if you are Irish or Scottish, yes. If not, then you look like a poser.
Really? 'Cause I've seen people of every stripe wearing them at Highland Games and Celtic Festivals all over my fair nation and also in Canada, and they all look fine to me. It's just clothes.

Only when ceremonial garb is needed.
Otherwise no no no no no.
    Did I mention no?
If I see a regular dude in a kilt I'm walking the other direction.
Your loss. Mhòr for the rest of us.

    are they comfortable?

    boxers, briefs, or commando?

Shhh do not tell! Us ladies, that is 50% of the cat nip. The surprise

so just kinda mix it up? Im just curious if there is a certain kilt etiquette as far as the undergarments goes
The correct response to "The Question" is "Nothing is worn, madam; I assure you everything is in proper working order."

I came here just to share my enthusiastic YES, but also the photo of Gerard Butler in a kilt which I see has already been posted quite a few times. But.....yeah, I'm going to post it again anyway, because it's just that good, and this particular page hasn't had it pasted on it yet, lol.

I dig it. Especially, if they have nice legs.

Just remember if you are asked what you are wearing under your kilt that "your mother's lipstick" is grounds for a brawl.

Yes, fit men in kilts simply earn bonus points. Fulfill many a romance novel fantasy of a rogue scotsman. Just sayin.

Yes like a diana Galbadon story, the cold Moore's the wind blowing, er ummm sorry:

    Back to work

This is all very enlightening and entertaining as well as educational! I always thought the proper response to "Whats under your kilt?" was "The stuff dreams are made of."

I just came back from a Scottish festival last weekend.. so YAY!!!!
I don't know if it's genetics (heavily scotch-irish) or preference, but kilts make my day. :D

Honestly they do nothing for me unless the guy looks an awful lot like my fiancé...6'3" and muscly/fit with red hair and a neatly groomed beard. Strong pale Scottish calves. YES PLEASE...
