I still have more weight to lose but my last 20 weeks i have been basically eating at maintainance whilst working out (weight training 4 x a week at a local gym.) Having been losing weight for the last 3 yrs i felt the need to change things up a bit. when i started at 32.6st i promised myself that when i got below 20st i'd join the gym. i currently weigh 18st 12lbs. There is of course lots of loose skin,( not shown in photo) as being 52 yrs old and the effects of gravity take their toll on a body!!!

I think that you need to change your name. You're no longer "Bigjon". Maybe "Talljon"? Or "Inspirationaljon"? "Healthyjon"? You've done an amazing job24 -
thank you ridiculous59

July 15, 2018 first picture 225 lbs. Second on Nov 20, 2018 195 lbs. 30 pound drop with a renewed focus on diet and walking 2 miles 3-4 times a week. Still have about 10 lbs to go then I’m going to focus on adding resistance training.52 -
This really needs a bit'o'bump - so many people, so much success, so many more works-in-progress and photos to add, still hiding out there. Anybody?4

Down 61lbs from 229lbs at my highest. Now working on maintaining any muscle I might have left, goal weight is 150lbs. I'm 5'7".
Lesson learned, go to the gym.95 -

Exactly 100 days ago, I embarked on a life-changing journey. I took a long look at myself in the mirror, and decided it was time for a change.. I was 40 pounds overweight, had no energy, felt bad most days due to my arthritis, and was generally grumpy. Something had to change.
When I first began, I said, "Okay, I'm going to give this my all for 100 days, and see what happens. After that, if there is no change, I'll just go back to eating whatever I want." Well, I am happy to report that on Day 100 I am down 21 pounds!
People ask me how I'm doing it all the time, and I tell them about MFP.
The first pic is the day I started. The 2nd pic is Day 100 (today, December 18, 2018!70 -

Lost 46lbs since January 2018 just by calorie counting I haven’t been strict for the past 4-5 months but I haven’t regained so thats plus!!! Now for the last 24lbs which I have heard is incredibly harder I’ve set my goal date of 31st March is this doable?67
