Maintaining muscle mass
Hey everyone! I’m new to MyFitnessPal and happy to join the community. My focus isn’t on losing weight but on maintaining, and possibly increasing, my muscle mass while staying lean and healthy. My goals include keeping my current muscle mass, eating enough protein each day, tracking my calories so I don’t undereat, improving my strength and endurance, and keeping my body fat stable while maintaining size.
Some challenges I deal with are making sure I eat enough on busy days, balancing cardio with strength training, keeping my protein intake high without relying on junk food, and finding the right calorie target for maintenance.
I’m hoping to connect with people who have experience maintaining their size, anyone with high-protein meal ideas, strength-focused routines, friends who track their macros, and motivation buddies who are up for weekly check-ins. Below is a recent picture of me.
