Cathe Fans Part 3!

Hi all!
I started my morning with STS Disk 23/Legs and was able to go heavy on all of the moves. YAY!! My strength is definitely returning. I followed it up with a mess of cardio because I couldn't decide what to do. I started with Turbo Fire HiiT 15 and then did the cardio premix from 4 Day Split combining the low and high impact step. Both session felt good, though it was a longer cardio session than I anticipated doing. Oh, well. Tomorrow will be a light day so I don't mind too much.
Tami, I was thinking about my post-undulating rotation yesterday when I was working out, and I had kind of decided to do something like that second rotation you posted. YAY! That looks really good. I definitely want to be able to do Cathe's new workouts when I get done with this rotation, and this would very easily allow that AND let me do some of the circuit workouts I've been missing doing for the past year. I might do it as suggested for about two weeks (especially the week right after this rotation) and then I might add a second upper body lifting day to the rotation. I'd do that by doing legs and circuit back-to-back (something I don't mind doing since Cathe never uses heavy weights for legs during her circuits) and starting out the week with an upper body workout (or full body and diong the upper body mid week). I'll have to give it some thought, but thanks for posting that. Glad to hear your workout on Monday night wasn't as tough as you thought it might be....though it still sounds tough!
Laurie, there are quite a few Veteran's Day activities in DC, that's for sure. This is the first place I've lived where it feels like Veteran's Day is more than just a government holiday (with everybody else working). With so many government employees around, even the commuter trains are off tomorrow (which is odd). We're going to go into Arlington National Cemetery for the ceremony there. We know a couple of people who are buried there now and want to take the time to pay our respects to them as well. Then we might cross the bridge and go visit a couple of the memorials....especially the Korean War Memorial since we just came from there. It should be a poignant day....but good. Great job on the workouts! Glad to hear you still have Friday off.
Erika, so glad you got the rest you obviously needed! I'm with you....I'll always be in a position where a leg/booty workout is needed. :ohwell:
Kara and Michelle.....:flowerforyou:
Don't know if I'll be around tomorrow so, if not, I hope you all have a great Veteran's Day!

Hi Ladies ~
STS #23 Legs for me this a.m. as well …. I enjoyed this workout stayed up in the weights so that felt good Planning on going to the later Spinning class tonight for cardio!
Laurel: Glad you like that rotation, I thought it looked good too and was thinking the same thing on the upper body and incorporating more into that rotation. I do like the combo w/ Circuit & Cardio, etc. I’m happy to hear you are doing well with STS and feeling good being back with the weights, etc… truly you haven’t missed a beat! What a special day you will have tomorrow, that is awesome. :flowerforyou: Such a perfect place to be honoring our Veterans. I hope you both enjoy your day.
Laurie: That is a great question about the “new” workouts! Since I have been thinking about it and wondering myself. Off the top of my head I am thinking probably will try the Intensity one first. :noway: imagine that! But I will see when they arrive …. Definitely check those rotations out, I know you are the "Rotation Queen" so you probably already have 2011 planned but these do look good I think.
Erika: BFBM was fun. I used to have that one come up more often than now, kind of an old “go to” workout so it was fun. I know what you mean on making a list. That way when I can’t decide I can look at my list & pick one. So many that I do like is part of the problem. A good problem though! Glad you are caught up on some sleep & got in another great KCM workout!
Hi Michelle & Kara!
Talk to you all tomorrow ~

Good Morning Ladies!
I'm enjoying getting back into the non-travel routine! But, my body is still exhausted...I was in bed early again last night!
This morning was KCM Weights....gosh I love her workouts! They remind me of Cathe, but condensed into a 1/2 hour. She always has some unique twist on a traditional move, which I love! I followed that up with BBL High and Tight, so I'm pretty certain tomorrow might be a major DOMS day! I've yet to have 1 day without DOMS during this KCM rotation (although not as bad of DOMS as with STS, which is good!).
Tami--Legs and Spinning day--yeah! I hope you worked extra hard in Spinning for me!
Laurel--WOW, what a great combo of workouts! I bet that felt GREAT to have such a variety yesterday! Have a great Veteran's Day out and about! I bet the city will be busy!
Laurie--Way to push it with Back and Biceps AND Abs! I bet you'll be sore today, I know I would! Enjoy your Yoga day!!
Michelle and Kara--Happy Thursday!0 -
Morning ladies,
I'm safely back from my trip and back to being mommy and everything else:laugh: Dad took the entire week and has enjoyed baking, reviewing homework and all of the day to day issues with the girls. My time went well and I actually felt mentally rejuvenated as I enjoyed the peace and silence of the hotel room:laugh:
The interview was brief, went well and truly to me was a waste of govt funds:laugh: There were only 4 questions, at one point they actually was thinking of having me walk to the site:noway: which I had no clue but it was at least several blocks from the hotel. After a few calls back and forth one of the employees came for me. Upon arriving I could hear them discussing the prior interviewee and they were really excited with her so that was a bit intimidating at first:grumble: Never the less I walked in and answered and asked my questions, the questions were definitely not a traditional type of questioning but a dialoque was created outside of those questions. I can say it was definitely different:ohwell: Within the next few weeks results should be sent out b/c the start date is next year..
Coming home was great and everyone was excited to see me including Capone who jumped all over me:laugh: Hubby bought a beautiful floral arrangement with one of my favorite stargazer lillies along with a sweet card from the girls. I definitely felt missed except for the 9 year old who was pretty nonchalant. Capone had a few mishaps, he had an accident, stole a bag of bacon and broke many rules not to mention 4:40am wake up calls:laugh: This morning he slept until 6:15 and I was able to sleep in as yesterday I was at the airport by 4:45am :noway: Yesterday's eating was off after I landed...yup Haagen Daz that I had saved for my return was waiting for me:bigsmile: Back on track this morning with Bar scheduled for later this afternoon.
It is rainy, foggy, and cool today......perfect way to celebrate Veterans' day.
Off to relax with the family and enjoy my Reacher novel:bigsmile: Thank you the ladies for the wonderful support and well wishes:flowerforyou:
Michelle.
PS. Erika you are going to force me to buy that dang KCM dvd:laugh:0 -
Afternoon Ladies,
Yoga X for me this morning. I then got the family room vacuumed and the kitchen floor scrubbed. Now I'm watching reruns of Burn Notice, have to get in the mood for the season preimer tonight. Enjoying my day off, and will probably do some baking tomorrow. Promised my oldest that I would make some chocolate chip cookies.
Laurel, Looks like you are enjoying having all those workouts to choose from. Will put the DC trip on the to do list, it sounds like something that would be wonderful to witness in person. Hope you have a really good day today.
