bad teeth. I mean, come on.
Yeah same here, I couldn't date someone who's parents couldn't afford braces as a child, I mean they are obviously out of my social class!
FU, we were really poor. Food was more important
I'm with the last poster, I think this was meant more as in someone who doesn't take care of their teeth like brushing, teeth rotting out of your head, missing teeth from lack of care. I can understand not being able to afford braces, I can understand having an accident and losing teeth against your will, things outside of your control.
Yes, people, of course I meant people who don't take care of their teeth, not people who couldn't afford braces. I grew up poor too but we could afford a toothbrush and toothpaste.0 -

I have to draw the line if someone owns like 31 cats!
It's all right, you won't have because I'll date that person instead. My rule is the more cats the better!0 -

Sorry but I don't have one thing. I have lots of things! I would never date someone who:
- takes drugs or drinks alcohol excessively.
- is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or discriminatory in any way.
- is against abortion.
- hates cats or animals in general.
- is politically right-wing and/or doesn't share the majority of my political views.
- is religious or extremely anti-religious.
- makes me feel bad about myself.
- rarely smiles.
- supports pseudoscience.
- has no understanding of mental illness.
- thinks animal cruelty is funny.
- has bad body odour.
- doesn't shower every day.
- doesn't respect my boundaries.
- thinks having a long list of dealbreakers makes me a bi*ch.
- believes the friendzone is an actual thing.
- is anti-feminist.
- is unintelligent or less intelligent than I am.
- is a militant vegan.
- believes it's okay to police how a woman looks.
- is short.
- has kids or absolutely wants kids
Also anyone who supports this dudebro:A really long list of deal breakers. If a woman has THAT many deal breakers she's probably just a pain in the a** or a overly picky control freak.
And just a note to this person:After looking through this list, I've come to the conclusion that my "expectations" seem to be quite low... I'm happily seeing someone now, but most of the things people have listed here as being deal breakers wouldn't have mattered in the beginning. There is such a thing as being too picky, and all the restrictions and standards will only keep you from potentially meeting someone amazing.
Being "potentially amazing" and "not meeting standards" are utterly mutually exclusive. I fail to see how someone could be "potentially amazing" and meet any of the criteria I just listed. But you're welcome to have them if you disagree though...
As for the OP's questions:
Doesn't own a home? Wouldn't change my decision to date them at all.
Doesn't have a job? Wouldn't change my decision to date them unless they've never had a job.
Doesn't own a car? Wouldn't change my decision to date them at all.
Has kids or has no kids? Probably a deal breaker.
Is divorced? Probably a deal breaker.0 -
The one thing? Lying. I flucking hate a liar.0

A lot of my friends are vegans now, which I don't care, eat whatever you want. I just think that my least favorite part of the vegan diet is the verbal part where they explain it to you. It's just endless. They're like, "I'm a vegetarian, but I don't even eat milk or honey because it takes animal labor to make milk and honey and I think that's wrong." And it just always strikes me as childish logic, it's like, "I like bees and I like cows... more than the immigrants that pick the vegetables I eat." ~Chelsea Peretti
So, you know, I guess something I couldn't overlook would be living with someone who cared more about bees than people. I mean, I like bees, but since their entire life's purpose is to make honey, I think it's probably okay to eat honey. It's like I am keeping the bees employed. Just saying.
Oh, and what exactly is a non-athiest and non-religious person? Someone who doesn't believe in anything? That doesn't work, though, since they should believe in aliens. And, well, even an agnostic believes in something. They believe that they don't know and don't want to know either way, so they sort of believe in "ignorance is bliss."
And, um... well... I hope you find someone that meets with your qualifications. I recommend looking somewhere remote about 100 miles outside of Roswell, NM. :flowerforyou:0 -
