed that I could play some music for him, but told me it would have to be very soft music - instrumental or classical. He has a few favourite classical pieces so I put them in the playlist. Then I thought he might enjoy some of the music he used to listen to growing up. He likes ABBA, so I included them. And there were several more pieces ... I picked as many as I could which I knew had been his favourites.
He was barely opening his eyes, hardly focusing, and I put on ABBA. I put the earbud near his ear, and sat close to him. He lay with his eyes closed for a while, then suddenly opened his eyes and looked concerned. Then closed his eyes and rested again for a bit. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes and looked concerned. I put the other ear bud in my ear and listened. He relaxed with his eyes closed when the music was on ... and opened his eyes and looked concerned when the music stopped ... then closed his eyes and relaxed again when the next piece came on. It was one of his early reactions to things going on around him!! An exciting development!!
A week or so later, he started moving his feet to the music.

You could take an medical terminology course like this one. This one looks to be online. Sometimes it helps to take an actual course because you can communicate with others when you're having difficulty.

I've been learning medical terminology since I was young ... used to read my mother's medical texts and for the past 10 years I've been working in health. Some terms still catch me out, but I try to sort them out using this sort of method:

My excitement for the morning (after waking at 4am) is that we had tornado passing through. They are saying it set down south of me (but in my county). No word yet on what damage there may be. Hopefully no injury or animal loss (hitting more in the rural areas). I quickly pulled together a go bag (purse, necessary medication, keys, charger). I hadn't put one together for the spring storms yet since it is still February. Now we have to watch out for possible flooding from the heavy rain. Looks lie worst is over for my immediate area-will get in stretches while keeping an eye on tv weather.

Good morning,
Apparently had an awesome storm (same system as Ginny . I heard nothing, but the cameras caught a lot of lightning. Cold system following. Migraine full force. Too much to do to let it stop me.
Rebecca Love the pictures! I am so happy you have had this time with your sons.
Tracey Rough day for daughters. Glad they are there for each other.
My first reaction this morning when I saw tornado was to check on Ginny . Glad you are safe. Hoping it was minor where it hit.
Deb_23 I do miss my fur babies but am just not ready for more. Keep posting so that we can get to know you. We were all newbies at some point.
We are a well traveled group.
Trash out, laundry, and packing today. Excited to see my family.
Better get day going.
Hugs!
Proud of all the new experiences being tried.
Thankful to call such a well rounded group of ladies my friends.
Make the best choices you can in the moment.

Hi all,
Michigan had a run of crazy warm weather and I thought I would prepare for a summer item. I restore and flip furniture in spare time. I spent some time acquiring furniture to work on. My nephew was great help. I decided to be less good about my diet and exercise based on the furniture moving plan, so I had a week of no progress...unless you count the garage is loaded with things to work on. I refuse to regret the future projects...but wish I had not overestimated the short bits of hard work.
The couch 2 5k plan has done more for shrinking my hips than my waist. All is good, but makes me think I might try to do a little more work on my core. The central strength work will be good for shoving things around in the garage, too.
I really find the warm weather makes me feel hungry and I'm still on a highly restricted diet. I did much better during the colder weather with cups of tea. Now I feel strong urge to get a bit more to eat. To make sure I'm not mindlessly eating I am still attempting to distract and drink more water/tea. I am chalking it up to nice days.
Between now and the end of March I have a mini target of another 18 pounds. It will take a lot of work to achieve. Wish me luck.

The furniture work sounds interesting!
18 pounds in a month is incredibly fast. The recommendation is no more than 2 lbs/week which comes to maybe 10 lbs in a month.
Don't rush the loss ... slow and steady.
All the best!!4 -
Hot humid day today ... and thunderstorms rolling around out there this evening.
I didn't get a lot of walking in today, but that's OK. Perhaps 1.8 km.
But I did manage 17 flights of stairs up ... 20 steps per flight plus landings.
And 21 flights of stairs down.
Yes, there was a lift involved for a little part of that.
I also did not buy anything today.
Now, I feel like I need to use the toilet but the thunder and lightening are quite close at the moment. Hmm ... might have to hold on for a bit.

Good morning ladies!
Lanette thanks! I gave Teddy an original Greenie thing yesterday. They are big for him, but he chewed and ate the whole thing! I was quite surprised, last time he walked away from them. And I got some gel but it says No food thirty minutes before and after. So I haven't tried that yet.
Yesterday I read a bit about laws about prescriptions, and the paper trail they used to use. Interesting. My new books come tonight, so we shall see if the Internet and computers are in the laws yet.
Joy great job on decluttering!
Tracey Yay for stools at the counter! My current life is way too much sitting, but I'm hoping for a balance.
Deb_23 Wow four dogs! That is a pack! I had four tiny ones at one point long ago. What kind are yours?
Heather Quebec is beautiful. I went there back in college with my French class. The snow on the old buildings was gorgeous. And there was an ice festival with sculptures. And the food was marvelous too.
Ana in Michigan Welcome!
Ginny Wow a tornado! Glad you are safe.
Machka thanks for the links. I have a lot to learn and the medical terminology seems to be the logical starting point.
I would have walked away from Debbie's MIL too. I grew up in a very quiet household, and that kind of yelling brings fear to my gut. I might have run to the bathroom!
Kylia that weather front will be here tonight. I have study on my schedule, but I sort of expect a migraine. One of the nasty effects of violent weather, but not the worst.
Today is my last open day before my books come. I will do some laundry and maybe read some fiction. And do more research on classes.
There's one that is self paced, entirely online, that appeals. From Penn Foster. I wouldn't have to drop out if something happened to Teddy or Dad. It takes about a year and is on sale for $1000. I think I should do it. I have until 12 March before the price goes up. The reviews of the material are good, but there's not much administrative help available to the students.
Have a great day my friends! Or if migraine hits, have a quiet healing day.