Tami, I thyought Intensity would be your first choice too. Yes I do have my next rotation already set for the beginning of January. You will be ending your undulating roation, and I will be starting one up. I'm looking forward to using these new workouts in the rotation though. Might even sub the Intensity for a Insanity day.
Erika, I like the KCM Weights, seems like she really does get a lot done in a short amount of time. The first time I did that one I had really intense DOMS. Sometimes our bodies just need the rest, I know I'm in bed at 8pm some nights.
Michelle, Sounds like you had a good trip. Glad that the family missed you, I don't know that I have ever come home to all those nice surprises. Well maybe the Capone ones (Dang he was a little devil while you where gone). Funny how those trips can actually give a Mom some needed r&r.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Afternoon Ladies ~
So my workout today is going to be after work - Drill Max Ultra Cardio Scramble!
Erika: Another great KCM workout ~ excellent! Hope you aren't too sore, just a normal DOMS Is the KCM Weights workout that new one L.I.F.T.? Sounds good, with lots of variety - that is great.
Michelle: Welcome back and what a nice "welcome home" from your family! Very nice and I am sure made you feel special. I was going to ask how Mr. Capone was doing these days ... sounds like he is still up to his mischief
Laurie: Happy Yoga Thursday for you! Sounds like you are enjoying a great day off. Yes, I am definitely looking forward to incorporating the new workouts into my next rotation. I think each of them will fit nicely into any rotation, so that is good!
Laurel: Hope you and your hubby are having a wonderful day together. Will look forward to hearing about it.
Kara: - :flowerforyou:
Have a great afternoon everyone!

Happy Friday Ladies!!!:drinker: So glad it's here!
Today I decided to take a rest day (instead of tomorrow) as I am SORE from KCM yesterday. Like, scared to laugh sore. She had core work during the "rest" periods and I didn't think anything of it, as I rarely get sore in my abs, but today they are hurtin! :noway:
Tami--How was Drill Max? I need to find time to get that one in, I sure do miss it! The workout I did yesterday was KCM Weights. It's not a new one, but new to me (I just recently bought it). I really like it, as she toasts each muscle and then does active rest. It's fun!
Michelle--Sounds like everything went well on your trip, now the waiting begins! :grumble: You sure got a fun homecoming from your hubby and girls...they sure missed you! What a nice thing to come home to. Good to hear you were able to get Capone back to his usual sleep schedule!
Laurie--Ahhhh....Yoga! Sounds sooo good right now. Sounds like you were productive on your day off, and got in some relaxing time watching your show too!
Laurel--I hope you had a great Veteran's Day with your hubby!
Kara--I hope your week is going well!
Off to work!0 -
Happy Friday Ladies!!
I had a great day yesterday. I started it off with CCC very early in the morning, and then DH and I headed to Arlington to see the official nation's tribute to our veterans. It was a really nice ceremony. Because the president was in Asia, Vice President Biden was the guest speaker. All of the military Chiefs of Staff were there, as long as the Secretary of Defense and the newly elected Speaker of the House. After the ceremony, my husband and I put flags on the graves of the two people who we have met throughout my husband's military career that are buried there. That was sad, but I'm glad we did it. Then we crossed over the Potomac and decided to walk to all of the war memorials. It was a beautiful day, and there were so many veterans out. At the Korean War Memorial, there were groups of high school students surrounding some of the vets, eagerly listening to them talk about the war. The Vietnam War Memorial's wreath laying had just finished when we got there, and there were alot of people around. We saw more than one college-aged person walk up to a vet and thank them for their service. That did this older person's cynical heart some good! There were even quite a few WWII vets out and about enjoying the day. It was, by far, the best Veteran's Day I've ever had because it is, sadly, the first one I actively celebrated by honoring the veterans.
I woke up a bit worn out this morning, though. Maybe it was all the walking! I still got my workout in....STS Disk 24 (Back/Biceps) and, once again, the drop sets really got to me. I was fine on the back section, but the biceps.....not as much. But it was a good workout. I finished it up with Athletic Step which felt really tough to me today. It was a good workout. Tomorrow is my rest day, and I'm looking forward to it.
Erika, I'm so glad you are enjoying KCM. I've never done any of her workouts, but I should probably give them a shot. Glad you took a day off if you are that sore! Afraid to laugh? That's not fun!!
Tami, I hope you enjoyed Drill Max cardio. I love that one! I can't believe we're almost half-way done with this last cycle of the rotation. Even my husband was asking me what I'm going to do next. I better start giving it some thought!
Laurie, I love Burn Notice!! Unfortunately, from living overseas, I'm a season behind right now so I wasn't able to watch the premiere last night. But I look forward to catching up. That show makes me laugh! Hope you are enjoying your days off.
Michelle, I'm glad your trip went well. It certainly sounds like you were missed at home! That must make you feel wonderful. I would have been completely intimidated if I had heard the interviewers takling about the person before me, especially positively. Congrats on keeping it together for the interview. I've had interviews like that before....general questions (like 'What is your favorite book?') that resulted in more of a conversation than an interview. I actually like that style of interview, though they make me think more than the standard 'What do you think you can bring to this job?' type questions.
Kara, hope school is well!!
I hope you all have a great weekend!!

Afternoon ladies,
Well this morning I went back on wake up duty at 5:30 which was doable:laugh: I did a 55min Bar Method which I'm feeling in the glute area already and then it was off to gymnastics, errands and returns of the additional suits to Macy's Hubby has been off all week and played chauffeur which means that my laid out route was seriously re-routed:grumble:
Last night was a Bones, Fringe & Burn Notice night and in between commercials were Nerf tag battles which is such a fun activity..even the dog gets in on the game and then of course tries to eat them:laugh:
Laurel - I'm glad you were able too truly experience a Veteran's day that was touching and reminded you of the beauty and honorable men and women that serve and served our country. Visiting the wall or the memorials is truy one of the best way to truly comprehend those who wore that uniform. Hmnn during the interview the DD actually mentioned me visiting to help his wife become more organized and the other interviewer and I really connected because of our planner like abilities.
Erika- I know the waiting game. Yes hubby is totally hands on and deep underneath there is still the romantic guy I married who loves to buy cards and flowers for all of us He also bought the girls their own bouquet of hot pink and neon green
Tami- Yes he has actually been acting up and was rebelling with hubby who does not normally take care of him on a daily basis.:noway:
Laurie- Maytag is a brand I have never purchased but the silence factor sounds excellent. We have Frigidaire Gallery series but the dishwasher has the worst review so I'm not sure what to do. The more expensive models such as Bosch, etc all seem to have similar motor problems after several months so I'm hoping that they will design a new model by the new year b/c this black Whirlpool is an eyesore.
