July Goal - Below 200, ideally 197 would be great

    March- Beginning weight 212
    End of June weight -200.8

    July 1-200.5- rest day
July 2-198.7 40 mins cardio, upper body strength
    July 3 -198.6
    July 4=199.3
July 5- DNW - 12 hrs of car travel for a quick but long trip trip to hubby's home town
July 6- DNW but walked 2.25 miles
July 7- DNW 12 hrs car travel to get home again
    July 8th- 198.8
    July 9-199.6
    July 10- 198.6
    July 11-198.6
    July 12- 198.7
    July 13- DNW
    July 14- 196.9
    July 15- 196.1
    July 16-196.2
    July 17- 196.7
    July 18- 195.1
    July 19-194.9

Well yesterday I feel like it was sort of a fail on the workout and food front. Super busy day, ate breakfast late, ate lunch late and then evening events /things to do caused me to not eat dinner, it was hot out and I wasn't feeling much of an appetite. I did track and did manage to get 100 g of protein in two meals which I feel ok about.. Drank a ton of water and went to bed around 9 pm.

Thinking about going for a b12 injection today as I have recently learned that is helpful when on a GLP-1 medication . ALot of the sluggishness I am feeling is a combination of the medication side effect along with struggling to eat up to my normal kcal of 1500 . Given my lifestyle is a bit on the active side right now its a double edged sword.

I am a content creator on YouTube. One day, a viewer sent me a screenshot of me in one of the videos, from a very unflattering angle that made me look so fat.

My scale has been out of battery for a while, so I swapped in a fresh set and weighed in, only to get a shock of my life. Booked a dexascan to find out actual body fat content and wished I didn't find out... I put in a 100 day program for myself to lose the weight. So today is day 20. 20% through, 1/5 through the program.

For context, I am 180cm in height, Male, Asian.

    Jul 1 - 98.6KG / 217LB
    Jul 3 - 97.5KG / 215LB
    Jul 5 - 97.1KG / 214LB
    Jul 6 - 96.7KG / 213LB
    Jul 7 - 96.2KG / 212LB
    Jul 9 - 95.3KG / 210LB
    Jul 12 - 95.2KG / 209LB
    Jul 17 - 94.4KG / 208LB
    Jul 18 - 94.2KG / 207LB
    Jul 20 - 93.5KG / 206LB

    Upcoming goals:
    July 30 - 92.1KG / 203LB (Day 30)
    Aug 9 - 90.7KG / 200LB (Day 40)
    Aug 19 - 89.3KG / 196LB (Day 50 - Halfway Mark)
    Sep 5 - 87.2KG / 192LB (-25lbs)
    Sep 13 - 85.8KG / 189LB (Day 75 - 3/4 through)
Oct 8 - 82.3KG / 181LB (100 day program done) <- This is my weight during triathlon days. That's why 100 days program
    Oct 28 - 79.5KG / 175LB (Goal Weight)
November onwards - Either maintenance from there or cut body fat to 15%, depending on the Dexascan result on 1st November

I don't know how reliable the scale is today, I had very little to eat yesterday. Also I got myself a fitness tracker watch. I'm not ready for a workout routine, but at least it'll get me moving more. I can't wait for my 4 month old to have a steady night routine so I can have a few minutes for myself.

Welcome to the thread @Enber74 - impressive progress this month, and I like your milestone goals. Wishing you continued success.

@HappyDonkey75 I'm sorry the knee issues continue - As if the injection will help, or is it going to mask the pain. I just say that because you likely don't want to not feel pain, and push through it, and end up doing damage that requires taking time off it again, or worse, needs more surgery. Maybe they'll have more info once you tell them what's going on at your next appt. Hang in there. I hope the b12 option can help you feel better too.

@SofaKween I'm jealous of those kids too! I don't think I have the climbing gene. :D

@AuroraUwU0 I hope the fitness tracker watch adds some benefits to all you're doing. Hang in there, you know babies grow quick; the sleep schedule will eventually even out, etc.

Hello to everyone else -- I usually try to tag everyone, but I'm fighting a few things today. I hope you're all having a decent start to the weekend, and showing yourselves some patience too. Have a great Saturday.

@AuroraUwU0, @ManifestingToday, thanks for the welcome. Been on MyFitnessPal for the better part of the decade but have never actually posted anything. This is for accountability.

I just turned 50 this year and I remember being very happy with my body when I was at 180 Lbs. Just that over the years, it got harder to keep the weight down. My goal is really to enjoy my 50s with a body that I am happy with. Dropping 40Lbs isn't hard. I am just making it hard for myself trying to do it before the year ends. Just so that I can say I got my best body ever when I turned 50.

Female – wrong side of 65; wrong side of average height!

    Previous Months:-
    March SW – 60.5kg
    31 March EW – 58.8kg
    30 April EW – 57.0kg

    30 June EW - 54.2kg

    March Start Waist – 83cm
    31 March End Waist – 81cm
    30 April End Waist – 77.5cm
    31 May End Waist – 76.0cm
    30 June End Waist – 75.0cm

    UGW - 53kg

    Mini Goals June:
    1. Post here every day for the rest of the month.
    2. Lose 0.5kg in weight (June end weight was 54.2kg, so goal is 53.7kg)

    12 July – 53.2kg
    13 July – 53.4kg

    19 July – 53.4kg
    20 July – 54.0kg
    21 July – 54.1kg

Weights yesterday didn’t happen due to transport suspension so am heading off today instead and hoping all is resolved. Weight gain is combination of wine and feeling incredibly hungry so calorie counting went out of the window. Will be back on it. Tomorrow.

I need more accountability with the trampoline and this group check in is helping already. So from now on I’ll put a T on the days where I get some trampoline time. Aiming to see 5 more of those before we switch to a new month.

@Enber74 I like your approach to this, make your 50s your best decade ever.

    Where did the weekend go?
July Goal - Below 200, ideally 197 would be great

    March- Beginning weight 212
    End of June weight -200.8

    July 1-200.5- rest day
July 2-198.7 40 mins cardio, upper body strength
    July 3 -198.6
    July 4=199.3
July 5- DNW - 12 hrs of car travel for a quick but long trip trip to hubby's home town
July 6- DNW but walked 2.25 miles
July 7- DNW 12 hrs car travel to get home again
    July 8th- 198.8
    July 9-199.6
    July 10- 198.6

    July 12- 198.
    July 13- DNW
    July 14- 196.9
    July 15- 196.1
    July 16-196.2
    July 17- 196.7
    July 18- 195.1
    July 19-194.9
    July20-DNW
    July 21= 195.1

I managed to get meal prepping done for the week today. I have 4 dinners made up and ready to go in the fridge. This is my first time attempting that but it's such a good feeling to not worry about my dinners for the week.

Hoping the scale drops a bit more tomorrow. I am not seeing significant drops on the GLP-1 meds like I know alot of people have but I think its maybe safer this way. I just want to see consistent 2-3 lbs a month would be nice.

@ManifestingToday - I ended up doing a different vitamin injection, called Lipolean - It has some B12 in it but it has a bunch of other things taht are supposed to support your liver as well as help effectively burn fat and use energy. These include methionine, choline, levocarnitine, chromium picolinate, inositol, and Vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12. I didn't see a big difference but I did feel slightly less lethargic the two days after.
