I've got a great chicken recipe.
4 chicken breast (skinless)
2-4 jars of salsa verde
Cook on low for 8 hours
Pull the chicken apart with a fork about 7 hours in.
Top with vegetarian refried beans, shredded lettuce, fresh halved cherry tomatoes, fresh avacodo slices and salsa. Yummy! If you want to be naughty, or if you've got extra cals to use up, serve with tortilla chips and low fat sour cream.0 -

I make my 4 cheese potato soup ( however not healthy)
Chili
Seafood Gumbo
Brunswick Stew
and my fav is taking a 10 pound Boston Pork Butt ( butcher it a little) and put a dry rub on there and slow cook it for 6-8 hrs0 -
I'll be looking here for new ideas, thanks!
I frequently do boneless chicken breasts or london broil in fat free italian dressing then cut in bite size pieces to add to salads.
I've made soups and stews with prepackaged mix starter packets and thought they were too salty so hope to try some of your healthier recipes.0 -

I LOVE making pot roast in mine!
Mix together:
1 can of low sodium/low fat cream of mushroom soup
1 can low sodium beef broth
about 2/3 package onion soup mix
1 teaspoon crushed or chopped garlic
Grab your favorite cut roast and season the outside with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Sear it in a pan just to brown the edges.
I put mine in on high for 3 hours (flipping halfway) and then on low for another 4 (again flipping halfway). When you remove the roast it will make its own gravy. Just thicken it up with flour or corn starch. LOVE this recipe. If you have a big enough crock pot it's also great if you used chopped potatoes, carrots and mushrooms in it.0 -

I like to make WW version of Potato Soup
Depending on how much you want to make and how thick or soup you want you may need to adjust the hash browns and the chicken broth. I like mine thicker than soupy,
2 bags frozen hash browns (any style / flavor)
1 pkg country gravy
2-3 cans of low fat chicken broth
I also like to chopped garlic to taste.
Cook on low 8 hours
Serve alone or with toppings to make like a loaded potato soup0 -

I'll often do a chicken in mine. Just scrunch up some tin foil and put the chicken on top. Put on slow for 8 hrs and it just falls apart.0