Kara- Hang in there:flowerforyou:
My BFF and family is visiting this weekend and will be coming for dinner so I'm off to do some more cleaning. I had to make the dreaded grocery run for dessert and coffee items so now it is time to start cooking.
Have a great weekend!

Good Afternoon Ladies ~
This a.m. was STS #24 Back/Biceps …. Felt good and seemed like such a quick workout. Unfortunately won’t be able to get in any cardio this evening. My DH and I are going out to dinner tonight ~ which is great & looking forward to it. He also wants to do some early Christmas shopping tomorrow so we are planning to do that as well :noway:
Laurel: Sounds like you had a spectacular Veterans Day – I bet it was very emotional and special all in one to experience. Great job on the workouts today! :drinker: I know what you mean on the time flying right along here. Can’t believe we only have a few weeks left. :noway: I am really leaning towards that rotation I sent you that includes Circuit workouts and will hopefully figure out more upper body as well into it. I need to look at it again and think about that! Having a plan is always good.
Erika: Good idea on the REST day if you are feeling really sore. I am sure your body will appreciate that! Maybe tomorrow you can get in a workout if you are feeling up to it.
Michelle: Sounds like you are right back into the routine of things! Good job on getting in your Bar Method workout  Is that your favorite workout would you say? That style? Sorry to hear Capone is up to his tricks … I hope very soon he starts growing up a little more and will behave.
Laurie: Hope you are enjoying your time off and have a great weekend!
Erika: Things going good for you?!?! Hang in there :flowerforyou:
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Morning Ladies,
I was shopping all day yesterday so didn't have a chance to get online. Youngest now has a new winter coat, so at least she will not freeze at the bus stop. I got in P90X Legs & Back yesterday, and plan on KCM's 30MTF Kickboxing with weighted gloves for today. That will have to be some time this afternoon, because I slept in this morning. My legs and butt are really sore this morning, so the kickboxing should help get that area better.
Tami, Have a fun time with the Christmas shopping, this time of the year seems to be a really good time for sales. I managed to get to a lot of sales for some of the clothes for the dd's. All of us went out last night for dinner too, just didn't feel like cooking last night after all the shopping.
Erika, Sorry to hear that those abs are sore, and yes she is really sneaky with that workout. I think it is all the twisty type moves that she incorporates in that one. Will have to remember that one for future ab workouts.
Laurel, Your day sounded like is was very nice. Glad you where able to do the memorial for your friends. I like every character on Burn Notice except for the new one Jessie. My youngest doesn't like him either, she said last night that Fiona should only be with Michael. Guess I have a romantic little girl in my house, but I guess I have to agree with her. I have season 1-3, because I like it that much. :blushing:
Michelle, I love how those DH's of ours can mess up our schedules. It was really hard for us when DH went from second shift work to first. We had a routine, and he came in and messed it all up. Our house is usually have the dog play fetch during the commercials.
Have a wonderful day and weekend,

Good Morning Ladies! Whew, what a weekend! I have not been feeling "normal" for about 3 weeks now and Sunday it really kicked in. I was having every possible symptom of being pregnant (and we're done having kids!) such as weight gain (4 pounds over 3 weeks...wth...major cravings for weird foods and all the other fun stuff. Sunday even started with dry heaves in the morning, and continuing all day with symptoms. But, it was a negative on the test. Not sure what it could possibly be! All I know is I'm tired of being tired...all the time! Friday ended up being a rest day (too tired to workout!), and Saturday was KCM Plyo. Yesterday my hubby took the boys to church and a family party while I literally slept and laid on the couch all day!
I was feeling better this morning so did KCM Olympic Style Lifting, which felt great, followed by 15 minutes of dancing to my fave songs on my i-pod. Freestyle dancing is such a stress reliever for me!
Laurie--That Back and Legs workout sonds like it worked you out good! I hope you were able to get your KCM in! Good idea on the winter coat--did you get the snowstorm out there? We got about 7 inches, I think, and it was WONDERFUL! My boys had so much fun playing in the snow, and I even managed to get out there for awhile! Had to run out for more winter gloves for the boys, as I found they only had 1 waterproof pair between the 2 of them!
Tami--Sounds like Back workouts were the thing to do on Friday! Hope you had a great night out with the hubby!
Laurel--Sounds like you had a very special Veteran's Day, and sounds so touching! I would love to experience that some day! You would really enjoy KCM's workouts...she does 30 minute workouts (2 per disc), but you can pre-mix them to do a full hour too! Only problem...I don't know which one I would recommend as I LOVE them all!
Michelle--Ugh, the early wake up call again. Sounds like you got in an awesome workout anyway!! I know all too well that having the hubby home messes up the schedule. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that much anymore (only on days where we both work from home!) as I don't do so well with my schedule getting messed up! I hope you had a great time with your BFF!
Kara--I hope school is treating you well!0 -
Morning Ladies,
Well what was suppose to be dinner turned into a full fledge weekend of accomodating my BFF, her husband and my two godchildren:grumble: I hate last minute suprises and she tends to do this to me all the time which I really hate as I like advance notice so that I can prepare accordingly. So after some arrangements and a quick clean of my DD bathroom we had a full house this weekend. No exercise, coffee and cake after dinner, pizza and a day shopping at the mall plus a massage:blushing: It turned out to be a great weekend especially for the kids and the dog who loved the extra attention but then of course he went bonkers once day and had to spend it outside looking in at the kids playing:noway:
Erika- Like you I'm exhausted and I'm not sure what the problem is either. No pregnancy but TOM is around the corner. My massage therapist said my sway back is definitely causing my back pain so he worked on my hip flexors and now I'm soo sore in my muscles as if I worked out this weekend besides tons of walking:laugh: My BFF is a Nicu nurse and we were discusiing the constant tiredness and she said her doctor told her to take prenatal vitamins to help with the fatigue so that is my next step or Vitacost sells a really great blend depending on your lifestyle and even your eating habits such as locarb, etc. They are ciostly but usually contains everything in a higher and purer dosage.
Laurie- Oooh another Burn Notice fan My eldest has a crush on Michael and her treat this Thursday was staying up with us to watch the premiere:laugh: Jessie I'm ambivalent on also..not sure if he is needed anymore. Last night my hubby and I also watched all of the Closer episodes to end off the season and prepare for the return in December.
