    Today's Weight in - 236lbs...

    Not a big fan of the scale because I fluctuate so much... but this indicates a 2lb gain since I joined on Wednesday... I have however been in the gym everyday for two hours a day except Sunday... including this morning... working my tail off.. I just have to keep at it.. have an appointment on the 8th with the doctor to possibly change my thyroid meds..

    We will see!

    So, this is my first weigh in. Congratulations to all of those who have lost weight this week. For those feeling a little stuck, hang in there. We can do this....or at least try our best and be closer to our goal weight. Whatever progress we make, whether we lose 10 or 30lbs by Christmas, we will at least be headed in the right direction!

    So the results are in this week I weighed in at 228.0. That is a 2.8 lb. loss, not too bad considering a had a horrible day on Saturday.

    Looks like everyone is doing great! We all made it through week 1!

    I'm off to try and get started on the challenge for today!

    Hi Everyone! I'd like to join this motivated group. I really need to get back on track ... I lost 13 pounds this past summer, but recently slipped back into bad habits and gained back 3 pounds. Help! I would love to hear about your daily challenges. How do I go about joining this group?

    Great job everyone! This is so exciting! I lost 1.9 pounds this week. I'm going to try to keep up with the exercise challenges, but 60 minutes is pushing it because I have some joint damage in my left foot. I usually aim for 30 minutes, unless I have time to go to a pool where I can last longer doing some water exercises.

    Maybe you could incorporate some upper body stuff or some of those "desk" exercises. Hey, it's still exercise, good luck!

    Last week my starting weight was 160

    Today I weighed in at 163 :( ...I am carrying fluid on me and am feeling like crap. I am hoping by next week the fluid will be gone and I will have lost more!

    I can't believe I forgot to weigh in this morning! I was running late. I will have to weigh in tomorrow. I did pretty good over the weekend. Sat. night I ate some bbq chicken with grilled asparagus. It was so good! Last night I just ate a grilled cheese sandwich. Tonight is manwich, but I should be okay because I ate very good for breakfast: oatmeal and tea. I just had my mid morning snack of the Activia yogurt Strawberry cheesecake. I brought a turkey sandwich on those new thin sandwich rolls with just swiss cheese on it with a banana for lunch. I have a 100 calorie pack treat for my other snack. I walked both weekend days and am going walking on my lunch break today. I feel good about myself today!!! I can't believe I forgot to weigh in though!

    Im SO happy to be in the 280s! I havent seen that number since I was pregnant (pretty sad.)

    Ive got my bike, and a new weight set and Im ready to get into shape!

    Found it! I am so po'ed @ myself today. I gave into some cravings, but still under my calorie goal. Still ate 100 more than I wanted :( I sure hope it doesn't bite me in the butt. I've been doing so great. I can do this. I am so sore from walking everyday....any suggestions? Do I continue to walk or do it every other day? I've just been pushing through the pain hoping it will go away.

    Try stretching before and after. Some tylenol for the first few times of getting back into working out can help as well. If your muscles are really sore try the ice heat ice method. Ice 10 min, heat 10 min and then ice 10 more minutes. It will get better as you are continuing to work out! GREAT JOB!!!!
