    You guys better not being saying "not 1 piece" knowing you're going to eat MORE than 1. haha\

    So far so good today. No sweets, just a banana for my snack. Someone brought in potato bacon soup for soup Thursday today. Yum. Not sure how many calories are in it, but YUM!

    No, I mean I am not eating ANY candy today...I promise! So far so good! Also, NO little debbies for me either!

    I just had Japanese for lunch again...it's so good...I put in all my planned eating today and I"m over by like 140 calories...so I think that's pretty good. Especially when I do 30 minutes of some kind of exercise, I will be in the "green" again then! YAY...I will consider today a good day!

    I just changed what I'm having for dinner...and my calories went down to just 2 over now!!!! YAY!!! Still gotta get the exercise in somehow! I can, I will!

    by the way, we're having biscuits and gravy and bacon and eggs for dinner now! YUMMMMMMMM

    OK,, I have made it to 7 p.m. without eating ANY candy or Sweets at all! If I made it this far I can make it til bed time (9 pm) And I didn't eat as much supper as I normally would either...hmmmmm...

    For my exercise...I walked one of my dogs (a boxer) on a leash (she's not leash trained) down and up my driveway....it took about 25 minutes all total...so there, I got some kind of exercise in. I'm 2 out of 7 on the exercise...I said 3 days of exercise. I plan to do something tomorrow too, and possibly even Saturday...that would give me 4 out of 7...even better than I plan! Woo hooo I can do this!

    What a bomb Thursday was for me. I ate a giant cheese burger and sweet potato fries for lunch and as if that wasn't enough I ordered chinese food for dinner...AGH!!! I felt like puking by last night.

    But I am here to admit it. Plus I have to admit something else. I ate 3 fun size candies. I am guilty. But I want to be honest. I will say it would have been more had I not committed to not eating it. Every time I reached for a candy I thought of that and turned away many times.

    No exercise either yesterday so I am only 2/7 so far instead of 3/7.

    Today I am going to try to eat as low carb as possible and NO CANDY

    Yesterday I had 0 fun sized candy (mostly because they're all gone). I caved in at lunch time and had a soda. I looked at the baked potato soup and just couldn't stomach the thought of drinking water with that. Plus I had a cookie for an evening snack. I was still barely under calories for the day, but I need to try to do better.

    No exercise. No time.

    Today I have a healthy lunch planned out: salad & Lean Cuisine. I promise to have water instead of soda. Not sure what's going on for dinner. Need to sneak some exercise in at some point.

    Hope everyone's doing well. I'm not doing perfect, but I'm doing A LOT better than if I was not being held accountable!!

    I'm glad we are owning up to our mistakes...but I'm also glad that it was in the back of your mind when you did do it. I myself, didn't eat any sweets, no candy, no little debbies. I think I did pretty good yesterday. I don't drink Cokes so that is not a problem for me.

    Gina, all I drink now is water. Very rarely do I need something flavored with my meals. See I would have looked at that soup and thought about all the deliciousness in there with the bacon and cheese and a drink with flavor would have just messed those flavors up! Water is good with my meals now! But then again, I've been drinking only water now for about 7 years....so I guess it's a learned habit.

    I'm going to say no candy again today. And No Little Debbie's. I can do this.

    I am also glad to have this thread to report in on and have accountability. It's really what I needed. I think it's going to help me to make promises and report in. I won't get to exercise today because we have a ballgame tonight but I'll be cheering on our boys!!! Tomorrow I will definitely get some kind of exercise in...probably will weed eat again, my yard still looks so frightful!

    Lu, I can go long periods of time without the soda and drinking only water, once I make that a habit. For some reason, I'm not practicing that habit this week. I figured (or justified it) that this week I'll work on logging, exercising and reducing sweets. Next week I'll try to tighten up the water only habit.

    There's no candy in the office. This morning the CEO had a meeting onsite and served fresh fruit. Yumm! Great afternoon snack: pineapples, grapes and blueberries! Sweeter and more satisfying AND it was all fun-sized!!

    I"m jealous of your fun sized snacks!!!! They sound soooo yummy!

    I have had no sweets again today! I did eat some chips for snack...but at this point, I beat the sweet monster! And that is MAJOR in my book!

    Now I'm about to be off to the high school ball game and I'll have my hot dog and nachos...not the healthiest but could be worse, I have to share my nachos with Lettie so I'll get about half of them! LOL

I'm not happy with myself...I logged it, and I had the calories when I added in my wrestling with a 2 year old exercises...I'm give out now and so ready for bed. It was a rough ball game

    So there, I confessed it. Tomorrow I will start again!

    YAY I had no candy yesterday. Late last night I thought Oh 1 piece won't hurt. And instead I ate 2 clementines. Yum. So I made it one whole day with no candy or sweets.