Tami- Not excited about the shopping or doing it with hubby:laugh: In our household we tend to do it separately for the kids and just update sheets but as we are going out of town for the holidays we need to get the wish lists from the kids so that we can make sure we have everything before we arrive in Georgia & Alabama. Bar Method seems to really work my lower half which is my problem area and it does it without the residual knee pain. I hate lunges and squats and always felt as if they were widening the butt and thickening the quads which I did not want at all:laugh: I can usually see a difference really quick with the BM style exercises which is encouraging plus there is no impact factor to affect my back and knees
I'm trying to wean myself off coffee but really need a pick me up this morning. Uuugghgh.
Michelle0 -
Morning Ladies,
This will be a quick one for me this morning, I have a report that I need to get done before 10am. Had a rest day on Sunday, and last night was a terrible time sleeping. DH had to go to work for an emergency, one of there two tv stations went dow and they are still on half power for that one. He got home and made some noise, his head hit the pillow and he was snoring. Can you guess that I was listening to that all night. No workout for me yet, I just couldn't get myself out of bed. Insanity Cardio Core & Balance is my workout, so I'm hoping to get that done tonight.
Erika, Dang on what you are going through. Hope you are able to figure out what is going on, being tired all the time can't be fun. I think I remember going through that at one point (just the tired part), and could never figure out what was going on. It could be hormonal or thyroid? Have you gone to the doc to have that checked?
Michelle, What a weekend you had with surprise guests. Glad that you had fun though. I didn't get into the Closer series to much, I did watch a couple of episodes of that. I liked Jessie at first, but this opening season episode made me not like him. He was kind of nasty, and I guess that turned me off. Wonder why they are making him that way.
Have a great day!

Hi ladies!!
I had a very busy weekend of Christmas shopping. I try to get all of the packages I need to mail purchased before Thanksgiving, and this was the only weekend I had free before Thanksgiving to do it! At least the crowds weren't too bad, and the sales were good, so I was successful. But I'm exhausted from it.
I took Saturday off from working out, and when I woke up yesterday morning, I seriously considered taking another day off. But I managed to do 4DS Kickboxing, which felt pretty good despite how tired I felt. Today I woke up feeling tired still, but did STS Disk 10 (Chest/Shoulders/Triceps). This workout felt SO much better than it did three weeks ago. I was amazed. I did all of my weights as written on my sheets and even went up in a couple of categories. :drinker: I've also decided to try to focus on the Turbo Fire workouts for a little while, doing a couple/few per week until I (at long last) get them all done. Today I did Fire 60, which is one of the extra workouts from the advanced kit. I loved every single second of it!! It was tough but not Insanity tough (by a long shot) and just felt fun for me. This one will definitely end up as part of my 'go-to' workouts. There was no hip wiggling outside of the warm up, and it was just good, solid kickboxing-ish moves with a couple of high intensity drills thrown in for good measure. I'm glad I paid for that advanced kit just because of this workout.
Erika, I'm so sorry to hear about how you are feeling but, to be honest, I'm kind of suffering the same thing right now. My appetite comes and goes. Sometimes I feel fine, and other times queasy. I definitely don't have my normal energy. But I've been chalking it up to the move AND the change of the seasons. I seem to go through a spell whenever the season changes that has me sleeping more than normal (or at least wanting to sleep more than normal). I hope you feel better soon, but if you continue to feel poorly and/or keep gaining weight without reason, I echo Laurie's suggestion of seeing your doctor about your thyroid.
Laurie, glad you got some shopping in on Friday. I was the same as you after shopping on Saturday.....no cooking for me! I really was tired. Sorry to hear about the long night last night. My husband is like that.....walks in the door and makes enough noise to wake me before sleeping like a rock.....leaving me awake all night. :grumble:
Tami, I hope your workout this morning went as well as mine did!! I think I'm going to sit down the week after Thanksgiving (I'm pretty busy for the next couple of weeks) and do up at least a three week rotation (maybe four) that will carry me through the Christmas holidays. That is definitely NOT the time I need to be wondering what kind of workout I will be doing on any given day....I just need to look at a sheet, say 'okay' and put in the DVD. I'm definitely going to incorporate circuits with both upper and lower body workouts.....I just need to figure out which workouts and how I'm going to put them together.
Michelle, I really don't like surprise guests at all!! Good for you for taking them in, and at least you had a fun weekend. I'm just now watching the first season of The Closer and am really enjoying it. I'm so far behind on TV.....too many years living overseas!!
Kara....:flowerforyou:
Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi Ladies ~
Weekend was good! DH and I had a fun time out and did a little bit of shopping ….. then I went back out with my girlfriend and did some more. He decided really he needs to shop for me & was just going to get some ideas. Which means we wander around and I don’t really feel like I can shop. So that was Sat. and then yesterday I did Gym Style Legs followed by HiiT 30/30 and then went to V-ball – we did pretty good considering we were missing a player so it was only 3 of us, (this league is 4-on-4), but we won 4 out of 6! This a.m. was STS Disk 10 (Chest/Shoulders/Triceps) as well and it did feel way better than 3 weeks ago! I was very glad. Tonight will be Turbo Kick after work for my cardio.
Laurel: That is excellent you got so much shopping done! I felt like getting a “dent” in was a good start. That must feel really great to be way ahead of the program. Yes, this a.m. workout was WAY better for me as well. Still had some shoulder fatigue going on but I wasn’t looking at my sheets like last time; I did update them correctly this time though! I agree 110% on at least having something in place that I don’t wonder about what I will do each a.m. for a workout. :ohwell: That is what I truly love about any of the rotations is having it planned out. After doing various rotation based workouts plus finishing up a rotation this long, I rely on a schedule I think.
Laurie: I know how that goes! I think you and I have shared past moments of frustration with the snoring hubbies!:noway: It’s certainly frustrating and makes the other person exhausted in the a.m. Hopefully tonight will go better for your sleep & hopefully you have the energy this evening to get your workout in.
Erika: So sorry to hear you aren’t feeling 100%. :ohwell: That is a frustrating feeling to be tired and nothing seems to improve the energy level. I’m with the other ladies here, it might be worth a check at the doctor to just see what’s happening. Hope it improves soon so you can be back to normal, especially with the holiday’s right around the corner.
Michelle: Sounds like you had a fun weekend … and that you rallied at the last minute to make it all happen! I’m with you on the wanting a little pre-notice for guests. Yes, shopping with DH wasn’t really my idea. It always sounds fun but seems to be unproductive because I feel the pressure of buying and leaving FAST. No browsing. But it was nice that he wanted to, even if short lived. BAR Method workouts sound like they would be good & definitely if it feels better on your knees, that is a bonus too!
Hi Kara – Hope you had a great weekend and all is well with you!
