    Hi everyone!

I am glad to hear that most of you seem off to a very good and active June! I have been active as well, just not so much with the posting.

On the 1st we went to a wedding, which was wonderful but I had to spend the 2nd recovering from said wedding. I don’t know how @tarun_yadavA does it. I couldn’t get myself out the door ;).

But then things got better running wise.
    3.6. 7.7km treadmill
    4.6. 16.2.km long run
5.6. 10.1km easy run with a 15sec fartlek every km
6.6. 7.1km easy run - I would have done more but kids all had a dentist appointment, so I was glad to squeeze it in.

I started a new training plan. So far, it’s having me shake up my routine more which has added motivation. I’m excited to see if I can handle the harder runs since I train on my own. I’m also supposed to run slower on my easy runs, so there is a plus side. Tomorrow I am doing a bunch of hill repeats and have nominated a steep one for the fun ;).

I enjoyed reading about all of your running plans and adventures thus far in June!

    45.5km/200km for June.

@ContraryMaryMary wow VO2 of 54 is impressive. At 49 you’re still ahead of me. Mine stuck at 45 for a few months now

@chris_in_cal I've never heard of any of those bands, but their names are interesting. Enjoy! Glad the shoes felt good again.

I'm glad you had such a nice run @martaindale .

@Teresa502 Great running and planning that trip sounds trying, but I'm sure you will all enjoy it once you get there. It sounds like fun. Good job sticking it out today when you were struggling.

Great running and gardening @ContraryMaryMary . I'm with you in adding flat miles instead of hilly ones. I'm glad you are getting back on track with your running.

Glad you got out for a run @mari333a . Those soles don't look too bad. Love the new shoes.

Nice running @Laurz9191 . Sounds like you're enjoying your training plan.

Oh no @daria0919 . I hope rest and ice is all it needs and it feels better soon.

Great running @henridw2095 . Love the shoe porn. I hope they work out for you.

    June Goal: 215 Miles

    6/2: 11.02 miles
    6/3: 3.15 miles
    6/4: 6.26 miles
    6/5: 1.10 miles
    6/6: 6.27 miles

    27.8/125 miles completed for June

I almost missed Global Running Day. I decided to take today as my rest day. I needed to go by and have some blood work done and didn't want to run before having my coffee so I just did yoga this morning. Then this evening I was looking at Facebook and realized it was Global Running Day. So even though I was about to start getting ready for bed I got out and ran 1 mile. It wasn't a bad run, just short. It was hot and it was dark. I do prefer running in the morning. "Dusk" dark feels different to me than "pre-dawn" dark.

I guess I never posted this yesterday. I guess I will add today's post here:

I had a great run this morning. It was 72°F, dew point 64° and 74% humidity and 7 mph winds. It was so much more pleasant than the last few days. I ran 6.25 miles and felt like I could run forever.

    @daria0919 I hope the knee isn't serious.

@quilteryoyo I hope your fingers heal quickly.

    @henridw2095 Nice shoes!

@chris_in_cal Sounds like a fun music festival.

(there was a lot of running back then, complete widrills, and speed work, and ‘easy’ two-hour runs).
My 2019...ah memories. We're doing great.

    Nice running @kgirlhart .

You can do it @chris_in_cal ! I'm pulling for you.

    Thanks @tarun_yadavA . Great running.

Nice hill repeats @Laurz9191 ! Glad the slug count is down.

Nice run @andja87 . My treadmill has helped me get in running/walking when I wouldn't have otherwise.
