    I joined this group in Rnd 245 on Dec 18 2023, when I realized I was eating my way through the holidays; I finally got on the scale and was hovering just under 150 lbs. It took about 4 months to reach my goal weight of 125. Sounds great, but I’ve done this before, which is why I’m still here.
    It’s not just about losing, it’s about changing the habits of a lifetime that keep me stuck in self-defeating cycles with food.

    9/24: holding between 125 and 126. Cool weather has arrived; fall/winter clothes are out and culled through, donation bags in the car and a couple new things in the closet for motivation. Last year was the winter of stretch pants and oversized sweaters, which are very dangerous for what they hide :o

    @Blueberries59: welcome and thanks for the positive feedback, though I'm still working towards "contentment" as I'm a chronic see-sawer- maybe contentment will come when I hold for a few years!

      I think the scale went up because I had fast food for breakfast and lunch. Even though I maneuvered everything to be “keto-friendly”, my sodium intake was super high I changed my carb goal to a percentage rather then a set limit
