my New Year's resolutions are:
1) lose at least 15 pounds by march 23rd

I forgot to put in my New Years Resolutions.
1: exercise atleast 4 times a week
2: cut out ALL processed sugars and 'white' carbs
3: fit into a size 8-10 lil black dress by next christmas
4: play more with my kiddos
5: spend more quaility time with the hubby
6: Laugh more STRESS less
7: cook more at home and eatout less0 -
New year's resolutions

4. organize my CME credits and finish 24 of them (work related)

I have been participating sincerely in MFP since Dec 1st and I love the support from the community. I started working out regularly starting this week. This is my first challenge ever. I want to prove myself that I can do it.

I can't remember the last time I made a New Year's Resolution, hopefully that doesn't jinx me :laugh:
1. Reach my goal weight (I'd love to get there by summer, but would be excited the get there at all)
2. Once I hit my goal, maintain and keep up all the great habits I'm developing
3. Maintain my 4.0 GPA - pretty proud of what I've done so far

So happy to have lost a decent number this week, 2.6! And to be down 2.8 total is awesome for me. I think that for the next week, I'm going to switch my goals to maintain. Don't want to gain!0 -

My New Years Resolutions are:
1. Join a gym. My motivation to move is too low to exercise at home during the winter months.
2. Commit to showing up at the gym 3 times a week. Even if all I do is walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes, I gotta sign in and suit up!
3. Commit to making at least one home cooked dish a week. (I do more "assembling" than cooking in my kitchen...)
4. To do one fun thing a month that does *not* involve going out to eat.0 -

Well, not such a good start to my day....I'm up three pounds from last week.:sad: I know it's probably only water retention but it's very discouraging. I ate very well this week and exercised 4 out of 7 of those days. Guess I've just got to work harder! *sigh*

I had the same thing happen to me. Up until last week I'd hit a little plateau and didn't moe for about 3 weeks. I get up with my eating but took a little break from exercising for 4 or 5 days. Once I started again it seems to have jump started things.0 -
