    9/8-187- well this is super annoying. Could one ice cream cone and 300 calories over my daily goal for the first time in weeks really do this??

    Going to be a major sweat fest workout today to see if that will help get back down.. Grrrr.

    I put on a workout top that I haven’t worn in a couple of years and it was so loose! And long! It’s funny how things get longer because they have less ground to cover haha. I felt great, but then I went to a Pilates class and saw myself in a mirror and compared myself to the other people in the class and felt fat all over again. Boooo. But I’m over it now.

    @HappyDonkey75 ok so you experience the same thing with alcohol? Scale goes up even when it’s within calorie budget? Nice to know I’m not the only one. I might look into low calorie non alcoholic wines. I just love a glass of wine with the radio on when I’m cooking.

    Hi Everyone,

    I’m new. Not even sure how to post. Hope this goes ok.

    I had a knee replacement less than two weeks ago. My goal is to:

    Maintain my weight
    Do physical therapy religiously
    Log everything I eat every day.

    My starting weight is 179.2 however, there is a lot going on with my body right now. Swelling and taking medications until EOM that I usually don’t take. So I’m not sure how accurate that weight is. I won’t focus to much on it.

    I’m looking forward to getting know all of you😊

    Well after reading a bunch of reviews I bought some non alcoholic red wine. It wasn’t great. But it definitely satisfied the craving for the little ritual of a glass of wine with the radio on while cooking. And at 45 calories for an 8 ounce glass I’m overall pretty happy with it.

    @dannytrees1 - BBQ.. well worth the uptick.. :)

    @canadamarie - nope your not the only one on the wine thing causing an increase even when its within the calorie allotment. I haven't bothered with the nonalchoholic wine. So far my desire for wine hasn't really been an issue but I am also on GLP meds so that has killed alot of cravings for me. Unfortunately I am still not a fast "loser" like so many on the meds.

    Finally got the motivation to join this amazing thread after spending the last week reading the August one.

    GOAL FOR END OF SEPTEMBER: 182 lbs
    NEW GOAL FOR END OF SEPT: 175 lbs
    GOAL FOR END OF DECEMBER:160 lbs

    1st Sept: 187 lbs
    2nd Sept: 185.5 (water weight I’m sure)
    3rd Sept 184.5 lbs
    4th Sept: 184 lbs (I think this is the last of the water weight now)
    5th Sept 182.8 lbs
    6th Sept: 182!!! 5 lbs down and have met my initial goal for the month! I have been eating clean and drinking 2 litres of water every day and I have noticed that I’m also not bloated anymore. I am excited to continue the month and see if I can beat 175 lbs 🀞🏼
    7th Sept: 181.2 am sooo close to breaking into the 170’s!!!
    8th Sept: 181 I had a really late lunch/dinner yesterday and I think that has impacted the scales this morning. On the positive side I hit 10,000 steps yesterday so I’m really happy about that. I have lunch out today meeting friends at a restaurant so am expecting that to show on the scales tomorrow.
    9th Sept: 182 lbs - as expected post resturant weight gain. I’m not worried as I now it will even out throughout the week.

    I haven't been actively trying hard. Just keeping up with a slightly lighter routine but feeling tired anyway. The thing is, my weight has stagnated for about 10 days now. Since the beginning of the month till now, I have not moved the needle. I did want to slow down but didn't think it was going to stop. Well, I just realised that the next mini goal is 85.8KG and I am like 2 days away! I guess I will try harder the next 48 hours so as not to slip this goal!
