    My name is Donna. I am 64 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    09/19-194.6-(Trend Weight: 192.6)- Lots more travel this past week which always means too much sitting, no time for regular exercise and plenty of restaurant food. It never bodes well for the scale (or the waistline). More travel tomorrow then things should settle down a bit (I hope). It’s so much easier when I’m home in my “safe zone”.

    09/26-191.8-(Trend Weight: 193.5)- Boy is it ever nice to finally type my weight in pink! I really shot up there on the scale for the first day or two this week (after some travel), as you can tell by my trend weight. But I’ve really been working hard to get it back down since. Being mainly at home helps. I didn’t make the best choices yesterday-calories were just under but carbs were through the roof. I skipped dinner because of my choices during the day and it did help to dodge a gain. I hope I won’t be that stupid today. I have lots of healthy food in the house to choose from, no excuses! Have a great week everyone.

    TGIF! I have one more week then I get a week off! But this next week will be busy with choir concert things so just keeping on with my baby steps.

    Good this week: less Starbucks achieved! I had breakfast at home on Sunday, so only 6 days of Starbucks! 😆 better is better, right? I also food prepped my lunches and cooked dinner all week. No fast food slips! It was a close thing a couple times…. Finally broke through my two weeks plateau today!

    Things to work on: obviously, still too much Starbucks, but it’s not the end of the world. I didn’t get any dedicated activity in since there was no derby. Fixing the bike will have to wait for fall break. Been on a plateau for a couple weeks, been stuck around 272-273 and I literally just broke through it today. It’ll be tough to keep that downward trend going next week, but I’m hoping I can manage it.

    Goals for this week: at least 2 days of non Starbucks breakfast, including a work day. Food prep enough this weekend that I can get through concert week with only dining out for our monthly restaurant fundraiser and maybe after the concert. Derby Sunday.

    @deepwoodslady i love your color coding for gains and losses as well as crossing off the numbers. I’ve thought about stealing that idea, but I have a hard enough time getting my weekly posts done 😂 I might cross the numbers off on my fridge though… 🤔

    It’s so hard to eat well while traveling. My go to for dining out has become chicken wings because at least there’s little to no carbs! I might add in a side salad so i get some plants 😂 That being said, I’m no saint, I definitely cave to the carbs too. No sense in beating yourself up over it, we just keep on doing the best we can and sometimes that means getting the small blizzard at Dairy Queen instead of the medium! Hopefully more often it’s actually the healthier food options though. Keep at it 🙂

    Fantastic, Bullieholiday! Despite any temporary setbacks, it's amazing the progress you've made to date!

    Wish I could say the same. My weight actually went up a pound, to 157.6.

    That chicken scampi meal sounds delicious and healthy.

    By the way, my "fantasy" derby name is "Eva Destruction", get it? (You might be too young...1965 song reference.)
