    Who cares? It's a break up. No matter how you do it, you're going to be the jerk in her mind, so text her, email her, call her, or ignore her. It really doesn't matter. Here's the complete and total truth: you don't owe her anything. You only owe someone more than a text if you cohabit, are engaged, or are married. If you don't share any assets or a dog, dump her any way you choose.

    There's no manning up necessary in a break-up. It's a break-up. You don't want to be friends after, you don't care if she bad-mouths you after (because she will regardless of how you do it), and you want to never see her again. It isn't rocket science or something magical. It sucks no matter what you do.
