Nutella, what's up with that?

And speaking of Nutella, there's these glorious spheres of glory... Ferrero Rocher.
See the brown stuff enveloping the hazlenut? That's Nutella. The same company that makes Nutella also makes these. I legitimately ate a box of these every week until I started on MFP.
Edit: Ha, I effed-up the sizing. Oops.
I removed the pics, but you can't put me around those. I just eat the whole box.0 -
People love Nutella because it's like eating icing out of the jar with the illusion that there is something good in there. Hershey's chocolate icing taste better to me and a little healthier (as comparing junk food goes). mmmmmm.......icing.0

What's wrong with you???

Not true, at least not in my case. I eat it because I love it. If I had a choice of icing or nutella, I choose nutella. It's the chocolate hazelnut flavor combined. yum :-)0 -
10g of Nutella mixed with 125g of greek yogurt....mmmmmmmm
Nutella melted into warm milk.....mmmmmmmm
Nutella on oaty biscuits.....mmmmmmm
Or just straight out of the tub with a spoon. That'll do.0 -
I believe you can by cake frosting with fewer calories than nutella.0

I've never tried Nutella after scanning the list of ingredients but your recipe sounds good. How much is a serving?

I wish it was a bit less sweet, but I do like it. If it WAS less sweet, I would probably eat way too much of it. I like to mix it in with greek yogurt to subdue the sweetness or spread some nutella and cream cheese on top of a bagel or toast. Yum!!0

I don't understand the obsession with Nutella either. I've had a jar in my cupboard for months, as my boyfriend likes it so I bought it for him.
It's OK on toast, but other things are better. But eaten straight out of the jar it's horrible.0 -
I love Nutella! My daughter loves it more which is why we have a big jar of it in the pantry. Unfortunately I don't think she eats it fast enough so I feel I must help her with that, haha.0
-
I love it, too much. I recently went to look in the jar to see how much was left and ended up eating about 5 or 6 teaspoons just standing there. Not buying Nutella anymore! I either eat none of it or all of it.0

Nutella was my favorite guilty pleasure until I discovered Biscoff spread. Now THAT stuff is heavenly!0
-
I just had Nutella lol. Grew up with it, so I just really like it.0
-
I finally tried it after years of hearing about it thinking how good can it be? It had me at "hello."0

Haleluja!0

It's the best. But I need to stop buying it, because I can't stop eating it during the weekends! Like yesterday, I had like 5/7 cookies with nutella spread on them and milk YUM!0
-
I buy it once in a while for the children. They rave about it. I don't get it.0
-
If you don't like it, that means more for those of us who do.
Even before I started counting calories, I'd have my husband hide the jar so I had to ask where it was (and thus think before I ate it.) And I'm not usually that fond of really sweet things.0 -
I don't like Nutella either, maybe because I don't like hazelnuts or things that are too sweet. I prefer peanut butter, but I only have it on top of my rice cake (yes, I know many people don't like them either), or a slice of bread specially if I spread a light laughing cow triangle first.0

Nutella is crack. I'm a crackhead.
That is my life right there.0 -
I find if you put Nutella on rice cakes, the AVERAGE calorie count per mouthful is greatly reduced which in turn makes it a reduced-calorie food. Perfect.0

Nutella = Marmite (its a Love/Hate thing).0

Anything I can mindlessly eat out of a jar with a spoon is dangerous to have in the house. I have to hide the stuff, though it is sinfully good on graham crackers.0

Nutella is to the French what peanut butter is to the American until recently, for some reason it all switched around. The French are now crazy about PB the same way the American are about Nutella. I grew up in France, so I know and I love Nutella but when I moved years ago, to the US it was not available yet and I discovered PB. I love them both in small quantity. Every body's tastes are different
This is how I first discovered Nutella. Went to France when I was 16 and they have the stuff in hotel dining areas like we have those jelly packs for toast. Thank you France0 -
Nutella taste like chocolate frosting, with a hint of burnt peanuts....gross!!!0
-
Hey, anything mankind can do that makes it acceptable to eat frosting on toast is OK by me.0
-
I have never tasted it. I don't want to taste it, just in case I find that I like it.0
-
Never had it before. Guess I just stay away from it.0

Nutella is like one of the few sweet things i actually like... I just had some, spread a tablespoon of it over a warmed up whole wheat pita bread and rolled it up
i have this thing where i toast a blueberry bagel, spread a tablespoon of Trader Joe's Speculoos Cookie Butter (which is made from like coconut oil and crushed up gingerbread biscuits), then marble in half a tablespoon of Nutella, and then drizzle the top with like a 1/2 tsp of honey, lol.... i love it it's a little high calorie (400 cal) so i only make that once in a blue moon.0
