Plan for April. Finish my Functional Fitness Tuesdays and Thursdays classes (ends in mid-April), do a Prolon 5-day FMD round (skipped Feb & Mar), start a new Hogwart's 8-week Weight Loss Challenge Term (begins week after this one coming), continue with my Bingo goals spreadsheet, and also update my Conqueror Virtual Challenges, and get my analog focus journals up and going.

    Age 34, female.

Former Gastric Bypass patient here (12 years ago).

    Heavy Weight: 391 | Lowest Weight: 172

    Weight in January 2025: 270

Current Weight (as of this a.m.): 240

    Necessary Goal: 199

    Hopeful, overall, longterm goal: 185

I had a very slow start in January. I wasn't all in yet, because I'd steered so far off path in recent years. It took me until mid/end February to really go all in. The first month was really a soft start, with lots of fails. But I was determined to keep trying. By mid/end February, I'd fail about once per week. By early March, my mind and body fully aligned and nothing can knock me off course now. It was hard, very hard at first. It now just seems easy. I set 5 pound goals for myself. I watch the scale and cheer myself on to the next 5 pound goal. It's work. I cant stare at the scale and wait for that overall final goal to appear. Each 5 pound goal has motivated me to no end. Today was a milestone, as I hit 30 pounds gone, this morning.

That's wonderful, and congratulations, Kristin ! Cementing new habits takes time to work it out, you have to work out the process, and let the process work itself out, too. That made sense in my head, but reading it back is a bit different. LOL oh well. CONGRATULATIONS !

Your efforts are inspiring @Kristin09katie, it is a journey well worth taking. My own fitness journey has also been a number of up and downs. I chose to focus on the present and I am now within 2 pounds of my goal weight. I still have a way to go with my cholesterol and fitness level, but I know that if I continue to work on it, I will achieve my goals.

For April my goal is to continue to maintain my cholesterol friendly diet, to increase my flexibility bioage from 59 years to 55, and get my mileage up to 60kms on my long bicycle rides, with the goal of hitting 100kms by September.

I didn't get to pull any pranks. i was looking for an opening. none… too bad maybe next year.

Yesterday the tree trimmers showed up and we got to work. Of course they had all the cool toys. A bucket to reach the high places and chainsaws, pole saws, and the ole nippers. Don't forget rakes and a trash can.
Five guys all working. They had everything trimmed in 6 hours. I did make them take a break with lunch that I provided. While they were doing the trees I had to shovel off my patio bricks. Crazy amount of dirt and sand that has blown in. Got a lot of leaves raked up. So nice to see everything cleaned up. I had over 18000 steps in for the day.