Talk to you all tomorrow! :flowerforyou:
Tami0 -
Happy Tuesday!!
I can SLOWLY feel my energy creeping back into my body...thank goodness! I found out yesterday that 2 ladies work with have been having the exact same crud I have (tired, sick to the stomach, cravings, moody, etc), so we're all convinced we've either got a bug or all 3 of us our pregnant, and our HPT's were wrong! One of the ladies is a nutritionist we have on staff, so she knows a lot about alot, and said that I'm probably gaining weight due to the extra cortisol in my system from being so stressed. She gets to see me at my worst as she sits right next to me, and knows the last 2-3 weeks have been expecially trying at work!
This morning was KCM Circuit Burn (LOVE THAT ONE!) and Brazil Butt Lift Bum Bum. I think I've decided Brazil Butt Lift is going bye bye! I have done it quite a few times now, and honestly can remember all the moves, to where I don't think I need to keep the set for the 2 DVD's I actually use. So, I'll put it out on Ebay while it's still in high demand! Gotta love Ebay!!!
Tami--Sounds like an awesome weekend...gotta love the shopping. I'm happy to say I have all the Christmas shopping done for my 10 nieces and nephews and now it's just my parents, in-laws and the kids. Hubby and I decided we'd each buy a couple things and wrap them up to open in front of the kids. We usually don't buy anything for each other, but the kids notice that kind of stuff, so we thought we'd go along with it! How are the legs feeling?!?? Gym Style, Hiit, VBall...ouchie!
Laurel--Sounds like you also got some Christmas shopping done...doesn't it feel good to get it done early? I start earlier and earlier each year, and it's so nice to get most of it done before the stores and malls get insane! Once again, you totally amaze me with your drive to get your workouts in. I just can't get over that "hump" if I'm not feeling like working out, and you do virtually every time. Way to go! :drinker:
Laurie--I hope you got your workout in last night, and also got a good night of sleep! What is going on with the snoring lately? Time of year? My hubby has been horrible the last few nights, and I actually woke him up last night because I couldn't stand it anymore. It sounded to me like he was choking! :grumble: I think the change in time has got to have something to do with it? On a good note, since the time change, no night terrors for the older son, but I'm sure it will come back at some point, as we're going on a full year of virtually every night now!
Michelle--I am right there with you on the "surprise we're staying longer than expected" deal! I need to know ahead of time, or I get stressed! But, sounds like it all worked out and you had a fabulous time! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with a sway back! I've only ever met one other person that has the same thing. I know my lower back is always the 1st place to hurt when I do any lower body workouts. Sometimes it hurts so bad I can't move! It's gotten better as I've gotten older, but before I had kids, it was horrible!!! I hope yours is feeling better!
Good morning Kara!!!0 -
Afternoon Ladies,
Last night we were in bed by 10pm and I woke up not feeling exhausted. I think that my tiredness is also related to the Va trip as I usually do not sleep well in hotels rooms without my family:blushing: and the first night I woke up every hour b/c it seemed like the door kept opening:noway: That combined with the time change that occurred that weekend prior to departure is catching up to me. Needless to say this morning I woke up fine and then decided to take a sub-lingual B-12 dose along with my coffee:laugh: I also bought some new vitamins on Vitacost..the reviews were great and it was costly but hopefully it will work.
The Firm Calorie Explosion hit the spot and kicked my butt, my hair was dripping and it was a hot and wet mess at the end of my workout. I then added Callanetics and hit the abs and LB for a solid workout. My hip flexors are still sore but I definitely need to up the water intake especially after the massage.
Erika- Good to know there is another person with the sway back as it usually disappears after pregnancies:grumble: I have a lordoctic spine which the pregnancies and a military injury affected throughout the years which has led to some crawling sessions during bad episodes when hubby was deployed:noway: I told hubby to gift me with a Massage Envy membership so that I can have my monthly massage and work on my poor body at the same time
Laurie- Hopefully the report was submitted on time. I had to submit voucher forms for the trip and I swear I did that stupid form 3 times before they accepted and approved the voucher for my out of pocket expenses:grumble: .
Laurel- I was doing some online shopping yesterday but then my cart was edging closer to 500.00 and I decided to save it and come back and make a decision today:laugh: I had decied to do a light Xmas this year after our Disney vacation and family vacation in Florida..sheesh and that did not include the in-laws:laugh: .
Tami- My hubby and I are not the same type of shopper...he browses while I'm ready to buy it right away So we tend not to shop together and instead will just coordinates lists, etc
Have a great day!

Hey ladies!
I started off today with IMAX 2 and added the blast-only premix at the end. I was very sore from yesterday's workout (I can't quite understand why, but that's the beauty of this undulating rotation), and the first few minutes of the workout was tough for me. But once my body loosened up....it felt great!! I finished it off with Kari Anderson's Reach, and that seems to have removed all the lingering DOMS from my body....for now.
Tami, I'm glad your workout went well yesterday too! I was amazed how much difference the few weeks made. That's one of the things I love about doing STS....I can regularly monitor my progess. I'm beginning to wonder how long it will be before I want to pick up the series again. I was thinking I'd take off a really long time, but I'm thinking it might be more like next spring instead of next fall as I originally intended. I think I'll still try to do another P90X rotation this spring since I've spent all of this year on STS. My body probably needs something different right now. But I'm going to miss doing STS.
Erika, I'm glad you are feeling better. Come to think of it, my neice has been going through the same thing, and the doctor told her it was a bug that could take a few weeks to pass. I hope you continue to improve. Seems like she has good days followed by bad....but her bad isn't as bad as it was last week which means there is at least steady progress towards getting better. If you decide to sell BBL, let me know how it goes. I'm still considering selling mine without opening it, and am curious what kind of demand there is out there for it right now. Regarding getting over the 'hump' of not wanting to workout, I always ask myself whether I'd feel better if I worked out or not. If the answer is 'yes' (as it usually is), I workout. For me, the 'hump' is mostly a mental battle, and that's why I push myself. If I had true physical reasons for not working out, I wouldn't. But I don't want to give into a mental sentiment that starts with 'I can't'.
Erika and Michelle....I have a sway back too! I've had some really bad incidents with my back.....like not being able to walk for days and, one time, not being able to drive for two months because I didn't have the strength to push in the clutch!! Not fun. I have to be really careful with my back, especially on moves like deadlifts (one of the reasons they frustrate me so much at times in Cathe's workouts), but as long as I keep my core strong, make sure I'm not doing anything stupid (like sitting for long periods of time with my feet up), I can pretty much do just about anything. I'm still surprised some days that I was told about 10 years ago never to do impact exercise again. But with a little innovation (like constant stretching) and some strength, I have no problems with impact. How glad I am that I didn't give up on it, but worked at gaining the ability to do it again (which took nearly three years!)