    Yesterday wasn't the best food day, but since I ate such an aweful lunch I worked out and walked 2 miles. YAY and ate only soup and crackers for dinner.


    Pray for me to control myself today. We have a birthday party at the bowling alley, I love their fries and pizza. I am going to be strong. Bad thing is it is right during lunch 11-1 p.m.

    Hope ya'll have a great Saturday. 2 miles down already for me this morning.

    I love my penance for eating the donut holes...good news about them. There are still some left, and i was going to eat them all for breakfast...but I took a bite and GROSS....they are stale and yukky so I spit it out and will not be tempted by them again! YAY!!!

    I was going to make biscuits and gravy and eggs and bacon for breakfast today...but I couldn't get my son to go to the store and get eggs and bacon for me...so I ate Corn chex cereal instead. I think Lettie ate more of them than I had. And all she can talk about this morning is there's a tiger in the bathroom...I think it's because she keeps seeing the LSU tiger on TV when they are talking about the LSU vs. Auburn game today! LOLOL (I thought you'd get a kick out of that Katrina!)

    Today is gonna be a busy day...we have to close the pool at the old house so they can rent it out. I'm glad that we'll finally be getting some money to save now!!! We'll still be broke but we can build up a good fall back savings!

    Off topic....I'm not gonna say no sweets today...although I will try, I may have to have a candy bar today....it's ballgame day!!! RTR!

    The party I went to was scheduled so everyone could be home in time for the LSU v. Auburn game. I might just lay down and rest while I watch it.

    I ate a small piece of Bday cake, it was too sweet to eat the whole thing and 2 and half slices of cheese pizza.

    I will have to work that off after I rest.

    I did weigh myself this a.m. for whatever reason. I ate gumbo and a lime with salt last night so you think I would know better than to get on the scale after having all that sodium.

    I'm not going to count it as a weight, cuz I plain don't like it. LOL. So I will wait until Tuesday.

    Tomorrow I go find out the sex of the bambino. So excited. I will text Steph and Beth when I know. Regina I would text you too, but I don't have your number.:flowerforyou:

    What a terrible day for me today, BLAH, AGH!!!!!!!!


    I've felt aweful all day, almost like I had the flu. Just felt bad but with no symptoms. So when I feel bad I make myself eat thinking it will make me feel better, WRONG, it just made me feel worse. Why must I turn to food to fix my problems, stupid food.

    Well at least I logged it all. Go look, sausage, hot dogs, enough bread to kill a horse, no veggies, no fruit....well it is over now.

    Time to drink lots of water to flush out that sodium.

    Oh on a positive----No Candy today.

    AWESOME job on the NO Candy!!! I can't say that...but I think i said I wasn't promising this weekend right? LOL

    I didn't have that much candy, but I did have some. and I logged it. I am working up a plan for Lucy and I to start eating healthier foods, Lucy is such a beautiful girl. I would really like for her to get back to her High school weight before it really gets out of hand for her. She needs some guidance and won't do it on her own. If I fix it for her and measure it out...she'll be fine! We are going to start with our choices now and come December we are really going to get into it heavy!

    I've watched the Zumba infomercial and I'm contemplating getting that. It would be $72 with shipping and everything but it is several DVDs and looks like fun actually...I would never do that in public, but in my basement perhaps! I want my body back!

    So here's to MONDAY! Tomorrow is one week since we started holding ourselves accountable! I will say I'm doing a lot better this way than I was! At least I care what I put in my mouth now!

    Now off to get ready for work!

    My appointment is from 1:40-2:20 today.

    My gym just started a Zumba class on Monday's and Saturday's the 2 busiest days there. I thought about going tonight and trying it out. I had thought about buying the dvd's too. I'll let you know how it goes if I go.

    I went to a step aerobics class today because my walking was getting boring. OMG I should have wore my HRM, I know my heart reate is not supposed to get that high while I'm preggers. I liked the class though and the teacher was really sweet she was more than happy to accomodate my lack of experience as well as physical health level.

    Nicholas started his first day at private school today, keep him in your prayers.

    Hey guys! I didn't do well with logging over the weekend. It's such an inconvenience when you're busy. I did try to use self-control, and I guess I must have done well since the scale's down. It's only a pound (1.7lbs. actually), but it's in the right direction! Woo hoo!

    No sweets today, not even a soda. I'm getting back on the water wagon. Instead of having a 750 calorie 3-way for lunch (chili, spaghetti & cheddar cheese), I had a salad and a child's size 3-way instead. You guys might not understand how big a deal chili is here in Cincinnati, but it's HUGE. And I work for 1 of the 2 big local chili restaurant chains in the corporate office. I get to eat lunch for free at our restaurant down the road. We do have a few healthy options, but mostly it's greasy & cheesy.

