Increase in size

I'm having mobility problems which means I am unable to manage my weight. I have gone up from last year at 69kg to now 75kg. I'm determined to lose the weight so that's why I have joined and to meet other people to see how they cope.

Good news (I think): Weight management is IME mostly about the eating side of the equation.

Exercise is good for a body, sure, but when it comes to weight loss, at most it lets us eat a few more calories while losing at the same sensibly moderate pace. It's for sure not essential. I lost around 23kg without particularly increasing exercise I'd been doing for a dozen years while staying obese.

I see you tagged "vegetarian". I'm also vegetarian. I don't do intermittent fasting, though. Which tactics are best for a person is pretty individual, I think. People seem to succeed - or not succeed - here with a variety of eating styles. I think the key thing is finding our own easiest/best personal approach.

    Best wishes for success!