Michelle, no doubt you're still tired from your trip to VA. Not only the travel but the stress and uncertainty of it all can make you tired. I'm glad you are feeling better today. I'm happy you enjoyed the Firm Calorie Explosion. I has been a long time since I've done a Firm workout, but I used to love them. In fact, I still have a few of them on VHS....just in case I want to give them a shot again one day. I really credit The Firm for making me interested in strength training.
I'm working on Christmas cards today. :grumble: It seems so early, but I need to get my cards in the mail right after Thanksgiving to let everybody know our new address. I'm so tired of my Christmas cards also acting as change-of-address cards. Hopefully this is the last year for this for some time!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Good Afternoon Ladies ~
This a.m. workout was Circuit Blast! I always enjoy that one. This evening I am finally using up my G/C that my DH had bought me last Christmas :blushing: for a Facial at a local spa. Not sure why I saved it for so long but at any rate it is going to good use this evening! So no p.m. workout, just relaxing instead! It should be fun.
Laurel: I know what you mean on STS and missing it. I think the variety that it offers you just don’t ever get bored of it, but I think definitely taking a slight break from the actual program itself for a little while and coming back to it is what I will be doing. Otherwise the "shock" factor might not be happening! The new rotation that I posted does have some STS Plyo Legs in it but that's it from STS. That is so amazing you are getting all your cards done as well, good job! Great workout this a.m. too ….. you are truly Wonder Woman! :drinker: Glad to hear your worked out some of the DOM’s from your Stretch this a.m.
Michelle: I bet with your schedule just being off a bit from your trip and the time change you are just catching up w/ the energy/sleep, etc. I know the time change really affects my DH. For me it is the dark at 4:45 that gets me! YIKES. Leaving work when it is dark is not my favorite.:grumble: Glad your workout went well today. The FIRM was my first DVD’s to start working out at home. They have always had good workouts.
Erika: So glad to hear you are feeling a little better and that others can relate to your symptoms. It must just be a bug of some kind that you all caught. Hope each day does get better & better. Yes, my calves were tight yesterday and even this a.m. Don’t really notice until I go to do something that requires them to work but did feel them last night after relaxing a bit when I got home from TK! Speaking of eBay, I just posted some DVD’s on there for a week and none of them sold. I guess I need to lower the prices some more.
Laurie: Do you have anything on your “wish list” for the TotalFitnessDVD sale during Thanksgiving? I might be looking at the KCM Circuit Burn that Erika & Kara have mentioned!
Kara : :flowerforyou:
Hope you all have a great afternoon & evening – talk to you tomorrow!
Tami0 -
Hi!!!!!!!!! Sorry to be missing for so long, but I had a heck of a week last week & I think I'm just now fully recovered. It's been great catching up a bit on everyone. Michelle, glad your interview went well & you were able to somewhat enjoy the time away. I'm getting excited about STS in January with all of you talking about it lately & how great it is!! I'm also looking forward to hearing thoughts on the new Cathe workouts!!!!
I ended my P90x/x+ hybrid last week & yesterday started a new rotation. Today was Peak 10 Cardio &.....I LOVED it! It was very fun & I don't feel like there will be any dread factor at all for me. Michelle did not 1 thing that I found annoying, the background people I didn't even notice really, the set is open, clean, crisp & makes it very easy to see everyone. I liked the music. There were no moves that I had to modify due to my lower back & not 1 single burpee. The choreography is very easy to pick up. My DH did the workout before me & he made it through the entire thing, 1st time, no problem. This workout is not as hard as the Cardio Strength one to me. I wouldn't even classify this workout as "hard". Hard to me is Month 2 Insanity & that equals dread. Bob's workouts are also pretty darn hard. I burned 498 calories in an hour. For me that is pretty good. Erika, I actually think you may really like this one? It has 5 'blocks' so if you were short on time, you could always just do blocks 1-3 or whatever. This was my 1st time through, so we'll see if I'm still raving about it next week. Atletica is up next!! I love a week of new workouts!!
Hope everyone is doing well & everyone's energy is on its way back up! Ya'll are stressing me out with the talk of XMAS cards & XMAS shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :noway:0 -
The more expensive models such as Bosch, etc all seem to have similar motor problems after several months so I'm hoping that they will design a new model by the new year b/c this black Whirlpool is an eyesore.
Michelle
I LOVE my Bosch dishwasher! I've had it for over 6 years!!0 -
Hello Ladies!!! Happy Hump Day!
Well, I had a pretty good day yesterday...that is, until I decided I'd have some dark chocolate for my after dinner dessert. Well....coming from a person that never has caffeine, I forgot how much caffeine is in chocolate and that meant I couldn't lay still in bed last night. Ugh, I think I slept for about 4 hours max. I was soooo hyper! :grumble: I guess I have learned my lesson!
This morning was KCM Body Training. I really, really like this DVD. It's all work using your body weight, so pushups, planks, leg lifts, fire hydrants, v-ups, etc. I felt great after this one! My newest stress reliever is to crank up my Ipod and dance around, jump rope, do firewalkers, etc for about 15-20 minutes after my strength workout. It's been fun, and a great stress reliever! I just hope my hubby or kids NEVER walk in on me, as I look a little ridiculous! ::blushing:
Kara--Great to hear from you! I am glad things are going well, and you are surviving school! Thank you for the reviews on the Peak 10 cardio! I put it on my Christmas list to my in-laws, hoping they'd get it for me! Are you starting STS on 1/1? I'm thinking I'm going to do an STS rotation starting in 2011, but instead of STS legs, do kettlebells. That would be fun if we were on the same schedule!
Tami--I hope the facial was wonderful! I've never actually had one, but heard they are great!!! I've noticed that things aren't selling as fast on Ebay too. I think it's because of no fees for placing items up for bid, and there's just a lot out there for sale. I just keep re-posting mine. I actually do a search for the same DVD and price mine about $2-$3 below the lowest one. Usually works...eventually! I just sold a couple of them last night actually!
Laurel--Great workout...I love the blast yoiu added at the end! I did put BBL out on Ebay last night, and started the bidding at $15 and have a bid already. I checked the last few that have sold, and they all have sold for over $40, which is more than I paid for my copy. So, I'm hoping to make a little money on it! While I'm thinking of it, can you send me the Undulating rotation you used? I want to do an STS rotation to kick off 2011, but need to decide if I'll do it as designed or do something like Undulating.
