They buffed and waxed the floor here today and now we all know exactly where everyone in the building is at all times.

Expecting 5-7" of snow this weekend. That's may cause a school delay but it's not going to get me out of work.

Love working on my day off...not. And it's night shift with a woman that I tried to train and then re-mediate bc she's awful. Not too happy but I'll take some OT I guess

@sufferlandrian That wouldn't get me out of work either lol

Just keep reminding yourself you about the pay. Or you could pull a Dory, "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming."

Those other 16 hours aren’t making me 6 figures without a degree

If I was pulling down that kind of money working nights you would't catch me complaining about it. What do you do?

Lol well technically I only complain every other month. I’m on a rotational shift. I work for a global leader in flexible packaging in Extrusion operations.

I hate rotating shifts. I would rather do all nights than rotate. Wait, I do.

Besides, Me working 62 hour shifts isn't the same as when you work 24 hours. I can grab naps when the patient is stable.

She was in the phone with her sister, told her she'd be right back, put the phone down, and never picked it back up. Her sistee eventually called the police to check on her, and when they came, they found her dead. They called me at work to tell me. They're not sure, but I think it was probably a heart attack.

Wow. That's really sad. I'm glad she didn't suffer but that sure didn't give you any time to prepare. You have my sympathies.

Oh man.....so sorry to hear that, Jen! My condolences. It's always a shock even if someone's been sick.

Thanks, guys. It's going to take a while to get the house/affairs, etc settled, but thankfully I can just stay here while I do it. I can afford to live here alone for more than a few months, but at least it gives me some cushion and I can work at a moderate pace.
