How you doin ?0 -
I'm completely oblivious to it. It usually takes me a while to realize that someone may have been flirting with me, and by then it's too late lol *hangs head in shame*0

It can be flattering, but I don't take it seriously
I just smile and move on.

I'm too thick to notice when I'm being hit on, most of the time. I have to be told outright.0

A man at the grocery store smiling at me and saying hello - flattering.
A creep honking/hooting at me when I'm running - sleazy.
Depends totally on the situation.0 -
Its a compliment0

Doesnt bother me, not in the slightest bit.0

I am a soccer mom in my mid 40s...any time it happens, I am going to be flattered.0

I agree with ilfaith.[I'm no soccer mom though.]
Its flattery. Well earned for those who are taking good care too!
Heck, I like it.0 -

As a married middle-aged guy with 4 daughters, I can see the point of posters saying that me flirting is wrong and unacceptable.
But...
it generates a smile and reinforces self-esteem. So long as it stops with that smile and feeling of self-esteem and goes no further, we are flirting, not soliciting. I have received 2-3 complements over the years, and they made my day. I didn't ask anyone out for a drink.0 -
Replying to this just to be flirted with.
I find it flattering mostly but sometimes also can get creepy .. just depends on who is doing it.
As soon as I see you walk into the club, I'ma flirt.0 -
The day all that stops is going to be a very sad day indeed. :sad:0

I'll let you know when it happens.0

no problems with it, good for the self esteem.0

It depends. If he can make me smile and laugh, it's all good. If its just pervy lemme git some bs, I can do without thanks.0

I love it. Because it NEVER happens.
This is the third week I've gone to a particular gym in this area, and yesterday was the very first time someone other than the employees has ever said a word to me. Not that I'm there for conversation, but I'm open to it occasionally.
I've also found that older men are much more likely to approach me. I don't know if this is anyone else's experience, but it's about 75/25 for me lol0