Michelle--Glad to hear you are feeling more rested. That always feels good to get a great night of sleep! That workout sounds awesome!!! I just ordered some new vitamins too! I have our nutritionist at work right next to me, so she is always researching foods, vitamins, etc and recommended a company that is actually out of MN--Wellness Resources. I got their multi-vitamin, calcium/vit. d supplement (I'm trying out a few weeks of no dairy, as I think it might be upsetting my stomach) and then got something that blocks out cravings for sugary sweet foods. We'll see how it works!
Laurie--Good Morning!
Off to get ready for work!!!0 -
Morning Ladies,
Had a really bad headache yesterday, so I was a bit cranky all day. I think I needed to take a break from my computer. I had been glued to it all day on Monday, and that was after my lack of sleep. I did get the Core Cardio & Balance workout done Monday night, then on Tuesday I woke up with the headache so took that day off. This morning was Core Synergistics.
Erika, Glad there was not a pregnancy epidemic going on in your office. That bug doens't sound good at all. WTG on making your own workout, that can be a lot of fun. I consume so much caffine that taking it in at night usually doesn't bother me. Now alcohol on the other had can keep me up all night. Don't understand that. STS with kettlebells sounds like a good idea.
Kara, Glad you are doing well. I have those Peak 10 on my wish list, she has been posting on facebook that she is taping some new workouts. I'm guessing that they are for Peak 10, or maybe hoping. I have not been on fb for a couple of days, so she may have posted what they where.
Tami, Hmmm let me see, I have both of the Peak 10 workouts on my wish list and also a kickboxing workout that I saw on there. Will have to go look at TF to see what it was called. An instructor that I have never worked out with, but the preview looked good to me. Otherwise I have not been interested in anything else. I know that Jillian's new ab workout is suppose to be coming out soon too.
Laurel, That is a great idea to get out your Christmas cards so soon. I have every intention of getting mine out early, but we usually end up sending them out just before Christmas. :blushing:
Well I guess I better get to work! :frown:

Morning Ladies,
Last night I did a second cardio session and some leg work and boy I'm sore in my gllutes and inner thighs, which is great b/c not much hits that area Today I'm hoping to do Bob's Pure strength but I may rethink that as Calorie Explosion had me using weights yesterday.
Erika- Last night while catching up on recorded shows with hubby I indulgd in some coffee and popcorn at 10pm last night:blushing: Needless to say I was tossing at 1am and ended up so tired that hubby took over dog and our DD breakfast and bus prep routine. Unfortunately he prepared Kashi Go lean oatmeal and she is sooo finicky...pooor thing:laugh: 1/2 a pound gone...sounds good.
Kara- The reviews on the new ones are iffy and I like Bosch's streamlined look but then the ratings were low at my Lowes..argh:grumble: Cardio peak was great and the moves were easy to do and I was able to do the entire on the first round. I have actually decided to use it 2x a week in the new rotation. With my knees and back Insanity would cripple me...no thanks on that one:laugh:
Laurie- Have you been consuming foods high in sodium or nitrates such as deli meats that may have brought on the awful headaches? I'm noticing that with clean eating even when I try to splurge with KFC grilled chicken that the next morning I feel as if I'm going to die b/c of major headaches....feel better soon:flowerforyou: .
Tami- Oooh I did some online shopping and was able to buy everything for most of the in-laws and niece-in-laws, etc Whew just one more stop to cover the godkids and younger cousins. Yes I definitely use to hate those morning where it is completely dark but I was commuting to work and I still hate coming home at night from the girls activities:laugh:
Laurel- Hope you are enjoying the new house:drinker:

Hi all!
I did STS Disk 13/Legs this morning, and was able to do all of my suggested weights without any problem. My legs were burning by the end of the floor work, but it was a good burn. I followed it up with Turbo Fire 55 EZ. I think I did this workout before, but using the 'new to class' option. I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the workout on Monday, but it was still an effective workout. Chalene was a little more annoying to me, it wasn't as challenging, and the music wasn't as motivating.....but, again, it was still an effective workout and probably one I'll do periodically. My arms and shoulders have been really tight since Monday, and I thought that was a result of the STS workout, but I'm thinking it might have more to do with the Turbo Fire workout. There are so many punches and they are so fast that it wouldn't surprise me that I would feel that in my shoulders.
Kara, great to see you! Congrats on finishing your rotation. Great review of the Peak 10 Cardio workout. I won't be tempted, I won't be tempted......
Erika, dark chocolate can do that to me as well, but usually just specific brands of it. Hope you get more sleep tonight. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I'll happily send you a copy of the undulating rotation that Tami and I have used. It's a seven month rotation but can easily be modified to three months.
Laurie, I'm sorry to hear about the headache. I'm glad you're doing better today. I hope you're enjoying your recovery week. I think you're going to need it before attacking those Month 2 Insanity workouts (isn't that up next for you?)
Speaking of Insanity, here is a link to more information on the upcoming Asylum workouts. I don't know if all of this is true since it isn't coming from Shaun T. (I have a tendency to only believe original sources, but some people at Videofitness seem to know this lady, and they think this is accurate), but I hope it is. It sounds great!
http://www.facebook.com/notes/training-by-traci/insanity-the-asylum/170131736338587
Tami, hope you enjoyed the facial. I, too, have never had one. I get all self-aware when I'm walking through the makeup section in a department store thinking the ladies are probably saying 'She needs a facial!' :blushing: I started writing myself notes today for the next rotation. :drinker: I'm not going to finalize anything until I see more about these new workouts because I definitely want to include them but don't know how to yet.
Michelle, no doubt you were awake having popcorn and coffee late at night! It's the popcorn that would get me more than the coffee. It always makes me feel uncomfortably full. I think it might be wise to not do weights today if you did some yesterday and you're sore from it.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi Ladies ~
This a.m. was STS #13 Legs for me as well. Felt good and the bonus work at the end was perfect! Tonight will be Spinning after work for my cardio.
Kara: Great to hear from you! That’s fun you are doing a week of “new” routines. I look forward to doing some new ones as well when Cathe’s arrive and I will be happy to report back! STS in January, how exciting. I can’t wait to hear how you like it. Hang in there with school.
Erika: The facial was really nice. I have only had one before this. Makes your skin feel really good that’s forsure and motivates me to do it more than once a year but we’ll see! Spending my $$$ on new DVD's sounds more exciting! :blushing: OH NO on the chocolate and keeping you awake. I don’t have that problem with caffeine …. Which is good I suppose but when you need a “pick me up” it doesn’t really help. :ohwell: I love your stress reliever you are doing, that’s great and I am sure it helps shake up the energy in your body – revving it up a bit! Glad you are feeling a little better and the energy is coming back a bit. Is work going a little better these days or the same?
