Grats on hitting your goal weight!!! You rock!
I'm 20-25 lbs out from mine. Hoping to hit mine this year! DH and I decided that if we hit our goal weight and maintain it then next year we're taking the kids and going to Walt Disney World!!!!!!!!!! I'm so flippin' excited!! This is totally motivating me to keep at it. We started saving in January so we have a year and a half to save and get ready. And of course, a new wardrobe for the trip.0 -
Congratulations on hitting your goal weight!!! :-) That must be a wonderful feeling.
Roller coasters are a big thing for me and I haven't gone on any of them in over a decade. Partly just due to circumstances but also because I was terrified that I might not fit onto all of the rides. Now that I'm a lot smaller than the last time I went (and fit back then) I'm excited about riding all of the rides at a local amusement park this Spring. That will be a reward for me!
How funny you mention this... Last time I tried to ride a roller coaster, the restraint wouldn't close. Talk about humiliating!!
Next week I'm going to be in Las Vegas, and I'm going to ride that same roller coaster! And in June I'm going ziplining and parasailing (both were off limits last time I had the opportunity because I was too big)
When I reach goal, I'm going to reward myself with an arm lift. I've hated my batwings for 25 years!!
Congrats on reaching goal!! What a great accomplishment.0 -
Sounds nuts, but when I hit my goal weight, I'm going skydiving. :noway: It's something that I have ALWAYS, always wanted to do and have been afraid to try.
I went skydiving with my mama on Mother's Day 2 years ago. It was my present for losing all the weight I had lost! Amazing feeling!0 -
I want to get some really well done professional family pictures. Some with just the hubby and I (since I was fat and pregnant for our wedding and hate our wedding pics) and some with hubby and our two boys. I've avoided doing this for years because I didn't want to spend good money on pics I knew I wouldn't like but this summer it is happening!
Oh, and I'm going to buy a boat load of new hot clothes. Already in the planning stages of a girl shopping weekend with my best ladies0 -
GO YOU!!!!!
I haven't put much thought into it, surprisingly, lol. After reading your post though, I think the first thing I will do is cry! I mean, all that time and effort and finally getting there. Yup, I would cry.
Congrats, do something fun!0 -
Yup, set a new goal, whether weight, body comp, or performance related
This is the KEY!! Having hit my goal weight before and then slacking off and letting it get away from me I HIGHLY RECOMMEND setting a new goal. Weight is not the ultimate goal, it is an easily measurable goal. SO NOW set another goal for your self as suggested. My goal is to run a 10K, or a plank goal, or a push up goal, or a burpees goal (UGH).... anything that keeps you moving forward and not forgetting how much hard work it took to get there. It will take that much and MORE to stay there.0 -
I squealed and did my version of a touchdown dance in my bathroom ;D CONGRATS!!!0

I think I could work with this!!! Perhaps a tummy tuck or a butt lift!! I do know someone who had her arms "sculpted". Not exactly sure about that one but hey..... everybody's got their own ideas.0 -
Mine fell on my birthday so I ate cake and fried chicken. I may treat myself to a new wig .
When I reach my perfect body shape (I have lots of weights to do) I will have a massive tattoo!0 -
I bought myself the car I always wanted, but never fit in to:

I was on a weight loss competition with a friend of mine (we both lost 30+ lbs)...but we were walking after work and he says to me:
"After we lose 25 lbs we should go get a burger" (or words to the effect of lets eat ourselves into a food coma).
I told him "that's a great idea. Do you think members of AA go get a drink to celebrate sobriety?"0 -
I plan to get a tattoo that can be seen in the new bikini I will be purchasing. I also will go clothes shopping I put a dollar in a jar every time I work out I would have easily spent this on pop before and wont feel the lose of the money by the end since Im gradually saving it. I also really like seeing the jar grow and get to reward myself each time I work out.
That is amazing!0 -
When I get to my goal weight, likely by the end of March or sometime in April (ticker hasn't been updated and does not reflect how much I've lost), I'll have lost between 160-170 lbs.
This grown man is probably going to break down and ball his eyes out.
that was sweet0 -

BEST reward ever!!!0 -
Because I've had soooooo much to lose (total goal is 90 pounds lost), I gave myself a goal of reaching 70 pounds lost by last December. To keep me on track and focused, I set up my reward ahead of time: a Christmas cruise to the Caribbean. I made my goal and celebrated for an entire week. Now that I'm close to my final goal, I'm trying to figure out what my celebration will be. :-)0

Plastic surgery is definitely a goal for me!0

SPA DAY!!!! :O)0

I'm definitely going clothes shopping. I want to take $500 and just go crazy! (ok, maybe $300 lol) In the meantime, I'm buying myself a piece of jewelry for every 10 lbs I lose. I'm 1 lb away from my first piece of jewelry (I have 35 lbs overall to lose).0

New clothes! :flowerforyou:0

I'm 8.4 lbs away from my goal of 50lbs lost... When I reach it I want to do the following.
1. Go get my first ever massage (have a gift certificate for a spa near by).
2. Successfully complete the "Filthy 50" workout at Crossfit.
3. Buy a bathing suit that makes me happy.
4. Go get fitted for new bras... Cute ones!
5. Run (walk part if I have too... can only run 9 miles right now without walking) a half marathon... 13.1 miles as my long run the week I get to my goal.0 -
I wanted to do the new clothes thing but I couldn't wait. Apparently it's not ok for jeans to.fall off in public.
Might have my personal trainers website tattoo'd on me as advertising (joke)0 -
I reached my goal weight just before Christmas and right on time according to my plan - didn't celebrate particularly but had lots of nice things, food, presents and family time - at Christmas and that was enough celebration for me :-)0

^^^^^^This is my favorite. Congratulations!!!!!
I hit my goal 10 years ago and stayed there about 5 min before gaining it all back. This time, (6 lbs to go) I'll buy some new clothes and start working on maintenance goals. Not gonna overindulge to celebrate this time! I'll probably prance around in my swimsuit for a day, then map out my fitness goals. ;-)0 -
I only have about 5 more pounds, so I'm almost there! Not sure what I'll do; maybe wear a crop top in public and take up pole dancing.0
