Same with my work, there’s 10 ppl on overnights, why is myself and 2 others the only ones cleaning the break room?

I'm off work for a while til I get my *kitten* back together (those aren't exactly the words my therapist used when he told me I need to concentrate on getting myself better -PTSDwise) which is kinda nice. Certainly lessens the jumpiness and anxiety goin' on. I hope I don't get to like it too much, because I'm pretty sure WorkSafe won't be willing to keep paying me my regular wages if I don't want to return to work.... :o

Re: break room clean-up.... I complain the same way about the patrol cars. The guys tend to slop their coffee all over and drop bits of whatever they snack on onto the seats. I always head in there with baby wipes for the seat stains, and the Lysol disinfecting wipes for the cup holders, steering wheel and gearshift, etc at the start of my workweek. Ugh. That's one thing I'm not looking forward to when I return. At least they wash the outside.

This isn't the car obviously, just a hoarder mess tho.

Wow! Where were they sitting? Or were they using it for a storage bin. That's the worst I've ever seen.

It's odd the guys are like that with the cars. I keep my truck clean and trash free. My wifes car looks like someone opened a garbage back in the back seat. Yes, it's the kids fault, but I don't let them get away with that in my truck. They are afraid to eat in my truck.

Sometimes I get calls and I wonder if they are pranks. Some gal called and said her Pomeranian was acting pregnant but the only male in the house was her rabbit. She wanted to know if a rabbit could get a pomeranian pregnant. You feel like saying, "You should have paid attention in biology class." The tech was great. He very straight faced just said, "No".

Sometimes I legitimately wonder how we've lasted this long as a civilization.

I'm a little distressed by how much I like watching murder shows.

Yeah, that's all I watch at work; even when I was on days, my partner and I would look up the cases so we could read more into them. I introduced my mom to ID Channel and she's in love.

I may or may not, call it murder porn.

    Don't judge me

I don't have hulu, but I watched a documentary the other day about her case. I I have mixed feelings. Like, yeah, she killed her mom, and I don't think a clear case for self-defense could be made, especially the way they went about it. But at the same time, it was a horribly abusive situation, and that ought have been taken much more into consideration.

@sufferlandrian -hope it was a blast. Looking forward to the pics!

I noticed last night as I was falling asleep that it's starting to feel normal for me to be alone in my house. I guess that's a good thing.
