I love a new month. It means a new monthly challenge!
Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!
It's easy to join - Just post here to begin!
You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

Hi there, I'd love to participate in this challenge! Its great to get out of the house and take a walk outside, but I've found myself being a couch potato lately. So this is the challenge I think would be great to start off the month.0

I'll be posting again as well. Looking forward to having my Fitbit for the entire month this time, although since February is three days shorter than January, it may come to the same thing, lol. We shall see!0

January was my first month joining, and it really made me want to reach that 10k a day. It kept me accountable. Can't wait to keep it up in February.0

Yes. Last month I had 13 over, 15 under 10,000.
This month I will look for at least 20 days over.0 -

Great to see some of our January steppers returning and some new faces too! Hope those step counter are already on and counting!
I actually averaged over 12,000 a day in January - I think I will set that as my goal for this month.0 -

So far I have only been under 1 day!
Would love to know tips from people who walk 15,000 + steps a day. Very impressive!

The days that I have high step counts usually start with a good walk or treadmill. I also try to add steps by marching in place when I am waiting for things or parking further away. I also set mini goals during the day such as not returning to my desk until I have reached the next 1,000 on my counter.0 -
