08/12-182.6 ❌ (Trend Weight: 185.3) I became very ill last night. It was so bad that I even questioned if it was my heart. A shaky blood sugar drop for sure (I’m T2D) but so much more than that. Lightheaded, dizzy. Weak, falling to the right. But instinct told me that it was something that food could fix. I had dropped several pounds in just a couple of days so I think it was too much, too fast. I had prelogged lots of healthy food with the right blend of proteins, fiber and healthy fats but that didn’t help. I grabbed my son and grandson’s pop tarts with milk and it began to fade but not enough. Instinct told me I need the sugars, the carbs and mainly the volume of food in my stomach. 30 minutes later, 2 more pop tarts. It finally resolved. It was like medicine. I cancelled all the rest of my healthy snacks for the night to mitigate damage and took it easy. I tried to exercise on my bike but only got in 16 minutes before I started feeling bad so I stopped. Today I feel a bit weird, off. I will retry to eat strictly healthy and see what happens. This episode was definitely different. I am going to closer monitor my blood sugar levels all day today to see if my doses of Metformin are perhaps becoming too strong since my weight loss this year. This weight correction is definitely one I think I need in the moment. Just a day or two buffer should help.
⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️08/13-183.0 ❌ (Trend Weight: 185.0) I’m a touch up again. Not sure why. Calories yesterday were 947 actual. Then spent about 350 of that in exercise . My carbs were under, fiber good, all healthy fats in good numbers, though protein was half my goal. Ah well, perhaps it was water as I thought maybe dehydration might have played a part in my not feeling well for the past couple of days now. I drank pretty good but was likely a wee bit under my normal goal. Sure enough, I feel so so so much better today. DS’s hair appointment was moved to tomorrow with the two DGS’s appointments by the stylist. That is good for me. Now only one day of restaurants afterward instead of two! Enjoy hump day everyone!

Hello friends! 🌸🌻 Happy August.
This month I hope to continue with my small goals of consistency and self-care.
August 1: 224.2 Yesterday was logged and I’m ready to go today!
August 2: 223.6 logged and done! Yesterday I moved sales offices and today is the first weekend of our VIP sales event. So ready for this… as ready as you can be in new construction homes! Prelogged for the day and MUST STAY HYDRATED!
August 3: 223.2. Logged and done. Feeling good. Tired after yesterday, but ready for more appointments. Glad I’m taking care of myself first and making myself a priority.
August 4: 224.2… Logging is done and dusted! Our VIP weekend was a success. Need to catch up on paperwork this morning but not before I check in with you all! Reading everyone’s posts first, getting my ducks in a row, then back to work.
August 5: 225.4… logged and done… overate dinner and tried to work it off by cutting the grass… obviously didn’t work. As @deepwoodslady has said before.. you can’t out walk a bad diet.
August 6: 224.2 logged and done… feeling good. Spend a nice evening with my hubby and felt more relaxed. Loving the logging everything in the morning plan then making adjustments for dinner. Plus I’m using the Finch app for wellness… it’s free and helpful for squirrel minds like mine.
August 7: 224.8 logged and done. Time to go weed whip after dragging my feet all day. Time to push through.August 8: 224.4 logged and done. Must clean the pool today. Getting together with a good friend on Saturday after work and hanging out in the backyard swimming and having a margarita.
August 9: 224.8 didn’t log but had a great time. It was so nice to catch up!
August 10: 225 logged late but got it done! Busy day at work
August 11: 225.5 will pre-log for the day… to set me up for structure and success. I am ready for a fun and busy Monday… LET’S GO!
August 12: 223.5 prelogged and ready to go! I love working with a partner at work, but I get more done when I’m alone. 😁 I guess I have the best of both worlds!

⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️08/14-181.8 ✅ (Trend Weight: 184.7) I felt much better yesterday and spent the entire day in my P.J.’s just babying myself. I stuck to my diet plan and my newest NSV is that my butt bones are hurting every time I sit down as the cushion I had has shrunk. I first noticed it on the wooden bench at the festival last weekend, but now, even my kitchen and office chairs have become uncomfortable. It’s a discomfort I won’t complain about!

