    Morning all.

    Got in 5.5M at 10'02.

May take a rest day tomorrow! Early start to go to Manchester tomorrow for the cricket 🏏 🍻.

@Laurz9191 oooohhh NYC! Niiiiice. I didn't get to do the Central Park run either (I'm sure it's safe in the day time!). Oooohhh food.

Recommend Nonna's Too in the West Village for pizza and subs! All the heart-attack in a bite, loaded with cheese and vodka sauce type Italian American stuff 🤤

Oh, and Crumbl cookies. TikTok hype. Schmacmery's cookies are much much better.

Sounds like you are doing great @CMorning99 . I didn't know that you had gotten a job after retiring. Without guidance, maybe you can make it to be what you want it to be. I hope you get approval to wear your Oura ring soon. Sounds like a great leg day workout.

@WarmJellyfish You are doing great. I don't worry about how I breath, as long as I am, I'm good. LOL

Enjoy the rest of your vacation @Laurz9191 . Great running. I'm glad that your 10 year old is going with you.

@yirara Nice run. I hope you got out between the storms.

You do have great views @angf0679 .

You did great @John772016 . Hahaha about the flaming orange shorts. Glad calmer colors made for a more controlled run. 😉 I hope it cools down a bit soon.

I agree with you @SummerSkier about taking a couple days slower again. You don't want to make it worse again.

    Beautiful @ContraryMaryMary .

You are doing great @kgirlhart . Maybe you could find a Hal Higdon plan that gives you more mileage. I'm impressed with your VO2 max.

For everyone I didn't mention, you are doing great with your runs.

@CMorning99 I get you on just wanting to "coast," but at least they have confidence that you can do this job. That's nice. Good luck with it.

    You're doing great @yirara .

Congratulations on such a great run @ContraryMaryMary . Sorry about the technical glitch. I had that happen with my mile PB once. It's irritating.

I didn't post yesterday. I ran 6 miles. I got up a little late and didn't really have much time. It was a slow run. Today I am taking a rest day and then hoping for a nice long run tomorrow. It has been pretty hot this week, so how far I go will probably depend on when I get up.

@quilteryoyo I hope you get some rest snd get your energy back. As far as the Hal Higdon plan goes, I thought I entered in as an intermediate plan, but it doesn't seem intermediate to me. I like to run on weekdays for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. And on Sunday I try for about 2 hours. That usually ends up being about 6 miles on the weekdays and 10-11 on Sundays.

@CMorning99 I will have to look into the Hanson plan. I think @martaindale has used that one too.

Thanks @SummerSkier They chose a bad time to resurface your tennis courts, but I agree that you probably just need to give your foot a bit more rest. You put a lot of stress with all the stop and go's in tennis.

Way to hang in there and get it done @angf0679 .

Thanks @kgirlhart . You are doing great. I hope you get up in time for relatively cool temperatures. Sometimes those plans don't make a lot of since when you are already running a lot. Maybe see what the advanced plan looks like.

@ContraryMaryMary Our minds are such a big part of our running experience. You did great.

Way to get it done @tarun_yadavA .

Thanks @SummerSkier . You don't have to shut up. LOL You know we all like a little whine now and then. I do hope your foot gets back to normal soon.

    You're doing great @WarmJellyfish .

    You did great @yirara .

@SummerSkier - If it hurts to walk a mile & hurts to run a mile, at least the hurt for the run will be over quicker - that's my logic anyway 🤪

Congratulations on your Baptism ceremony @quilteryoyo!

    Nice runs everyone!
Posting 3 days, but none were runs, so really just catching up & liking or hugging posts.

Pretty sure I'm going to totally miss my target this month & since my nerve pain seems to be responding well to the physio I'm doing, thought I'd try a stationary bike ride of 40km today and see how it responds….🤞fingers crossed for tomorrow🤞…..

Thanks @John772016 . I'm glad you finally made Garmin happy. 😉 I'm also going to totally miss my goal this month, but that's okay. At least we tried. Glad your nerve pain is getting better too.

Sounds like you did great @kgirlhart . Sometimes heat wins.

You are doing great and getting so much faster @chris_in_cal .

Nice way to start out a Monday @tarun_yadavA .

I had planned to get up and run early, but mom and I think we can mow her yard pretty soon, so that is priority….to get it done before it gets too hot. So, we'll see how much energy I have left after we finish.

    Hey @CMorning99

Oura ring is still slowly calibrating. It says I got good sleep all weekend but I was in the "stressed" mode pretty much all day and my HRV was in the mid 30's…which from reading, is the "stressed" end.

My new Garmin is just coming around to giving me an HRV score.

<humble brag> it says 40 and calls that excellent.

All you long time HRV score tracking people…does it really change much with being more or less fit? In theory I'd think it would, but do any of you actually see your HRV change as you are going into and out of good condition?

@chris_in_cal I just read this input from Reddit about HRV. Seems it is a totally a personal range that is influenced by physical stress as well as environmental stimuli (Music, Stimulants, Anxiety)
