I have belonged to the 5% Challenges for quite a while. In doing so I've lost 108 lbs.
Struggling now with heart issues and chronic kidney disease, I need to maintain what I've lost. Often the hardest part of weight loss, isn't the actual weight loss, but to not gain it back! Many of us on Myfitnesspal are familiar with yoyo dieting. Why? They "dieted" and didn't learn the steps to take care of the issues which creep back up on us and throw us into the regaining. The 5% Challenge helps to avoid that happening.

Are you looking forward to having a successful weight loss in 2025? We have openings now for the 2025 Winter 5% Challenge. BUT does that mean you'll join now and have to wait until January to start to on your personal journey? NO!!! Join us now, soon we'll be posting pre challenge activities. These will help you to have a plan written down with help from the 2025 Winter 5% Challenge!! You'll be ready for a successful 8 weeks.

This team is very active. It works because it is active. We ask you post your exercise and a healthy habit of the week at least once a week, preferably 2 times for those who can (not all can, we get that! Many of you have a family, work, are care givers and more) but some can and do post daily (that can take as short as 3 or 4 minutes or more depending on what you wish there are other feeds which some enjoy, others do not have enough time). The healthy habits help us to not "diet" ("DIE"T a true killjoy to not enjoying food!! I am a true foodie, I still love food, but thanks to the healthy habits I've learned portion control, adding in other foods with my favorites to lose the weight) rather to live a lifestyle of healthiness for life!!

Does this sound as good to you as it did me? COME and JOIN us on the 2025 Winter 5% Challenge!! Here's the official description:
