    No. I eat fruit. I use olive oil and dairy in moderation. Except ice cream. Ice cream is good. I've been maintaining my 50+ pound weight loss for almost two years. None of the evil foods I eat have hindered my progress. So...why so much hate on those of us who have been successful? Hmmm?

    Oil is to fat what white refined sugar is to carbohydrates. It's refined, concentrated calories, all of them from fat, with no fiber, water, micronutrients, etc.

    There are plenty of fats that you can eat that are not refined and concentrated.

    because they don't. the use olive oil in the preparation of other foods, which include all of those other properties you mentioned - carbs, protein, fiber, antioxidants, etc.

    I agree. I never said you couldn't include oil and still be ok. I simply said that it is not health food, which it is not.

    I think many people are responding to what they think i said, not what i actually said.
