I’m on vacation in South Dakota and I still got up this morning and ran over 3 miles on the treadmill ☺️24

This might sound weird.
I can get out of the recliner using just my legs, without using my hands to push off the armrests. 😓
Not weird. Very good! Google “the stand sit test”. I don’t know your age, but the ability to stand up easily, especially from the floor, is a predictor of longevity.10 -
I've been attending classes in sports that I've never tried before. And I am keeping up with the others! Not as perfectly, of course, but still, I make it to the end without dying of exhaustion or giving up.
That's a new one for me, as the biggest person in the room I was always the first one to fail and thus kinda mentally made it OK for me to give up if that makes sense?27 -
I just went through my closet and every.single.thing I have in there either fit or was too big. I have a huge pile of clothes to donate and another huge pile that need to be altered if I want to keep wearing them!
I also tried on a dress that I've had for 11+ years that I wore when I left my wedding reception, but haven't been able to wear for ages. I kept it purely because I'm a sentimentalist.
... But it fit! 🤯28 -
I finally decided to try on dresses smaller then a size 12. My top half is larger then my bottom half. And so even though I have lost so much weight I still fear dresses. Well these two are a size 6 and an 8. Amazing. They zipped up and everything.
That black dress looks super good on you. I want it too!
I have a very similar body shape to you. (: I find I only have to size up to a 10 when a dress has sleeves. Otherwise, I'm a 6-8 as well!

I closed my daily food log last night and got the message “In five weeks you’d be 139.5 pounds”. Who, me?20

Went to VS Pink and purchased a top and leggings alongside my teenage daughter. She gave me the proud daughter look.24

Walked in a fun run on Sunday. 5k on a hilly course and I averaged 16 minutes a mile. That felt good!23

Last night I was the only person who showed up for my Grit class, and I was comfortable enough that when the instructor asked if I still wanted to do the class, I said yes. Also it made me work harder knowing I was the only one there for her to critique.28

Wearing shorts to the gym!19

Wore this swimsuit all day every day for a long weekend without feeling the need to constantly cover up

Went for a 1.4 mile walk this evening, instead of sitting around and feeling sorry for myself.
This may seem quite pathetic but it's a big thing for me as it marks the start on my road to recovery.
It wasn't easy, I was aching and in pain but I did it. And the second NSV is that I listened to my poor, battered body and didn't push it beyond capability today.47 -
I ran a 5k with my daughter and survived to not want to run another one24

It was that time of month and I was so ravenously hungry I was practically chewing the walls (whyyyyy). But instead of binging, I just dropped my goal to half a pound for a few days so I'd have a couple hundred extra calories without ruining my progress. That's pretty good for someone who used to just empty the fridge. =P
Also signed up for a gym and met with a female personal trainer. I've been doing good with diet for almost 5 months so I'm pushing my own boundaries again. I hate being sweaty in public but... I don't want to be weak.26 -
I just put my goal dress on without undoing the side zip. I remember when I could barely get it on with the zip undone, let alone zip it.28

That’s fabulous! I’ve been here long enough now I can remember when it was still a goal dress! Good for you (and good for me)!

One of the dresses I thrifted as an in-progress dress is a wrap dress. For a while, I've just had a lot of slack at the end of the waist tie, but now it's long enough to where I can wrap it around my waist twice and tie it. I can now have a very cute bow tie instead of a big floppy one lol.24

I fit into an XL t-shirt and actually look good in it. When I started, I was wearing a 3xl and bulging out of it.20

Got back on a bike today, under supervision and in a (very) safe place as cars scare me.
I was terrified. Only cycled half a mile as my hands and left forearm were being troublesome but I did it.
It was a very emotional half mile.45 -
I haven't been able to fully squat 275 lbs yet, but I hit it from dead stop this morning!

According to my husband, I no longer snore. I'm so happy about this!!27

I went to see the Lion King last night and my butt fit comfortably in the movie theater seat without the armrests pinching me! I also wore a favorite shirt that I haven't been able to fit in for a long time. It was a good evening.22

200 meter row under 43 seconds. I felt strong!20

Not health-related at all, work-related. I've had three schools contact me to come in and be an independent contractor! I teach violin, privately and at a university, but it's nice to be recognized by my colleagues as a good teacher!31

Generally I wear jeans with some stretch to them. This morning as I was rushed to get ready for work, I pulled out the last pair of clean jeans I had left in my dresser.... a pair of "last resort" jeans with little to NO stretch!! URRGH.... I was certain they would give me a bit of a muffin top and I would need to change into a looser shirt to feel comfortable. "Great, I'm already running late. Now I have to find another shirt?!" I grumble under my breath..... as I put on the jeans, they button and zip.... "Wait.... can it be?? No muffin top?!! I don't need to change my shirt?!!!" Angels sang from above and my morning and mood improved by about 300%.40

Finally ran 13.11 miles on the treadmill today. Slow at 3:11 But I Did It! Now to work on the time be for my "official" half marathon in Jan. Hoping for under 3:00.

I have two!
I was trying out new clothes at the shop yesterday, and since it's notorious for long waiting lines, as well as hot cabins, in order to rush with things I successfully pushed down and pulled back up a skirt that fits snugly around my waist - twice! The material is polyester with no stretch, and the skirt has a zipper, not an elastic band. I'm still wondering how did such a narrow waistband went over and down my hips! I feel so proud of myself.
Second, also yesterday, I was lying on the floor on an exercise mat and did some light exercises for glutes and tummy, because I don't want to just lose weight, I want to have lean muscles, too. In between sets I put my hand on my lower belly and noticed how much my hip bones are protruding as I'm laying down! I could follow the shape with my fingers. It was fascinating.15 -
I walked up the 6 flights of stairs to the office and didn't feel like I needed medical attention at the top. Still out of breath but baby steps...29