@herblackwings39 Good for you! I used the 5k Pro couch to K app several years ago before my hips got bad. It was great to work my way up to do some 5ks. It was is free, easy to use (or repeat days as needed) and provides prompts, just in case you need to check out another one. Good luck!! 🏃♀️

⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️08/15-183.8 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.6) Dinner was out yesterday out-of-town to a very large eat-in Dairy Queen with 3 DGS’ and my son after their hair appts. I let them choose and we ended up at a place where a medium turtle Blizzard is over 1000 calories alone! Later at home, I kept dinner light but I probably inhaled about 2500 calories for the day and no formal exercise. My DD and DGS are back for the weekend. I hope she minds her manners! I REALLY REALLY need to go grocery shopping in a town with a big box store VERY VERY SOON and restock son’s food and my diet foods. That means travel and all that comes with it. UGH. I don’t mind today’s weight even though it’s up a full two pounds. I did kind of want one day of higher calories to shake it up a bit. But two higher calorie days in the same week could be disastrous! I’m going to have to put some thought into this!

Hello friends! 🌸🌻 Happy August.
This month I hope to continue with my small goals of consistency and self-care.
August 1: 224.2 Yesterday was logged and I’m ready to go today!
August 2: 223.6 logged and done! Yesterday I moved sales offices and today is the first weekend of our VIP sales event. So ready for this… as ready as you can be in new construction homes! Prelogged for the day and MUST STAY HYDRATED!
August 3: 223.2. Logged and done. Feeling good. Tired after yesterday, but ready for more appointments. Glad I’m taking care of myself first and making myself a priority.
August 4: 224.2… Logging is done and dusted! Our VIP weekend was a success. Need to catch up on paperwork this morning but not before I check in with you all! Reading everyone’s posts first, getting my ducks in a row, then back to work.
August 5: 225.4… logged and done… overate dinner and tried to work it off by cutting the grass… obviously didn’t work. As @deepwoodslady has said before.. you can’t out walk a bad diet.
August 6: 224.2 logged and done… feeling good. Spend a nice evening with my hubby and felt more relaxed. Loving the logging everything in the morning plan then making adjustments for dinner. Plus I’m using the Finch app for wellness… it’s free and helpful for squirrel minds like mine.
August 7: 224.8 logged and done. Time to go weed whip after dragging my feet all day. Time to push through.August 8: 224.4 logged and done. Must clean the pool today. Getting together with a good friend on Saturday after work and hanging out in the backyard swimming and having a margarita.
August 9: 224.8 didn’t log but had a great time. It was so nice to catch up!
August 10: 225 logged late but got it done! Busy day at work
August 11: 225.5 will pre-log for the day… to set me up for structure and success. I am ready for a fun and busy Monday… LET’S GO!

Majestic August. Finished July a pound heavier but did step on the scale everyday. Some positive takeaways with the highlight a great group of members trying to be supportive to others as we attain a healthier version of ourselves. Bravo to all.

I let them choose and we ended up at a place where a medium turtle Blizzard is over 1000 calories alone! Later at home, I kept dinner light but I probably inhaled about 2500 calories for the day and no formal exercise. My DD and DGS are back for the weekend. I hope she minds her manners! I REALLY REALLY need to go grocery shopping in a town with a big box store VERY VERY SOON and restock son’s food and my diet foods. That means travel and all that comes with it. UGH. I don’t mind today’s weight even though it’s up a full two pounds. I did kind of want one day of higher calories to shake it up a bit. But two higher calorie days in the same week could be disastrous! I’m going to have to put some thought into this!
SECOND HALF OF THE MONTH:
⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️008/16-184.8 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.6) This is crazy that I’ve gained 3 pounds in two days. I did have the DQ 3 days ago and there has been no TMI for 2 days now. I’m sure these are both contributing but it’s always pretty shocking to see such a big jump. Especially when my calories last night were 1012 and my carbs were 61. Today I am going to the county fair that is about 75 miles each way from me. Not much to do in this small town or my county so it is a big deal to our community. I do try to get my autistic son out of the house here and there and today is the last day of the fair. We will probably eat from a food truck and play some games and just be part of the overall social event and all the fair offers. Scale-wise, it’s not the best time or the best day to be going but, if not today, then we miss out until next year. I’ll try to be sensible.
