What's MFP stand for and are we going to use the Team H20 external website? If so, I'll need the link. I am so in for this challenge as I, too, was doing good then lost my way. I need some serious motivation and the competitive edge to this challenge will help me immensely. I want to lose a total of 27 pounds, but realize I need to take one step at a time. Working out is not a problem for me, it's eating healthy that I find hard to incorporate into my daily routine! One thing I would like to be able to do by the end of this challenge (that I can’t do now) is complete an entire Insanity workout video without any modifications or breaks. Here are my stats:

    SW: 170.0 lbs
    CW: 147.0 lbs
    MG1: 140.0 lbs by Thanksgiving
    MG2: 130.0 lbs by Christmas
MG3: Meet my goal weight by my hubby's 35th birthday at the end of January 2011
GW: 120 lbs - this will be the first time I ever got down to this weight in my entire adult life!

I have two pics but need help with getting them on here...got them on photobucket but then can't get them from there to here...

I'd like to join in the fun. I need some peer pressure, I mean encouragement, to kick my booty in gear. Looking forward to it. I'm going to attempt to friend everyone to keep track on my home page too. Thanks! My before pic is coming soon...

    SW: 160
    CW: 162.5
MG1: Drop 1 size by Thanksgiving and be able to easily workout for 1 hour.
MG2: Weigh less than 150 by Christmas and hopefully drop another size!
    GW: 125

As my 3 yr old son says...Let's do this thing!

And does anyone have a link to the "12 Lbs of Christmas" logo?? My current weight today is 184.6 and I want to be able to run 2.5 miles without walking by the end of the challenge. Once I figure out how to post the pictures I will post some. Thanks and good luck y'all!!

wow we got a lot of peeps. I lost 11 out of 30 on the H20 but started a little late and I was brand new on MyFitnesspallywally. It has helped me not feel so alone on this 30lb journey. This site opened my eyes about how much I was really eating and how it took a lot of food to maintain that 30lbs lol. I personally would like to keep the H20 name.

I dont know if i will get to doing the picture, I will think about it. My goal is to get to the gym if my physical rehab for a injury ends. I already have my membership but have not been for over a year. Im doing better physically from a work injury. So that may become possible. I have enjoyed all the help on our H20 and liked hearing everyones frusturation and then seeing thier happiness with the loss of a pound. Its just reality of life. SO COUNT ME IN AGAIN

I'm in, and currently weight 142. My goal weight for this weighty adventure is 130, and it would be lovely to start the new year in maintenance mode.

My goal: do my five mile loop in less than 1 hour. Secondary, and more realistic goal: keep losing at any rate through the holiday glut.

I'll work on an updated picture when the heater's fixed (since I'm pretty sure my coat puts me back to my starting weight!)

I'd like to be in on this! My goal is to get my running time down to under a 10-minute mile. My goal piece of clothing is a pair of jeans... I'll take the picture but I'm not quite sure how to post it. Can someone help me with that?

Ok, here are my before pictures. My goal piece of clothing is a pair of Levi's Superlow skinny jeans in size 14. In the pictures they aren't even zipped or buttoned... ugh.

My starting weight is 186, so my goal for the end is 174!

Okay I've given in, I'm doing this too!!
And I wanted to say, my condolences about your husband's boss.

My goal is to workout in some way everyday (today was rock climbing and hiking!). Even if it just consists of riding my bike to school and back (6 miles). It does not have to be an extreme workout, just something to keep me motivated and on track. And preferably, lasts more than 30 minutes. I am really excited that, in only 12 days, I will get to count skiing as one of those workouts =D Also, I don't have a jumprope, but I know some plyometrics exercises that are similar that I can do.

I will do the donation as much as I can (good idea!) but i am doing a project that consists of not shopping at the grocery store for 300 days (im almost to day 100), and I have everything I need for winter in my freezer and in jars that I packed myself. There is also a winter farmers market here, and I have a milk man, and farmer friends that give me food :) Lol. This is my unique way of saving money in college and another challenge in itself.

    now - 6'0", 188 lbs

Xmas (actually dec. 21 since that is the last day ill be able to weigh at the gym before i go to CA for Christmas) - 176 lbs OR LESS!!

Also, long term, if I kept up this rate of weight loss after Christmas I could be down 34 lbs by May 1!

Here's the pics, i hope it works.
This dress is one that I wore on my 21st bday. It fit the same then (March) as it does now, which is a little depressing actually! So here goes.

I'm in, too!! :-) My starting weight is 173.6 - I'm not sure if this is where we're supposed to post our starting weight? I saw some people did and others didn't.. but that's mine! My goal for the end of the challenge is to be able to last 45 minutes on the elliptical - maybe even 60, that would be awesome! Right now 30 minutes kill me! :-)

Hello All, my name is Stormy Weathers. Sixty years ago I weighed 4 pounds and 6 ounces. Two years ago at Christmas I weighed 209 pounds. Since then I've been working at lose weight to get to my Happy Weight (148). Last year I discovered mfp and have found fun, freinds, motivation and inspiration from people with common interests. That's why I joined this group. Here are my 12 Pounds of Christmas Goals:

    • Wear a close fitting T-shirt without looking like an overstuffed sausage.(Muffin Top)
    • Lose 12 Pounds - Starting Weight 168 Pounds - Goal Weight by Christmas 156
    • Two things I want to be able to do by the end of our challenge
o Complete Ab Ripper exercise tape without breaks or modifications
o Quit Caffeine (Coffee and Soda)