Laurie: Sorry to hear about your headaches the last couple days. I hope they go away, pain in any area can be so tiring and headaches are no fun at all. It will be fun to see what DVD’s are on sale. Not that I am “needing” any, but if they are on SALE …. :blushing: KCM might be fun and Peak has my attention as well. We will see its fun to look & I should be sharing in Laurel’s mantra “I won’t be tempted . . .”
Michelle: Let me know how you like Bob’s Pure Strength – I have been anxious to try that one out. I am putting it into my new rotation on one of the total body training days. I really enjoy the cardio one so I think this one will be good too. Kara had mentioned she liked PS even more. That’s too bad on the bad night’s sleep, hopefully tonight is good and you catch up on sleep. Have you heard anything from the job interview?
Laurel: The facial was good. I was glad I did it one time before because I was able to relax a little bit more this time. That’s funny on getting a new rotation down on paper –  we are definitely on the same thought process! I started a little worksheet the other day, going off of that rotation I had shared with you last week and plugging in various workouts. I’m with you on including the new workouts into my next rotation! :drinker: Really want to see how they can fit in and when, etc. It will be fun to share ideas. Maybe I could even get in some Insanity?
Hope you all have a great day! :flowerforyou:

Good Morning Ladies!!! I am feeling more and more energetic as the week goes on, so I'm thinking I'm back 100%! This morning I rocked KCM Cardio Blast Plyo Blast workout! My 7yo was my cheerleader for the last 15 minutes, it was pretty fun!
Tami, or should I call you legs?? I'm getting excited for my next STS rotation so I can really work the legs. I think I'll either do all kettlebells for legs days or alternate one week STS legs, one week kettlebells....either way, I'm excited! Sounds like the facial was fun!! Yes, that darn chocolate had be buzzing for most of the morning yesterday too! Ugh, caffeine and I are not friends! I actually get really irritated and crabby if I have too much caffeine as I can't focus and I get all giggly and jittery. Makes it tough to focus on work!
Laurel--Nice work on the leg workouts, and the TF workouts too! Sounds like that one from the other day worked your shoulders good!!! I love when my shoulders are sore from a good kickboxing routine! I'll just call you when I need to find the "gun show!" :drinker:
Michelle--Wow, way to get in that 2nd cardio. Since I'm on the nicknames this morning, I'll just call you Buns of Steel!
Laurie--I hope your headache has gone away and you were able to enjoy the rest of the day pain free!! Your nickname is Gumby...heck, I think it's even Yoga day for you, right???!
Kara--Hello SuperWoman!!!
Ok, done with the nicknames!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day...off to work!0 -
Morning Ladies,
Today is suppose to be my yoga day, but it got pushed to tomorrow because of my extra day off. So this morning was Insanity Cardio Recovery. My headache is all gone, I'm sure it was my usual sinus headache. With the front changes going on this time of the year I usually get them when I wake up in the mornings. Happens when we get rain storms mostly.
Michelle, Way to work those legs! I try to stay away from to high sodium items, no deli meat for us. I'm thinking it was the combo of tired eyes and sinuses. I had been on my computer at work longer than I usually have to be on Monday.
Laurel, You can trust what Traci said, she is actually a friend of mine. :blushing: I'm going to be ordering that Asylum series as soon as they are available. I think you are right on the shoulder work, when I do kickboxing with upper body work, I end up with tight shoulders. Yep I will be starting this next week with a month 2 Insanity, have actually been thinking of putting in the Sports Conditioning workout. Will have to review that one to make sure that there isn't to much upper body work. I seem to remember that in the gymnastic section he did some of that.
Tami, Oh heck I'm tempted! I have been holding off on the Peak 10 since they came out. How much longer do you and Laurel have on your current rotation? Even though you enjoy the STS workouts, I'm guessing that you are excited to try some different workouts.
Erika, So glad that you are back to feeling like yourself. That is so cute that you 7yo was there to cheer you on at the end. Usually that is when we start flagging in energy. I think I got the gumby thing from Tony, he says it in Core Synergistics. It must have stuck in my head. I'm ready for some yoga tomorrow. I'm surprised how flexible I have been getting, getting my nose closer to my knees all the time.
Have a great day!
Laurie0 -
Morning ladies,
It is always great to come on and cheer each other on plus also see who is rocking what workout So last night the 4 yr old came home from swimming and said she was not feeling too well which led to a temperature and then stomach cramps at 2:30am. Then Mr. Capone decided 4:30am was time enough for him and after doing his business opted to bark the house down for two hrs straight:mad:
Pure Burn Super strength...whewww within ten minutes beads of sweat, at min 45 my triceps started to have spasms and with 10minutes left I wanted to crawl upstairs and hide:noway: I wonder if he is willing to move in and train me:laugh: I'm so glad that I bought this dvd and the only negataives is the modified exerciser who seems ready to cry and tends to make these ugly faces:laugh: Although it does not hit the lower body much it definitely creates a great calorie burn and my HR clocked on 900cals but I have not adjusted based on my recent weight loss so I deducted when I logged in my exercise today. ****1/2stars
Kara- I found at least several Bosch with great reviews those are also the ones closer to 1000.00 but I'm afraid to mix up appliances especially when it is time to sell:blushing:, although I love the look and it is very quiet.. Superwoman:bigsmile:
Tami- The position starts in the new year but so far no word. Although I would love the position I also believe that if it is meant for me I will get in so that has taken away any stress or anxiety while I wait for a positive or negative outcome:laugh: Legs of Steel thanks for asking .
Erika- Yes, these buns of steel were screaming when I was squatting this morning and I'm not sure if it was the Callanetics, Plyo cardio or Athletic drills in Calorie Explosion that worked those buried muscles:laugh: Glad to hear about the energy..my B12 drops seem to have made a difference for me plus I started to take the rest of my multi which has Iron in them and at times I can be borderline anemic. Nice to have a nutritionist to talk to about good products.
Laurie- Don't feel bad I buy the cards and then forget to mail them..hence I have several boxes from two years ago:blushing:
Laurel- I started drinking coffee when hubby was in Korea and I was FT student and substitute teacher. Ten years later he will make a pot for me before he leaves for work and then I reciprocate in the evening. Cofffe and movies is how we spend our quality time in the late evenings so unfortunately when he made popcorn and coffee, I accepted the offering and enjoyed our time together Too bad he fell into a deep sleep while I tossed and turn:laugh: . Those little moments of quality time:bigsmile:
Off to feed these muscles some carbs...well worth the pain
