    June was a tough month. I felt off track and over the last couple of weeks, I was eating and exercising in maintenance. I'm really pushing to get back on track in July. I have a vacation coming up at the end of August and hope to finally get back in the 100 club. It's been a while!

    My name is Donna. I am 64 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5โ€™ 5โ€ tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.


    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (Iโ€™ll know it when I get there!)

    Start Weight (from June 30th ): 187.0

    Goal Weight: 183.0 (4 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Final Weight: 188.4

    Weight lost/gained this month: 1.4 lbs Gained





    Weight in blue makes me blue because itโ€™s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itโ€™s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    07/28-189.2-(Trend Weight: 189.5)- Its been a horrible week weight-wise. A little travel and a lot of lack of willpower at home. Something needs to change. Itโ€™s something in my mentality. Iโ€™m burned out I think and Iโ€™ve got to figure this out. More travel tomorrow, several hours each way to medical appointment. Dinner will be out. That just doesnโ€™t help although honestly Iโ€™m looking forward to it. This year I have lost some weight in Jan, Feb and May. The other 4 months have been Epic Fails. I know I can do better. I also know that itโ€™s not the occasional travels, outing or occasions that are getting me. Itโ€™s my daily habits at home. Usually those are spot on and easily make up for the social days. Not lately! Iโ€™ve got to get back in the groove. My final weigh-in will be in 3 days on the last day of July for a full accounting of the month.

    07/31-188.4-(Trend Weight: 190.3)- Iโ€™ve started to turn it back around but am out of time for this month. I guess Iโ€™ll have to start August chasing my own tail. Eventually Iโ€™ll catch up to my starting weight and hopefully surpass it. Great job to everyone for showing up and working so hard on those changes. All good paths lead to success.     07/29-189.4-(Trend Weight: 189.7)- My weight is the same as my last actual weigh-in but my trend weight has went way up due to the wild swings and fluctuations in my weight over the past couple of weeks. I attribute most of that to my binge eating disorder. Iโ€™ve got to come up with something that will help. Due to Julyโ€™s increases, I feel like Iโ€™ll just be chasing my own tail in August. I just want to hang my head and cry. All my clothes feel tight. I weighed 12 pounds less in March.

    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

    Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
    January 1, 2024 Weight: 150.0 (10-day average 146.8)
    June 30 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 155.8 (10-day average 154.2)
    July goal: Get back to lower end of maintenance weight range
    Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)

    I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

    June 30: 155.8 (10-day average 154.2)
    July 6: 155.8 (10-day average 155.6)
    July 13 16: 153.2 (10-day average 154.5) - away from scale on Saturday
    July 20: 151.0 (10-day average 152.9)
    July 27: 151.6 (10-day average 151.7)
    August 3: 154.6 (10-day average 153.2)

    Total loss for July: Only one pound. At least there's that. June wasn't so good. I'm slowly turning it around. VERY slowly.

    I am down 2.5 pounds for the year. I need to triple that.
