    It honestly felt great to go for a run in the sun, even though it was barely -4 degrees. I got a couple of freckles on my face! Spring is definitely coming. OK - time to get back to work...

    a little late to this party but I'd love to join. starting out low, working my way up. For march, I'm going to shoot for an average of 1 mile/day: 31 miles for March

    Updated with distances I've run since the 1st. I've got running on my schedule for tonight so it'll be going up!!

    3/1 – 5.11 miles (Ortega River Run – 5 miles – 48:48. First timed race.)
    3/2 – 5.09 miles (easy/slow run)
    3/3 – Rest Day
    3/4 – 4.07 miles
    3/5 – 1 mile run plus cross training (strength and bike)
    3/6 – 5.37 miles (12x400 intervals)
    3/7 – 2.13 miles (plus strength and bike)

    Got an unexpected day off of work today and i'm so thankful I did as it is fabulously dry, sunny and warm in my little part of the world for once and it felt GREAT to be out running without my coat! :heart:

    6 miles today.

    Going Strong...and I'm happy I've met my weekly goal:)

    3/1- 2.95 mi Outdoor Run = 2.95 mi
    3/2- 1.08 mi Outdoor Run = 4.03 mi (slow warm up run on cross training day)
    3/4- 4.03 mi Outdoor Run = 8.06 mi
    3/6- 3.21 mi Outdoor Run = 11.27 mi
    3/8- 4.06 mi Outdoor Run = 15.33 mi

    I can only run part of the month than have to walk the rest of this month due to recovering. My goal is 40 miles.

    I'm feeling pretty good! I'm not quite where I was before the surgery, but I've been able to log three decent runs this week. Let's see if I can top it up next week!
