I agree with Ruth...walk up an down those bleachers and count it as stair climbing. Or maybe walk around the outside of the pool a time or two in between matches. Park far from the entrance and make a few trips to the car. Walk fast!! Good luck to your son!!0 -

Well, I did work out like a crazy person this morning and burned a ton of calories so I only have a few more to get during the weekend. What I thought I would do at the swim meet is walk around outside for about 45 minutes while the swimmers are warming up, bring some fresher smelling clothes to change into then watch the meet. The only problem is (and you guys can't laugh at me!) he has to be on deck at the pool by 6:45 a.m. and it's gonna be really cold outside! (I live in Florida, this IS really cold to us and we don't own coats!!!) I can't do the bleachers because it's a double decker pool with the pool on the first floor and the bleachers on the second floor and there are only two rows! Would make running bleachers fairly easy though LOL. So as long as I bring clean stuff (and lots of powder and deodorant!) I should be good if I can handle the cold.
