i am wearing a size small shirt today. i am also wearing a pair of pants that my bf's former fwb that he is still friend's with gave me because "i'll never be that small, you might" -her words about her self. no i don't like her so knowing i got into these today....makes me happy. (note....i once worse size 32....5X)
I have not gone over my calories in a long time.
I have gotten up to get on my treadmill every day before work this week.....that's at 5AM and then i got back on it again before bed.
I was told by 3 separate people this week that i'm getting really tiny.
I am freaking thrilled with allllllllllllllllllllll of this lol. on the scale side.....yeah i lost a few lbs this week too. 2.8lbs till i can say i lost 200lbs. 22.8lbs till final goal.                     :happy:0 -
My face looks smaller than last week when I look in the mirror. Love that feeling.0

Went biking with my husband. I asked him to take a route up a hill that I could not climb in the past without getting off my bike. (TBH, that was when I was actually at "normal" weight but out of shape). Even though I'm 50 lbs heavier than I was then, I could ride up that hill with minimal effort. Imagine what I'll do when I go up 50 lbs lighter AND in shape.0

I have 2 NSV that I've been bragging about.
1. I was able to do some jogging this week. It wasn't a lot but I haven't jogged since I was in high school and I was sure that I couldn't do more than 5 seconds without passing out. I've been jogging everyday this week and I am getting stronger each day. I love it.
2. The jeans what were super tight about a month ago fit perfectly now. They even show off my butt, and I have been working hard to get that right and tight..:bigsmile:0 -
Making my 3rd trip to donate cloths that no longer fit but were in good condition to the Salvation Army. When I started I wore size 56 waist pants and am now in a size 36. I wore size 4XL shirts and now wear XL and some Large.0

When I had surgery on my hand ,this past week I was taken to the room they were doing the operation in, When I walked into the room I was happy to see there was a big wide chair. Right in the middle, like a throne all by it's self the type you like too see, large enough for comfort. I have filled chairs this size before,
I sat down with confidents , the Doctor comes in greets me and gets his items he needs and to my horror  :noway: asks me to scoot over, he wants to do the surgery on the chair too.
I slide over ever so gently watching the edge , I know i'm going to fall off of it or at the very least hang over awkwardly .
NSV not only did I not fall off I didn't even hang over at all. There was plenty room for my hand too. Laying flat with tips pointing out to the edge, snap. I still see that chair, it was a throne of days long gone0 -
It was exactly 5 weeks ago today that I decided to get off my big lazy butt and begin to move it in conjunction with eating better. So 5 weeks ago I was barely able to jog 1/2 way up my street. We live on a corner. Each way it's about .7 miles to the end of the road. I've been Jogging/walking trying to get into running again for the millionth time. Well, today, for the first time I ran with out walking AT ALL! For 33 minutes straight up and down one street, down the other and 1/2 way back up it for 2.5 miles. I averaged about a 13 min mile, not fast, but major progress from 5 weeks ago. Maybe, just maybe, I can get into this running thing after all :-)0

I have two!
A pair of pants that were way too tight on me a couple months ago, now fit me perfectly!!!
This one is weird.... but my cat is 13lbs.... she's a hefty bugger! Anyways, I looked at her today and realized that I had lost 13lbs exactly! So, I picked her up and was so excited about how heavy she was....because that's the amount of weight I've lost! (stupid I know, but it was a tangible measurement.) I thought 13lbs wasn't a lot of weight... but once I picked up my cat..... that's not too bad!0 -

Surgery in a chair?? And I thought I was the only one. One of my 5 surgeries to my right knee was done in a chair but not the total knee replacement Great feeling victory !0 -
I get a lot of looks now. Girls actually look up and down my body. I didn't even know they did that. I thought only men were that obvious.0
-
my pants are looser and I fit comfortably in my smallest bra now.0

This may sound silly, but my NSV was being able to walk 2 miles. When I first started, my energy level was non-existant, and any walking exhausted me. I'm started to see a real improvement in energy and strength.0

Last week, I put a bag of Cheetos in my cart. After I got everything on my list, I doubled back across the store and put the Cheetos back because I realized I had a cart filled with plenty of other things that would nourish me and not make me feel gross.
Drying off after a shower the other day, I noticed for the first time how toned my back is starting to get.
Today I wore a pair of Gap trouser cut jeans that haven't fit me in at least a year and a half!0 -
I have been boxing since Feb 2012. I only go once a week typically, so my learning process and development is slower than some of the otherswho go more regularly . The original instructor left about a year ago, and he returned for a visit this week.
When he saw me, he was clearly surprised by the difference in me. He told me that I was looking really great and more importantly he was totally shocked by the strength and power I had developed while he was away.
He told me that I had one heluva solid hit, and that it was almost frightening.
That totally made my day. :happy:0 -
Biked 29 mi in high heat/humidity with a headwind on Tuesday. My bike is a tank. When I got home, I didn't feel as beat up as I thought I would. :bigsmile:0

I was size 16 and wanted to lose some weight to just be able to zip up size 16 pants. I was pretty desperate.
Last week I comfortably zipped up size 3 skirt. Couldn't believe it. 14 months later. Pls, don't expect quick weight loss. Give it time.0 -
ok.
this has been fun to read, so I am going to add mine-
I have 2:
1- The towel at the gym, you know the one I am talking about- the itty bitty white one... ? I can close it around me!!
2- my smallest pants, are too big.

MY NSV this week was resisting buying a candy bar at assorted check-out counters. I wanted it but it wasn't worth the calories to me.0

I just ran 10 minutes without stopping - the longest I've ran continuously since I was 20! (I'm nearly 31 now.) I'm doing c25k, and am on week 5, day 2. The plan was to run two 8-minute intervals, with walking in between. But, my last workout was shorter intervals and I was struggling and today was HOT, so I didn't think I'd be able to do it. But, after interval one, I felt pretty good. Two minutes into interval two, I accidentally reset my timer, and decided to just go with the new time - meaning that I'd run 10 minutes instead of 8. I'm kinda on top of the world.0

1. Told myself no excuses twice this week and got my *kitten* up to exercise
2. Went to a Zumba class for the first time in a few months. The women did not recognize me, so they didn't say hi. They eventually approached me after the instructor said my name and told me they couldn't tell if it was me or not. And that I looked like I lost a lot of weight and look great!0 -
I am starting to notice some definition in my biceps and in my legs!! :)0
-
I had to buy smaller belts this week :bigsmile:0
-
I went out for a road ride on my bike today in really strong winds. I would normally look out the window and make excuses not to go, but I did it and enjoyed it. Shattered now though! But worth it.0

My biggest nsv is that my knees no longer hurt when I'm on my feet all day/night for work. I have arthritis in both knees but worse in my left one. Now I can walk 2-3 miles even after working all day/night. (work hours are 12:30am-10am) Couldn't even think of doing that before.0
-
I really wanted ice cream for dessert..but had blueberries instead0
-
About 1 month after I began dieting, I bought a new belt in a smaller size. I am now having to punch new holes in it to make it hold up my pants )0
-
I tried on my 'goal' pants.. They were from when I was 15 and weighed 120. I tried them on, weighing 130, and omg they fit! I'm afraid they will be too BIG when i hit my goal!0
-
I can take a picture of myself and not feel compelled to do the "skinny arm" pose...and my arm still looks skinny--well, actually muscular. Which is BETTER.0