    Awesome job losing 1.7 lbs (that's almost 2 lbs!!!!) I"m sure I will not have lost when I step on them tomorrow...I wasn't really expecting to though so I can't complain...I just don't want to gain!

    Katrina, I'll be waiting anxiously for your report!!!! :):):)

    I had a HUGE lunch. 4 piece fish platter from Captain D's...why? I had a coupon...I intended to only eat 2 pieces but it was so yummy I ate all 4 of them...so my today is wasted! I'll try something good for me for dinner and see if I can undo what I just did! I knew better, but I did it anyway. Why do I do that?

    No candy today though...can't say that after I get home I won't get into some though...not going to promise, for some reason I'm feeling like comfort food will get me through today! I know I know...

    Going to check out the zumba stuff again....

    I haven't had captain D's in so long. I don't think they even have one here anymore. we used to go there every Sunday after church.

    REgina, that is awesome almost 2 lbs. I wish girl. You are doing great. Weekends can be a diet killer, stay strong.

    I went to the Zumba class last night. It has been a long time since I've done group classes. But 2 in one day, what was I thinking??


    Zumba as my gym did it was okay. I wouldn't say it was something I loved. The movements were a little awkward and it moves fast in some segments. The music was okay, but it is all latin based if you don't like it you won't like zumba. Plus they say "Zumba" during part of the songs. I don't know how it compares to the videos, but I probably wouldn't buy them now that I've done it. But let me say, I did have a major calorie burn. I thought at first oh these moves are awkward but when I'm done I'll have had fun, I didn't really feel that way, I felt worked out for sure, but no like I had fun. Just My opinion.

    Oh and today is weigh in day. Can ya'll believe it has been a week. I may not have any weightloss, i don't know yet, but my mood and motivation have been inspired.

    Thanks for the info on the zumba...I had wondered if I would like it because of the music...but apparently it works. I'm not a big "being around a bunch of people and sweating" person, so I might be ok with the videos...maybe I'll look around for cheaper ones...just to try it out...like ebay or something....of course ebay isn't so cheap anymore is it?

    Anyway, I just love that 4D pic of your new little man Katrina, I never realized that this early they look like that! I must say I'm amazed!

    what did Nicholas say? I need info girl! LOL You need to go blog all of this so I can keep up with your pregnancy! (hint Hint)

    OK, I did ok yesterday because I ate 1 cup of food for dinner, only 1 cup...it was rice, brown gravy and 3 oz of beef tips...that was all I had. I don't anticipate any weight loss but I'll have to report on that later.

    So I suppose I need to set new goals for this week.

    I will aim for 5 out of 7 days. I think that is a more reachable goal for me right now. After I workout 2 days in a row I am utterly exhausted and almost sleep or lay in the bed all day.

    Food goal is to meet my calorie target 6 out of 7 days. That's right only 6 days, because I want to know I don't have to be perfect all the time, but do my best most of the time.

    Weight for today...,240. I don't remember last weeks weight. But I looked and it said Most women gain 1 lb a week during their second trimester. But obese women should wait until their last 6 months to gain 1 lb a week. I am almost to that point. I think last weeks weight was 239.6 so that is awesome if I haven't gained but that much.

    Okay I remembered wrong, I was 238.8 which means I did gain 1.2 lbs:embarassed: . I'm okay with it. at least it wasn't a 2 lb gain this week:bigsmile:

    Maybe next weigh in will be better. I'll really try to focus on my eating this week, I focused more on the exercise last week. I need to find that balance.

    Nicholas was very excited, he wanted a boy. He came up with a name Rocco. Rick doesn't like it at all...lol.:laugh:


    Oh and the baby is about the size of an large apple. Can you believe they look like that so tiny.

    I weighed...NOT pretty. I didn't record my weight last week, but I am up 10 lbs from the last weight I did put down. 10 POUNDS...how did that happen. I'm telling you something is just screwing with me. I'm actually up 4 pounds from yesterday. It's gotta be water weight.

    None the less, I brought a plum, and an apple to eat today. I'm going to see if I can flush out my body and see what happens. I"m incredibly swollen, and the weather is playing a big part in that. We are expecting rain today and every time we expect rain, I swell up and weigh more. It's the Low pressure that does it, I'm thoroughly convinced of that! I cannot accept the weight I saw this morning...no way. I put it in though so I DO expect a huge loss next week!

    I bought some of the whole grain pasta, and some no fat ricotta cheese, I also bought ground pork to use instead of beef....I'm going to see if I can make a healthy pasta bake tonight. I'm actually looking forward to it! Yummmm.
