    What's everyone up to today?

    I finished Week 1 Day 3 of the 100 Push Ups Program. Did 52 total! (max set was 20)

    I have a DR appointment for my son today and then off to the gym.

    I did the stair climber last night at the gym for the first time ever and wow did it suck lol. So definitely getting back on it today and doing it again. :) Also planning on doing the elliptical and treadmill. :)

    Coach of my oldest son's hockey team and we have a practice so it gets me skating for about an hour... good workout.

    Just keeping those calories right where they should be!!

    yeah that is the plan... i am using excel though and it does not transfer to here nicely so i am looking for options to put the chart up...

    I would love love love to lose 50lbs by then... Im just scared its not completely doable for me =/ I have been on a strict 1200 cal diet for the past 3 wks and have only lost two lbs... but even if i keep that up and lose 20-30 lbs it would be much better than nothing at all! So im in it!!! IN IT TO WIN IT! =P

    It's possible that you're not eating enough, especially if you are working out. Good luck!

    My wife is in the same boat and it boiled down to pure math for her... you need to lose 3,500 calories a week for 1 pound on the scale. So if you are eating 1,200 calories and your base usage is 1,500 calories you have created a 300 calorie per day deficit. So... without working out or anything you are on pace to lose 1 pound every 12ish days... working out just helps you to increase the deficit...

    yeah this is true... i have some other factors like an underactive thyroid and medications im dealing with right now so my energy level is incredibly low. im having some more blood work done and hopefully, we can sort out this issue, but ill get there and I am working on increasing my exercise.. hope it helps =)

    the doctor put me on the 1200 calorie diet, it is definitely less than what I was eating before and was hard adjusting too, but im starting to get used to it.
