    Hello,
    I have been struggling to reach my goal weight. I am trying to build some muscle so I know that I will see my weight fluctuate (which is just annoying but I get it). My goal overall is to tone up. I just had a small foot procedure so I can’t exercise yet, however I am motivated to start. Good luck to all. Start date 7/19.

    *I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and just get one entrée, no sides.
    *I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days
    *I've been trying to eat breakfast most days, but haven't noticed any differences.
    *Also, I have been eating 2 bean or legume dishes per week and not noticed any difference in my weight. This has recently morphed into eating 1-2 tofu meals per week which I do think took off a pound or 2!

    JULY 1: 145
    JULY 5: 145
    *5 days into my "Dry July". I am pretty careful about sticking to recommended 1-2 per day and no more than 5 per week so it'll be interesting,for me, to see if I notice any differences!

    JULY20: 146
    "Dry July" is not helping any because I bought a fiesta pack of Jaritos and have been splitting one with my daughter almost every day or having some other cold, sugary drink!🌞😅

    Trying to figure out what small changes I can make to drop these last 10 pounds without worrying over every calorie. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.

    Hi All,
    Can I join you for this summer?
    I'm a very busy mom of five; 5'2" tall. I started at about 160 lbs after my last baby 4 years ago, and reached my goal weight last February I think. I maintained until recently. Over the past couple months I've started slacking off and eating more, and I've steadily gained; and it will continue if I don't get back on track now. Some good accountability would really help for me to not get derailed, and to get me back to where I'd like to be. I'd like to see where I am at the end of September.

    YOUR CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 121.0 (My ultimate goal weight, I think. My original UGW was 124-125, but I was around 120-122 for a little while and it was nice. So I'll shoot for that. If it's just unrealistic, I'll bump it up a bit.)

    07/15-189.4-(Trend Weight: 188.6)- No progress whatsoever. In fact, my trend weight is going through the roof. My DD and DGS have been staying with me 4 days per week. She is the size Triple Zero that literally carries around totes (yes, plural) of multiple snack foods. She shares way too much. Like Joyce Meyer once said, I need a “backbone” not a “wishbone”. So I’ve got to stop wishing that I can get away with eating bad stuff and start saying NO to it. I have a good plan, I just need to stick to it no matter who is around or what they are eating!!!! Clearly I don’t have her youthful metabolism.

    07/22-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- Yesterday was out-of-control with the snacking. I really paid attention and portion control does seem to be the biggest issue. I continue to eat “approved” and healthy foods, but one thing right after another. I don’t need one each of ALL the snacks. Just pick one Donna and be satisfied!!!! I am hungry at meal times but do well at home for my meals. At snack time, it’s nothing short of ridiculous and I’m usually not even very hungry. Just cravings!!! I mean, I’m glad I LOVE my healthy choices but why so many, why so much? No wonder Dr. Nowzaradan makes his patients see a psychologist. Too bad we don’t have one within 100 miles of my home. I’ll just keep reading my health and weight loss books and being thankful for all of you, my support group!
