One of three things lately:
Fruit muesli with 1 chopped banana and sweetened soy milk
Oatmeal (made with milk) with peanut butter and strawberry jam
1 Sesame seed bagel with cream cheese
I've been opting for the bagel most days recently.0 -

I had thawed pork chops out for last night's supper, but Margie brought a rotisserie chicken home with her from work. So I used the pork chops to make fajitas this morning. It turned out pretty good.
438g pork chops
295g onion
93g mini sweet peppers
283g diced tomatoes with green chilies
93g tomatoes
22g fajita seasoning mix
2 tbs dried garlic
61 calories per 56g serving
I served it on a bed of spinach, topped with plain Greek yogurt and 4 cheese Mexican. Yum.

Margie had the day off, thanks to Good Friday, and she wanted French Toast for breakfast. So I Googled away, and combined parts of three recipes to come up with Larro's Zesty French Toast. Turned out pretty good.
Here it is:
197g {4 large} eggs
142g 2% milk
28g orange juice {too lazy to zest}
2g vanilla extract
2/3 Tbs cinnamon
195g {8 slices} bread

4 slices of Canadian bacon, 1/2c egg white sprinkled with 7g of fat free cheddar, 1 slice of American bacon, 1 mini blueberry crepe, coffee. Total is around 350 cals. Then went and rowed 100 off during break.0

Had sauteed 2c zukes, 1.5 spinach, 1/2 c chicken breast in a tsp of tamari, then 1/2 c egg whites on top, and 50g of canned pink salmon on the side. Delish. Comes in about 309 calories, 53g protein and 5 g fat. Not sure if that's too much protein to eat but I love it.0

After laying around collecting dust for weeks, this thread blew up this morning.

My usual weekday breakfast these days:
*two Applegate Farms turkey breakfast sausage links
*a Fage 2% plain Greek yogurt (I actually prefer the plain)
*a bowl of oatmeal cooked in the microwave with 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries and cinnamon (it tastes like a berry pie but is super healthy!)
*a smoothie made with one cup of unsweetened coconut milk or hemp milk, two cups of organic greens such as kale or spinach, and one banana
The macros vary depending on the "milk" used, greens used, and size of the banana, but it's approximately:
600 calories, 86g carbs, 17g fat, 37g protein, 30g sugar (entirely natural sugar though)0 -
