However, if I had been in the public eye and had her money and fame in my wild, crazy rebellious stage during my late teens and early twenties...holy crap! It would not have been pretty! So I am the last person in the world who should be judging her.

I think she does a sort of exaggerated clown version of what my son's girl friends do, who are that age. It may just come down to a generation gap thing. Having said that, her denture like teeth make me have an uncomfortable physical reaction that causes some pain in my neck and jaw. The tongue is gross. The *kitten* looks like it got shot out with a BB gun. I don't find her entertaining or attractive, but I don't hate her. I kind of feel sorry for her. She's young and desperate and needs validating, all of which she might find embarrassing to watch when she's older. I think it makes people feel awkward and uncomfortable.

PS unless you're beefybfit, than you see opportunity, lol, the vulnerable ones, with substance induced impaired judgment, that need validation are always easy prey

^^ I agree with this. I think she is a beautiful young woman who is trying to stay relevant and push the boundaries on what people think. I think so much of her performance went over peoples heads at the VMAs.


To the person who said twerking when you have no rear is stupid, have you been to the clubs lately? As far as I can tell that is how girls think they are supposed to dance regardless of the size of your bum. Also, body shaming sucks even when directed at celebrities.

She is the victim of the Disney success. Happened with Britney Spears too. Young performers gather a huge following from being a successful Disney star, so when they try to move on they expect that level of success to follow them in anything they do. Sadly, they are still perceived as what they became famous for, and instead of embracing it and gradually breaking away ( like Harry Potter), they try to go to extremes by doing things to distance themselves from the brand that made them famous.

Hopefully, she doesn't flip out as bad as Amanda Bynes.

I'm not trying to do anything, if you're taking shots at how I look. I was playing around with makeup and decided to take a pic with my beautiful forever-baby cat. I see Miley in almost the same way one would view a toddler who puts on their parent's clothes and shoes. She's doing what she THINKS adults do and is doing it to the extreme and for attention. I don't dress and look the way I do because I want attention.
