Well I drunk the whole bottle of wine but somehow managed to resist the food, just about came in under calories for the day too. I have definitely turned into a lightweight now I don't drink so often, the room was gently rotating when I woke up this morning after 3 hours sleep!
I swore I wasn't going to drink tonight but felt so much better after going to the gym that I've opened a bottle of red :) I am absolutely, positively NOT going to drink the whole bottle though.

Somebody tell me how the skinny girl marg in a bottle tastes! Last night had one Kirin with my bento dinner. Wednesday I had two Annapurna Amber ales, but instead of the burger and fries I had the crabcake and corn chips. Baby steps!

I drank the skinnygirl margarita last night...it was really good...got a nice buzz after 8 oz...

Went to the casino last night...drank Sam Adams (lots of Sam Adams)...not foolishly, but fun

Night before had the skinny margaritas...tried to buy some more and got the low-down...according to the guy at the liquor store, they tried to cheap out and make it in Canada...now, they are having bottling issues and unable to bottle...I guess once they get that squared away more product will be available

cheap out and produce in Canada??? Ummmm... somebody didn't do their homework! Production in Canada is even more expensive than in the US!! :glasses:

So yesterday had my physical - got home and cracked open a beer. My husband got home early, he opened me a bottle of South African Red, then we went to dinner. Had 1 vodka mojito, and shared only 1 bottle of wine with hubs over dinner. We walked to a bar - asked for a vodka soda with a lime wedge - the frickin' bartender should be shot, she kept putting lime cordial in our drinks! Ruined our premium vodka with cordial!, we walked to the next bar, where once again we could easily have parented most of the "kids" in the bar... so we came home. We walked a total of 2.5 kms! In heels to boot! OMG! :noway: Today suffering the wrath of blisters

Tonight another date night - this time at a great french restaurant - looking forward to good food and decent cocktails!:drinker:

:drinker: Cheers! Happy drinking fellow lushes :drinker:

That's what I thought as well and was surprised...thinking it should be made in Mexico if anything, that's where they have all the tequila...but, that's the story I got:ohwell:

Love that you get home from the MD and crack a beer:bigsmile:

Hope that tonight is better with dinner and drinks...appalled by the ruining of drinks:sad: ...hope your tootsies feel better:flowerforyou:

Spent the weekend at my mother's who doesn't keep alcohol in the house. So nothing to drink for over a week. We also did an old house tour and walked miles. To my chargrin, surprise and disappointment - not one ounce lost.

I might as well had my usual weekend alcoholic binge. I am ready to give up!!!!

I've drunk quite a lot of wine over the last week, trouble is once I get into the habit of a couple of glasses most nights it's hard to get out of it :frown: so this week I am aiming to stick to my guns and not to drink until Friday night.

    Hey Lushes,

I got the skinny on the skinny margaritas...apparently, there is a huge shortage on the stuff 'cause it's so popular and they didn't make enough...a girl at work bought 2 CASES from the local liquor store...I got the last bottle from my place and the guy said they can't even order anymore

37 calories an ounce...I can't wait to try it this weekend
REALLY?? It's everywhere here (grocery stores, gas stations, literally everywhere).

    And it's good stuff Lushes!!

Didn't make it under six drinks this week either. Two or three glasses of wine at a barbecue last Sunday, 1 grapefruit drop on Monday, and three glasses of wine with friends yesterday afternoon. Oh, I guess I was close. Four dry days in there, so that was pretty good. Started this week off strong with 2 of these delicious marionberry vodka-citrus drinks last night at book club. I could have sucked down a pitcher without a second thought--good thing they were expensive. It's too hot in the pacific NW to stay sober right now.

Put on 2lb last week, don't want to do that again this week so it's an excellent incentive to me to stay off the drink til Friday. Bit gutted I've gained as I stayed within my calories, if I'm honest with myself though I know it was due to too much alcohol and not eating so well.

    More lofty goals!!!

Been alcohol free since Saturday (3 days)...started prednisone for inflammation from my lungs, says "no alcohol" or will upset the stomach...so, do sliders...prescription should last until Friday...yep, good for the weekend...Life is good

Participating in the great urban race in Minneapolis, MN...scavenger hunt with my BFF drinkin' girlfriend...hope we don't get derailed by the bars...wish us luck

Well, I am on a total bender, not even logging my calories (what's the point), but am exercising daily, watching what I eat, and still losing weight. I suspect I will wake up from this fantasyland any minute here.

I usually have a glass of wine with dinner or just after, as my snack. Lately, though, it seems every evening calls for more than one glass - my son's recent wedding and all the parties that led up to that, and then our daughter just announced that, after a lot of trying, she is pregnant! So, we had to drink to that, too. Maybe I'll just give up eating and then I'll have lots of calories to waste on alcohol - not really! I'm lucky the reasons I'm drinking are celebratory, and I know that! I am, however, afraid to weigh myself, lol!

I used to drink ten beers at a time. In high school. You know, before I had a tolerance.
