Today I completed the dreaded c25k week 5 day 3, the one with 20 consecutive minutes of running. Not only did I get through it, I KILLED it. It felt so good to be able to run that long.

Also, I have officially started my "fat clothes" box. It's filling up fast. When it's full I will take it to Goodwill.

I don't have a lot of old "thin" clothes, but I went shopping in my sister's closet the other day. She was clearing stuff out to take to Goodwill and so I took some of her old things and gave her some of my old things to take with her to Goodwill when she went. It felt really good to get rid of some of those things and I got a bunch of new clothes for free.

I think my legs look good. I admit that my legs have never been my biggest problem area, that has been and still is my stomach, but I have noticed lately that I think I have really nice legs even when I wear my size medium workout shorts that are much shorter than I used to think I could get a way with. I can get away with it.

Today I was shaving my legs and I thought, "what the heck is this lump on the back of my leg??" It was a muscle. LOL

I finally ran 3.1 miles yesterday...and it was actually pretty fun My furthest distance had been 2.4 miles, but I was determined to finally start getting to that 3 mile mark, and I didn't even feel like dying after I was done

. I decided earlier this week that I want to be a runner, to be one of those people I used to look at while they were running in the park and would think to myself 'Yeah, right...I'd faint if I tried to run for more than 20 seconds'. It's not a chore for me anymore...and I look forward to getting out in the park and just enjoying myself and having fun. Not something I would've been saying a couple months ago, that's for sure!

As far as I can remember, my waist was always 27" since I was 12. It went up to 30" for a short period of time and I was able to keep it around 27" for the past 8 years (I just turned 31). Just when I thought there's no way I can cut anymore fat there (thanks to my genes, lol), it went down to 26.5" last year around this period of time (was doing P90X3 for a while). In the beginning of last month, I suspected there's a problem with my measuring tape cuz I kept seeing measurement around 26- 26.25" (13-15th week into ICF5x5). Now, May of 2016, a year after that remarkable 26.5", I'm 100% sure my waist has gone done to 26". Not the 25" my mom was always proud of when she's in my age (we're in similar height & built), but I'm still very proud of myself. Not just for the hard works but the fact that I didn't have to quit my favorite chocolate products (suggested by multiple people in the past 10 years) to get the result like this

I have a lot lately. Chatting with a stranger and the topic of me being a mom to twins (+ a younger daughter too) and the other person says, "you don't look like you could have had twins!". Showing someone a "before" picture who has never known the "old" me and they comment "I would never guess you were heavy before and I wouldn't have recognized you on the street". Realizing how shocking it is that I was once carrying around 97 lbs of extra weight. The human body is just amazing.

Eating 3/4 of a side of onion rings at a restaurant for lunch and - although it's not a victory - I felt sick to my stomach for hours afterward. just not "used" to it anymore. Previously I loved off of glutinous fried high calorie foods.

made pumpkin waffles this morning-with whole wheat flour. Logged recipe on MFP, entered into my diary. Only ate 1 waffle and froze the rest for later. (Previously I would have eaten about 4)

Went for my 6 monthly fitness assessment at the gym and was told if they had a prize for the greatest overall progress that I'd get it! It felt like a nice pat on the back for all my hard work.
